Me and my eldest girl 10 have been watching your Scotland tour and from that she’s wanted to go pillion and this weekend she’s gone for her first ride and loved it.
Good job. There are so many good looking bikes these days, so many great choices. Nostalgia aside, this is the Golden Age. I need to start stashing some of these beasts just in case my descendants only see self-riding EVs that can never fall over.
I recently traded my 2023 MT-10 in for a 2024 SF V2... Loving it. I considered the V4, but this is like $6k cheaper and 208hp on a naked bike is idiotic for the street. No fairing or wind protection, means so much of that power is wasted because you will never want or be able to go that fast, even on track. The V2 is lighter, more agile, and it may be quicker on twisty roads because you aren't fighting it and trying to keep it from killing you... Only on long straights would the V4 have the advantage...
What a beautiful and capable machine. Rode one for the first time a couple months ago and definitely would consider it. Riding a Ducati Monster 950 and loving that bike. Great review Kate!
I have ridden a V2 Streetfighter. Lovely bike. Stunning looks, more than ample road performance, the usual benefits of IMU rider aids, turns & drops in very nicely. Superb lIne adjustability mid corner...precise communicative handlng & nice ego's (5'10" male 30" leg) . Very good brakes - albeit not sure if they are the last word in terms of progression. Unfortunately I did not always like the fuelling at "very low" urban speeds (creeping speeds & junction turns etc ) , even when I changed modes & settings I found myself needing extra focus on clutch feathering to avoid jerkiness issues. Mirrors not great for view & clarity when moving but have ridden worse....Did not ride on a hot day but was aware of warmth from engine. Great bike apart from issues I felt I noticed but mindful others views may vary to mine Thanks for review 👍🏍
Great video, you did well in testing conditions. I would love a SF V2, its my favourite naked sports. For street riding I really think the V4 is overkill.
Years ago I used to ride back to Wales from London quite often, I also used to get wet going through the Cotswolds quite often, beautiful roads though Kate
In my opinion... No one makes a bike like Ducati , The styling and MAN!!!, that sound , I wouldn't care if the bike only had 40BHP as long as Ducati keep producing that sweet sounding engine, My only gripe with Ducati is the servicing cost. That is one awesome bike Kate 🙂
I got to take one for a short test ride a few weeks ago, and I was shocked to find that I hated it! Anything below like 6k rpms, and the bike was super vibey. Low down pulls made the whole thing shake like it was trying to shake itself apart until you hit 7k. I'm wondering if the one I rode was having engine issues 🤔 All the reviewers seem to love the V2
Owned one for 12 months, loved it but found it a little harsh, softened the suspension but it doesn't give much, always wished it was the V4S, be interesting to hear your comparison when you get that on road. I'm sue I'll have another Streetfighter, but probably not the V2.
When I got on it, I know its supposed to be aggressive but how stiff the suspension was out the box and the urgency of the bite with the bikes, just made it feel like a proper serious, mean and focused bike! Interesting to hear even with adjustability, there's not much give 👍
I too love the green. 3M Matte Pine Metallic Green (2080-M206) vinyl is very close to Ducati's Storm Green, if anyone is interested copying the design on their ride.
…I love the v2 platform bikes, snorty snorty pop bang things. They change direction like a scared cat as well. Looks like a great ride out with your mates. Great stuff. 👍

Speaking of getting your mitts on a Ducati...What are those mitts? I saw Chopsy wearing a pair the other day, but in a different colourway. They look like ravens tallons. Very cool.
Curious as to why a low, mean naked bike needs the seat height of an off-road adventure bike? Looks great and beautifully made but not a bike I’d want as my only bike.
I currently have a street triple RS, and once its fully paid off i intend on making a Streetfighter my next bike. I know the V2 is already more than i need for the road, but that V4 sirens song just keeps calling to me 😩
Love your review! Have you had a chance to ride the new Monster? If so, how does the V2 compare? I have a Monster that I’m thinking about trading in but I’m not 100% sure if that’s the right move. Would like to know what you think if you’ve ridden both?
One of the biggest differences is the amount of reserved power. My Monster plus felt like it was maxed out even in Sport mode. The Streetfighter V2 has so much more to give and its around town mannerisms are similar to the Monster. Basically the V2 is a Monster on steroids!
I have stayed away from awesome power beasts just because when riding on the road I always felt to say even close to the law you need to ride it at 25%. But being a twin think this is a bit more usable. Do you feel 150bhp is too much for the road or is it still enough fun for the big smile on face?
Great video💫. I wish you would have added comments in terms of how this bike behaves in low traffic or in town under 20-30 miles/hour. Is it in town smooth as the Street Triple RS or the new KTM Super Duke 1290? Or it is un-rideable like some old Ducati in low traffic - like the old Streetfighter 1098? If it was your dollars, will you buy it or will you rather buy a Tuono v4 or a Yamaha MT10? Keep up the good work - great video 💥

I ride a completely different style of V2 Ducati, the Multistrada V2S, yes Ducatis are expensive but no other bike gives you such a great riding experience or sound. The V2 Streetfighter is better than the V4 for the road, my Multi is my first Ducati after three GSs, it’ll be the V4 Multi next time as the Streetfighter is too focussed but fun. PS. You need to ride a Tuono V4. Nothing and I mean nothing sounds like quite like it. As many testers say it is THE best sound in motorcycling.
