- Up front, don't try this at home. All construction and engineering skills shown in this video were conducted by a professional redneck for entertainment purposes only. Anyway, I decided against spending 40K Pesos for a new grill and set a budget of $8 USD on a homemade build. The sea trials of the new grills didn't exactly go as planned. It's back to the old drawing board. #Philippines #Lifestyle #Filipina

Live from new York.marco there is a reason they use rocks in the village and not blocks.concrete starts to pop and chip with too much heat.
Back in the day they would use fire brick for outside barbeque grills and for the inside of a fireplace.
If you decide to build another use a steel plate to put the coals on.good luck looking forward to seeing the new grill when you buy it.
"When you finish cleaning that shit up get me a rum and coke". Pure Gold!
Great entertainment, probably one of the best videos we have watched. Keep it up
Concrete blocks don't last very long when exposed to fires. They get crumbly and disintegrate fairly quickly.
Marco with the black belt demonstration!
Concrete of any kind snap, crackle, and pop! The coals would need to sit directly on firebricks
Not much makes me smile lately 😂 thank you for this one . I needed it more then you could ever know 😊
Getting my plans together to build my own outdoor oven/grill combo so this is gold. I'm thinking I'll go with clay bricks, especially after watching this.
We got really drunk once and used a fkn grocery cart 🤣
After completion of a house build in Thailand I had an ass load of red clay bricks left. They make for a perfect BBQ pit/grill (no mortar necessary). Cheap as chips to buy as well.
Let the BBQ
begin.
Be careful concrete blocks. Do a Google search on fire and concrete. Remember you got babies there.
No kidding donkey
Make a table made of cement put the hollow blocks on top and use as grill . Put in an open air . Just an opinion.
King marcus, still waiting for the handsome donkey award 🥇 at my door 🚪 😊
Was recommended to check out your channel by some new friends I met here in the Philippines. Great channel!!
Brilliant Show ,King "Bruce " !!!
SMASH 💥 THAT LIKE 👍🏻 BUTTON FOLKS 💪🏻💥
Kung Fu Marcos, highly recommend keeping your day job of making exceptionally entertaining videos and leave grill designing to the experts and the Filipinos! That was one good video you shared stirring my emotions all the way from fright to laughter! ❤😊
Fatima looks
so nice in the thumbnails.
Probably a good idea to wire the racks together so they don’t fall/collapse when moving meat around.
We once turned an old john that had been sitting in the woods since the 70's into a BBQ, grabbed a rack out of the freezer that was also in the old trash pile...it lasted ten minutes ceramic popping scared the shit out of us as the bowl gave way and dumped hot coals all over the place.
Geezus Commander...those are some serious Van Damn moves you got goin' on there!! 😮
Good show , king Marcos. Thanks for including the harmonica at the end. I live for it!
I had to watch it again funniest thing ever 😂😂😂😂 I love your videos I be waiting for them
I hope it is not too late. Do not ruin that nice table. Also the blocks may not last long. Find some fire brick to line it.
That's hilarious your king (kung) fu iron fist block busting
I bet the onions thought they had survived another day . Science is fun .
I got home right at the end. Will catch the rerun, Mark.
I think you had the right concept. Just got a tweak it a bit.
Could not stop laughing from beginning to end, the emergency with the coconut chopper tossing them charcoals on the ground had me in tears laughing so hard. Then you turn around and act like Bruce Lee with the bricks lol😂😂😂😭😭😭😭. Couldn't stop laughing. Funniest video so far in the New Year!!!!!!
Just a suggestion, draw a diagram of a 1/8 steel table to hold your cinder blocks. Cut the tile to fit inside the metal table. Have the 4 legs cut to height you want it. Your local welding shop could do this for you very cheap and still get good work.
You just knew ahe would pick the fancy and expensive grill!
I shall get in early - I am so frightened - hollow block makes me feel like you are serious about settling down and making this a permanent post to base your beer drinking
Charcoal grill pn bamboo table .... In the middle of the rooffing area ...
Great idea, but build the structure with concrete blocks and line it with fire bricks. Then you will have a long lasting grill structure
Lol ,You can't make Content like this up ❤
Sorry king but that was hilarius .I almost bust my stomach laughing at you
Oh yeah first
Jax on standby #19 here we go
Thought that was gonna work at first😎💯
blocks have a tendency to pop and crack when hot, look at building a turbo stove
Fatima scratching her head, after the design and implementation phase was priceless… had me rolling #aviationdude
To light the charcoal quickly is pour a little bit of used oil. Use fan to drive away the smoke.
Marcos, is a GOOD THINKER, it sounds like he thought about his new grill build for a long time. ☺
The bamboo will definitely start getting hot and might even catch fire 😆
I am still laughing 20hrs later. Great one Marcos. It’s also clear tat Fatima don’t give a damn about your knee , but rather the clean up mess 🤣🤣
OMG! How are any hollow block houses in the Philippines still standing? Obviously someone doesn’t know how to mix concrete. Very scary! 😱
There are different qualities of hollow blocks. He has the cheapest version.
👍👍👍 entertaining as usual
Ideally, install refractory firebrick on the bottom of your fire place.
True power of the king 🤴
Mark I love you bro but take that wanna be grill outside. I can see the roof overhead in the reflection of the window 😂….be careful Clark Griswold😂
Fatima, show the king how to make a BBQ pit! 😂
Option A will be entertaining when the bamboo table bursts into flame
Ohhh..Sooo funny 😅..keep these videos coming bro!..so entertaining..excellent work
Hey Legend, Time ❤To Splash out and get the 40k BBQ grill,The King deserves it ✅ U get it back in TH-cam views ,Watching U ❤Grilling skills ✅ Plus its Safer ✅AUSTRALIAN-GUY
A + for effort..
Marcos had fun. In the end, Fatima got to have some too.
She can't put the Cream Silk wrapper in the Choco Choco, but she can organize TF out of broken Blocks. 😂
Don’t be a cheap Charley lol go buy a couple Weber Grills. Cooking on a grill with a lid is proven better way ever since the 1950s when Weber came out with the covered kettle grill. You might be able to find a couple of used ones on marketplace. They last forever. They’re easy to repair if they do have a problem.
Your design, if you really want it to work well, if you can get some rebar and drive it down through the bricks so the bricks don’t tip over drive the rebar into the ground when you do that trap the grill grates into place with the rebar or use some wire to hold the grill grates otherwise the grill grates will slide around on top of your design Plus your design burns up charcoal quick having the charcoal burning inside of a grill slows down the burn so you don’t have such a fire it’s all about fire management when you’re using a grill. The style that you have going on is something that you would want to get a big raging fire going off to the side and shovel the coals in when you’re doing that you’re wasting Firewood you only end up using about 30% of the wood just like Texas barbecue.
Fatima laughing at 18:04 😅😅😅
Fatima looked bummed out looking at that homemade grill. 😂
Blocks are made of sand and little cement.
You have to use fire brick or blocks and ceramic tiles will bust its not Pyrex 😊
Use fired bricks or Pumice 6X8x8 cinder blocks!
I just want to comment before i watch the first test....That roof is going to be black afterwards....Love your videos!!!!Peace from Buriram! But wow!!!! That ending Its Filippino Chuck Norris!!!! love it....
charcoal and/or wood needs to sit on a grate for oxygen needed from bottom.
been saying it for years
Don't be the sum of Your friends. They all seem to admire You.
Stay Awesome.
very good,,funny info
Love the super slow mo reactions 🤣😆 make me laugh..😎👌
40k BBQ grill 🫡 Off the top rope 👍
Maybe Skinny Jeans that’s coming after you seen you break that brick with your beat hand!!!!! Lol
I think your freestanding version is better if you can stabilize it you’ll also have storage under it.
I believe the heat will mess up your bamboo table .
Hahahaha.......The best video on TH-cam!
MARK it is time to invest in a state of the art grill so you make world class barbecue.
Yeah, eventually overtime of use so it will turn the ceiling different colors
Fatimas reaktion is class !!!😂🎉😂
and Fatima is typical filipina ,Saving the brokrn bricks and place them on dirt, filipino dont waste,
You should build your next house yourself, sir. I can't wait for more slightly design flaws. 😂❤
Bur honestly, great vid. Did you have to pour your drink yourself?
Buy the grill, marcos.....😂
just put the grill grate where the title and get bigger grate for top
The heat the tile and scotch the bamboo over time
Look for a guy that makes clay pots , he will have one and maybe you can tell him what you want and they will make you one, but they will probably have a traditional wok style cook , maybe you can get both for about $10us
Awe if you can afford it just buy the one. you really want and enjoy . It will last you for years so it will be worth the cost
What’s poppin papi?
Hey Dude. Getting ready to head your way. You ready for a round of Bettlenut? Do you need some cigars? Let me know. All the best. Rick
Bruce Blackard !
Hey babe wake up! Mark’s about to burn his house down with a homemade grill….
Mark I think those blocks need to be half of the heighth, I think you may be going through a lot more charcoal than you actually need
The KING, drug trafficking hunter, beer & whisky connoisseur, international traveler, single dad , international man of mystery & KARATE block busting champion!!!😂 gotta love the king!
Get some fire bricks if you can for the bottom to absorb the heat. A lot of heat gonna be on that tile.
try the filipino moulded made of cement with stones and steel inside of it mostly you can find in a wet market.
I wouldn’t 😊 use the table
You realize that concrete blocks will explode when they get hot enough.....💣
Wow, so strong. 😂
Maybe you should had someone in the village help you build that grill😅
Be careful had concrete explode on me once does resist to certain heat
😂😂note to self, don't be a fire martial Bill 😅😅😅😅😅😅
Not 40,000 pesos one....like the one you had, in Angeles city crib
The lesson is not to listen to inlaws! You were right the first time when you said to put down concrete! Clay tiles will always Crack ..
Put sand and dirt combination buy a native colon Grill
BBQ pit is safer I think ?
