Have this in the same green for over a year now, I feel the suspension is a bit stiff but good enough to keep you planted on turns , definitely not for touring the stock seat is horrible and I felt it is too light for speeds excess of 75mph I felt I was getting a bit swayed not sure if its me or the bike though. The rear brakes are almost non existent but front brembos do better. But the best part is it comes alive after 8000 rpm and really pulls hard. Love it so far !
I own a panigale V4s, so I think of I were to get one I'd rather stay with the V4 series but yeah I could see myself rocking a streetfighter. I do believe your right that the V4s do have larger displays. Your probably right about the throttle delay. The modes make a pretty big difference on the ducs. Didn't know you were in the ft Campbell area. That's not too far away.
@itsmeericb nice. Yeah, I've seen your videos from out there before. Maybe I'll see you out there one of these days. I really like the cinematic quality of a lot of your videos and I'm working towards stepping up my video quality as well. It would be cool to get some insight into your process.
It’s probably not, just looked like it was in the rear. I’ve seen shorter riders do it to R6’s before. You can lower it adjusting the sag or preload. Or suspension straps for the front forks. Never personally lowered a bike but I believe that is a way.
In the rear, you need to change the shock linkage or shock mounting position. In front the easiest way is to push the forks up in the triple clamps. The sag is not supposed to be used for lowering, the preload should be set to have 20 - 30% sag with rider on, to have proper suspension travel, regardless if the bike is lowered or not.
Im actually happy they dont have it... Why would I pay ekstra for something I never would use 🤷🏻♂️ CC on a naked seems at bit silly, but i guess they could make i optional for those who wants to pay for that luxury
@@allangrse617 Respectfully I disagree. I use cruise control in my truck even for relatively short trips on the highway mostly to relax and avoid speeding tickets. Studies have shown speeding on commutes only shaves a few minutes. Naked bikes can be used as commuters so why not have cruise control.
@@itsmeericb Unfortunate as the V2 needs to be revved to 11-12k to really get the 150+bhp out of it, shifting at 9k they feel no faster than the Monster that has like 40 bhp less

Very right. Congrats on reading the brochure. The tach signal on these as with literally any other bike overeads. To get a real 10750 rpm you'll need to be seeing almost 11500rpm on the dash. Do your research y@@allangrse617
@@itsmeericb I meant - you aren’t supposed to ride a new motor with factory oil over 6000rpm for 1000km (600 miles). You rode it cold then pulled it to the red line - that is why the orange light was coming on.
@@hibrooksphotography2062 I did? Anyway it doesn’t make the bike just unusable anymore. It’s one thing if you do it ALL the time but once or twice isn’t hurting it. I’ve done it with my MV Agusta as well and it’s fine. If it was a problem they would put a limiter on it just like BMW and we see how BMW has been having engine issues lately. That’s probably why they have a limiter on it during break in.
Would you rock a Streetfighter V2? Perfect bike for the street! 👍
Allllllllll day
Absolutely! Ever since I got a Streetfighter 848, all my other bikes just sit. I can only imagine how good the SF V2 is.
Loving mine, it’s fookin awesome
no cruise control, no buy
@itsmeericb I just bought this bike from FCAS 😂 it's cool to see the b roll of the bike I just took home

I usually at the Dragon once or twice a year.

I think the wings are optional. With them, it looks just like a V4 at first glance. I like it.
This bike or the 848 will be my first bike definitely, bike license appointment on August 5th I’m ready !
How can you lower that bike? Just with suspension adjustment?

I have a SFV4 & a Hyper, would love to add one of these to the stable, solid bike & fun.
Nice! Would be a great addition!
Do people look at the bike at lights etc? Does it have presence, especially in this lovely colour?
Does it say "look at meeeeee"?
I get stares at stoplights all the time
What bike do you have
So this or the BMW? Thanks!
You really can’t go wrong with either. Both are great and it really comes down to personal preference. They both are similar in power and features.
@@itsmeericb Thank You!
That bike is definitely lowered in the rear.
I thought so lol
That green is growing on me. Tired of all black. I wish Ducati would add more bikes with cruise control. Honestly all manufacturers should do it.
Yeah that’s the only thing with Ducati. They won’t put cruise control on tier bikes. Crazy because Aprilia and MV Agusta have it.
@@itsmeericbDid not know that. Thx

You were short shifting it a lot on the pulls.
I know. I do that with most of the bikes I test as they don’t belong to me.

I’m sure dealership will appreciate you wringing its neck, with only 300 odd miles on it!!
Gotta break it in right 😉
Really don't like the wings, but sweet ride otherwise.
Great bike but not in green
Everytime I see them, they look so small to me lol
Haha! I can see that. My RS660 seems a little small for me but it’s so good to throw around in the twisties!
Its bigger then Duke 890 and Mt09✊🔥
Rev it to 11000 its fast✊🔥🔥, Supersport are boring and Slow✊🔥
425 lbs. No fuel
Lowered??? yeah ok
Don’t buy this bike … break in period is max 6000rpm. Lol
Isn’t that about the same for the s1000?

Ducati have to be RED why would anyone want to buy shite green? I would imagine resale value on these will be much lower than the other colours.
Yeah I am a fan of red only Ducatis
