Mercedes pre-Chrysler partnership is pretty solid. Post-Chrysler has been junk and worse. Cracked pistons, balance shaft separation,.....the list goes on. The Best or.....WETF we can charge a premium for!

Running water inj before the turbo WILL pit the compressor wheel blades. This is all stuff learned in truck diesels from the 1990s early 2k. Think about those wheel blades spinning at 100,000-120,000 rpms hitting those droplets repeatedly.
The issue with uneven water meth distribution per cyl I s because of the lower psi of the water meth pump. In true race setups for water inj on pulling truck or drag turbo diesels large pressure washer electric motors are use giving 1500-2000 psi nozzle pressure vs 75-150 psi you get from those cheap weak tiny motors on the snow systems. The issue is the dropplets have affinity for each other and join creating larger droplets and go to the cyl based on their runner flow effiency. If you look at individual cyl psi and individual egt you will see thus effect.
Try running a cheap chinese electric pressure washer pump setu0s mobile car detailer find popular. They run about 1500 psi and are like $100. Run a power inverter to plug it in or for dyno use wall outlet. Set a jet at each intake runner equal distance from head intake port. You will see a HUGE difference. You need less water meth but at the same time can use more. Its all because of many times better atomization. Water dropplet size is far less for better mixture.
The down side is the pumps are loud but ideal for race setups. Many d8esel setups with compounds will run a intercooler off the atmosphere / low psi turbo and then run water inj post high psi turbo as the final charge cooling. Again the reason for this is the water dropplets if run thru the turbo compressor will over times Everly pit tge compresor wheel blades. So for an all out race compound setup for tractor pull let's say is gtx55R intake to air /air or air water IC. Exit into GTX4294 intake. Out to intake plenum. The intake plenum with water jet nozzles over each head intake port. Nozzles connected to 1.5K electric pressure washer pump/motor. Setup off a boost referenced regulator.
Just consider what the cyl psi and egt or AFR per cyl is with carburetor setups running what 14 psi thru the carb jets!?! SNOW Water inj is 10x high psi. Inj water at the TB if you want more even distribution without increasing inj pressure you need to run much higher meth concentration. Gasoline turns into vapor at much lower pressure vs H2O. Meth is very similar to gasoline in this area. But water needs 10x the jet nozzle psi to get decent atomization if you are looking for the intake to distribute evenly. The fix is to 0ut jnozzle jet at each intake runner. But ideally you still will do much better with higher psi.

Reminds me of what they do to the olds and big block Pontiac’s to keep from splitting the blocks. This 4.0 Nissan motor looks like it will take a ton of boost and stay together. I run 33 lbs in my Snomobile and I like the Nissan motor and kept it to see how much it will take. YOU CAN SO IT RITCHARD!!!!’!!! Big Bang Nissan motor ! If you want it you got it. I'd like to see you test a range of air filters. Often in vehicles, people are heavily restricted for space, like myself, I've only a pair of 4" tall filters as have absolutely no room. SO would be good to see how much power is affected on singles or twins going from say no filter/volute, to large filters, to very tiny filters and even those zero filter guards.

On a supercharged Coyote F150, I'm running long-tube headers with converters. do you think adding boost referenced wastegates immediately up-stream of the cats would help keep them from being destroyed? I've heard of converters collapsing, and taking engines out soon after in boosted applications. I don't have enough room to really have priority flow placement of the waste-gates, it would have to be nearly perpendicular to exhaust flow.
