Hey there! Great video BTW, I just found your channel! I love both the classic wet and dry clutch Monsters, but there's a road and a track (time and place) for both. The dry clutch of the V4 is soooo Ducati...but like my M620, the V2 would just be more fun for regular riding.

Depends what you're moving from. I've had a 959 Panigale since 2017 and about to jump to the Street Fighter V4S. The V2, apart from the missing panels and straight handle bars (edit: and single sided swing arm), looks identical to the 959. Was thinking about getting the under-seat Akrapovičs but that's another £6K! So maybe not! Shame because they look bad ass + I have the under belly Akrapovičs on my 959 which sound amazing. Great video bud.

Personally like the V2. Seems like more useable power. Don’t need 200 hp. Also the 10k less it’s more affordable than the v4. Wouldn’t be doing much track days so for me the v4 is just too much bike for me

@@RemboUSMC it’s pretty nifty for moving around town. Wish Orlando had as empty streets as your videos do in Pompano area. Still it’s so precise and easy to move through I4 traffic it makes commuting relatively easy to get from home to office so far. Have to get those break in miles done so I can really rev her out. Can’t wait for that.
There are also aftermarket windscreens available (which I intend to buy at some point) to make some moderate longer distances viable. I wouldn’t go cross country necessarily on it but planning a trip up to Atlanta area for next year with it. 5-6 hours with a few stops for bike food and human fuel should make it pretty feasible as I travel light by nature anyways. To be perfectly honest it’s probably my dream bike. I feel like it fits me darn near perfectly. I’m 5’10” and approx 220 so I need to lose a few pounds but the ergos are spot on. I have appreciated having a seat warmer in these last few cool and rainy days in central Florida; we’ll see how that changes next summer.
The only things I know for sure I want to do to it are get some bar end mirrors (the stock ones are just about useless for me as they just like to showcase my elbows or shoulders) a tail tidy and maybe carbon wrap the silver plastic pieces on the radiator on the fuselage/frame.
Radiator guards are on order from Evo tech already as they are more or less a requirement on a bike whose entire front end is radiator essentially.
But other than that all I want to do for now is ride ride and ride.

The torque at your rear tire is determined by your gear selection. 1st gear provides a lot, but little speed. 6th gear provides a little, but a lot of speed. You want torque to pull the wheel up, downshift, or buy a bigger rear sprocket.
Bike sounds great. I dug that yellow Scrambler you went by at the end in the shop. A bumblebee paint job with that Ferrari yellow would be a good look for this one too.

I’d take a SF V2 over a SF V4, or any Pani variant. My SF 848 has been my ‘go to’ bike, while my others generally sit, because it’s so damn good and usable. I’d imagine the SF V2 just takes everything I love about the SF 848 and builds upon it. Lastly, I love the ‘middleweights’ and how I can actually tap into their power.

@@stuartlester7586 for me, that’s what makes it fun. My favorite bike ever was a 748S, because you had to wring it’s neck out to make any sort of progress. A 1098 is a torque monster, though, so I can see how the SF V2 would be underwhelming compared to what you’re used to riding.

Anyway, I completely agree with you, the V4 scares the s**t out of me because it makes you feel so relaxed and in comfortable, making you let the guard down and luring you into a false sense of control. That being said, I'll still take the V4 (which I did) because it's just a bike that makes absolutely no sense, it's pure excess, and I love it for that. The SFV2 I don't get. I don't get who is it targeted towards. The new 937 Monster is more than enough for (the needs of) 99% of the people that look into buying a SFV2, and that 1% that could ride it at its full potential, would be better off stepping up to a base V4. The Panigale V2 makes sense instead of a V4 (I'm actually thinking of a V2 in the future), but the SFV2 doesn't.
