You’re already in the province area, use coconut vinegar instead of bottled one. Coconut vinegar is natural and no chemicals. Let Boris learn how to make and collect coconut sap or Tuba from your coconut trees. You can make lots of products out of it, like coconut syrup, honey, sugar, candies, vinegar and natural tuba beverages. And learn also how to plant bananas in different varieties. When you plant one, you’ll just only to clean and maintain it and it will continue to bare fruits without planting anymore. Try also to locate locally made products (from Mindanao products) like milk, soap, coffee, etc., they’re way more cheaper.
THEY'RE QUITE BUSY RIGHT NOW .HOPEFULLY IN THE NEAR FUTURE THEY HAVE MORE TIME TO DO THOSE THINGS YOU MENTION.. GOD BLESS 🙌🙏❤️ US ALL SO HAPPY FOR THEM THEY FOUND A PLACE TO CALL THEIR HOME 🏡❤️
They can buy coconut vinegar in the market. It’s hard for Boris to climb the coconut tree and take the sap. It will be good if they can find some help to do it for them but for the meantime, coconut vinegars are available in the market.
How great that you found nutmeg! You are lucky to have access to fresh nutmeg. You can grate it and add a little to hot tea, coffee, eggnog, and warm milk, and it will add a nice flavor. It’s a great ingredient for baking (such as pumpkin bread, pumpkin pie, sweet potato pie), as seasoning for vegetables like carrots/broccoli/cauliflower/sweet potato or camote, and on cereal & oatmeal, etc. Glad you showed us how to make kvass, Boris. Thank you for sharing! I will try to make my own. We love it and buy it in the local Russian grocery, and it looks like coca cola in color so I am curious what makes it dark. Great job cooking the octopus, Darlene! My grandma used to cook it the same way. Take care and God bless! 🥰
Please subscribe and watch this channel guys. Let us help this beautiful authentic couple. Eventually you can build a bigger house a little bit far from the road though. I know its in your plan.
Watching from Australia, stay safe and well Darlene and Boris, you two are so courageous couple, full of determination and passion. Your mothers did a great job raising you to the person you become. Best wishes to your Mama in Russia, she is now an adopted Mama in the Philippines.❤❤❤
Thatb orange fruit is nutmeg. Nutmeg is the stone and the red net is mace. They are very valuable spices used for baking. Consider this a cash crop. Grow, harvest, dry, sepatae and sell.
Hello Boris And Darlene. Me and my wife really love to watch your chanel. Your story about eachother is very beautiful. It's so good to see other people with true love in everything that you do. You have mini apple or Mansanitas tree. That is good for diabetes type 2. You also have coconut tree wherein you can profit from it's "copras" or dried coconut, and then charcoal from coconut 🥥 shells. There are stores who still buys the whole old coconut because they make "bukayo" from it. Bukayo is a sweet shredded coconut with sugar o Latik. You guys can make more money from your farm.
Hi Boris and Darlene. Your vlogs are a breath of fresh air. I always watch from Dubai, UAE. Your simple and humble lifestyle is truly inspiring. Congratulations on the new house! Moving into a new home is such an exciting milestone. Thank you for sharing your journey with us!
This fruit looks like a nutmeg .If it is nutmeg investigated as it is one of the most expensive spices in the world. Google and research see it as nutmeg as it has lots of commercial value, in food flavouring, bakery, medical etc.. In my country a kilo of fresh nutmeg is about 5500 pesos.
The octopus has black ink. When in danger they spray the ink in the water to hide and escape. I marinade the squid in lemon juice and yogurt to tenderize it. In Philippines I cannot find yogurt in the province so I use cream or milk.
Love watching you two. Very interesting and easy on the mind. Darlene you have such a sweet nature. Its just so beautiful to watch. Love you guys from South Africa ❤❤

Hello! Those are fresh nutmeg! The red net around the seed is a spice called mace. The seed itself is nutmeg!
Filipinos don’t use nutmeg, flavouring for dessert.
Really? Good to know! I was curious too, that's why I really want to know what those fruits are. Thank you!
Really?
We have a big tree near our house with lots of fruits.
