I’ll likely never own one, but bloody hell it’s a gorgeous looking bike and a serious bit of kit. We need to keep bikes like this coming out to keep it alive. If things get too sensible/practical it’s the death of it all. Much love for all things mad and wonderful in the world of motorbikes.

They are getting crazy expensive and I agree that if these top tier bikes were the main ranges available then it wouldn't take long to close the doors of many dealers. Keeping a range of options is important and the manufactures should tackle price points more, but keeping these exotic, powerful machines coming will keep a side of the scene alive.
@ I know, but there are many factors as to why. If you’re not personally an owner or lover of high performance bikes then I can see why you might “blame” bikes like this. But insurance companies are a big factor alone. My point is that we (lovers of bikes in all shapes and sizes) need to keep it alive by getting behind new bikes. Manufacturers prices/inflation/wages all count and they should do their bit but I personally will continue to push hard to buy bikes as I love them and don’t want the soft core way to take over

hello from Australia .im a ol fart and in regards to them wings and you being part of the aerodynamics is just spot on ,in my youth i raced a Z1300 kawasaki and at high speeds i would loose my body weight and hover over the seat ,i really had to grip for dear life just to stay on ,fast forward 44 years and look at the development ,gorgeous bike boys
I’m also old enough to remember when they raced bikes at Bathurst! I started racing in the early 90’s however my house mate raced in the 80’s and would tell stories of how the front tyre would elongate going down conrod until it started to eat the front guard. Scary stuff and just one reason why they haven’t raced bikes there in about 40 years.

Keep the wings on racebikes where wheelies can slow you down. No need for them on a streetbike. I'm from the era where we loved a good power wheelie whether on purpose or not.
As much as I love the look and iconic value of the ss. From a maintenance/cost and torsional aspect of a double makes sense for me. I daily a v2 ss it’s not great for chain and sprockets changes

It’s just a straight up fantastic looking machine. The Italians can do it like no one else, they just know how to make a bike look like a perfect blend of form and function
Interestingly the design team was led by a Kiwi called Sam McCafferty. He’s since left Ducati after working for them for 3 years. He also designed the previous gen SFV2 as well as the new V2 Pani and SF. Bloke’s a genius :)
Can't wait for your full review on track and road. My 1290 desintegrated it's gearbox a few months ago. Tried the last sf v4 but it was too anti social concerning it's "noise" for me. This could be the one. Keep up the good work. Until it gets warmer I just keep rockin my 44teeth beenie and wait till there are some sf v4 demos for me to try. Love you guys 😙
I’ve got the 2020 Streetfighter V4s which I’ve had from new and never thought I’d be tempted to get rid of it, but.. that looks the nuts and you can have cruise control at last
I'll admit, wasn't a fan of the 2025 V2 when it was shown a month or so ago but it has grown on me a lot then they release this and I'm like ok, I'm sold. Loving the look of the new SF now.

As a current Streetfighter V4S owner, I have to say the new bike looks stunning. They should do a version in the white bodywork, like the last gen Panigale V2 had 😊
IMHO the wings should be great for those "fall off stand" situations. Here's the thing, check whether the price of the wings is less/more/same between left (stand side?) and right side. The difference shows the character/motivation of the manufacturer.
Not sure why the iconic single-sided swing arm is gone and I could stull do without the winglets, but I will be buying this bike once my current commuter finally kicks the bucket: 2005 GSXR 1K with 96K+ miles. I absolutely love my Gixxer but I need this Ducati in my life at some point.
Many options for carbon bits, the after market exhausts are going to be interesting. Riding through rural France or Italy in summer. Perfect. The M1 & London in winter, not so much. More than 200bhp on a street bike - mad and bad. Much less messy that the older one. Those wings are the 916 left side fairing. A money spinner.
Looks proper badass. The new model looks better than the outgoing IMO. They did a nice work integrating wings into a naked. Doesn’t look as tacked on as on some other bikes.
I love the look of that new swingarm. I never understood the hype of the single sided ones. Wasn't really a big fan of wings - purely because of looks, but this bike has the most tasteful design for my liking so far.

the instrument "cluster" not being tucked behind the light housing is pretty obnoxious. it's either the light housing or the cluster...you can't have both stacked. it looks like a big wart on top of the light housing. look, old bikes (or retro bikes), with round headlights can pull this off...but this is different. it just doesn't work. that damn cluster needs to go away.

I suppose they can't have a different swingarm because that's not good economics. They going to put those swingarms on all models now?? Like the fact they still use a traditional key. I really hope these sell in the current climate as what a great looking bike and perhaps in 10 years I can buy a used one 😂
