For long flights, I create a hygiene kit for the end of the flight: a couple of face wipes in a snack bag, some tinted moisturizer in a contact case, travel mascara, Colgate wisp to freshen my teeth, tissue, tinted lip balm and a comb. I put all of this in an eyeglass bag. It is small and discrete and helps me to feel a little more human.
Yes! Please, I'm going on a trip and it's really long from Midwest to NYC to Europe to Asia total of 5 days by planes, I already bought a fishing vest w/c has lots of pockets almost same as yours. I'm happy if you can make a videos of from 5, 6,11,27 lay over what to do in the airports. Thanks in advance.
@@pixieprairie8067 that’s a lot of traveling! I’ll be making that long haul video soon! As far as what to do in airports well that just depends on what airport you’re stuck in!😀
Another tip for us ladies..... pantie liners. The individual wrapped ones, wear one and take another one to change later. Will keep you feeling refresh and clean. Great for longer flights
Vicks is a must on long flights! I de pot a tiny amount and keep it in the zipper of my travel pillow. I also keep my mask and earplugs in the zipper area as well
Two pieces of that thin mesh shelf liner in black. One cut the size of the tray table. The other cut in a small circle to fit in the cup indention. Keeps things from sliding around. I always get a thumbs up from flight attendants.
@Myra Leto Great idea!! Do you think that you could share the sizes of each item? I’ll be traveling with my service dog in June from AZ to NY and always have so many things on the tray that I don’t want to get contaminated or fall off. (Flying via Delta, if that’s important?) Thank you. 🤗👍🏻
@@corinnelane8597 yes! As far as I can, tell when I am on a flight that has a layover, but I don’t have to disembark, I never see them cleaning the tray tables. And I only see them remove trash from the seat pocket when they see stuff sticking out of it.. of course, I don’t really blame the flight attendants because they have so little time to get things ready for the next group to come onto the plane. We just have to be prepared ourselves to clean our own seat area once we sit down.😏
This is one of the best travel hack videos I have seen in a long time! I am a flight attendant for a major airline, and I use a lot of the techniques that you have mentioned. But you gave me a lot of super great ideas! Thank you for this video! And I think you are very elegant and professional!
For the collapsible water bottles, when you aren’t traveling it’s best to store them unfolded. That helps the materials not get stressed and eventually crack along the fold/roll lines.
Agree. For short term travel, I recommend folding them to take up less space. Once I get home, I unfold to retain shape😊❤️🙏 Thank you for that feedback😊❤️
I had foldable bottles for a trip to Europe. They made the water taste like rubber. Not appealing. Now I just carry my metal water bottle. So worth it! For a recent trip to Spain, we actually took metal Britta filtering bottles. I don’t know how great they really filter, but we drank tap water for over two weeks and it tasted just fine! I also carry a similar rfid fanny pack on the plane. I keep my phone, my wallet, gum, reading glasses, lip moisturizer, hair tie, and on the way there I still have my car key. It’s definitely not as flat as yours. I’ll work on that! I have loads of other stuff in a backpack under the seat.
@@Rennygade1 Not sure what water bottle you used but the ones I’m using our no aftertaste at all. I carry many other things in a personal loan, a bag that way spec something that I carry in addition to keep everything accessible while flying. What I like about the foldable collapsible water bottles is that I can keep one with me anywhere I go so that it will be able to filter water anywhere in the world. 😊
I _always_ have about 5 or 6 Ricola cough drops in my flight bag. I rarely need one myself, but about every third or fourth flight there is someone coughing near me and I hand a couple over to them. Makes for a more pleasant flight for everyone, especially with all the respiratory stuff that is circulating at the moment!
That is a great idea! It’s always so dry and the flights, and it’s always good to have something to keep the saliva moving in the mouth! Thank you so much for sharing that hack with us😊🙏
Me. It's usually me who is coughing. I'm not sick, bt you wouldn't know that. It's from acid reflux due to nerves about being on an airplane. So...thank you for the cough drop; it does help and it is appreciated. : )
Same! I can fit 5 or 6 cough drops in a very small pill bag. I travel with them and make sure I have them if I go to a theater to see a movie or play. I really don’t like to cough around others.. there’s something about being in close quarters that seems to make me cough.
I live in Australia and travel overseas often so pretty much every flight is a long haul. I always carry a small bag of peanut butter M&Ms for when I just can’t take it any more. For some reason these always help!
Right! Flying is hard enough and flying on long-haul flights can be sometimes unbearable and you just need to have something that’s gonna make you comfortable and get to your destination without being super cranky! I normally don’t eat sugar, but sometimes on a flight I will bring myself a treat like that just so I have something to look forward to! 😊💕
for long flights (where I need to sleep) I carry a wash cloth. Before sleep I remove make up, wash my face, and then use the wet washcloth to cover my face (mouth and nose especially) because through the moisture keeps my airways from drying out from the low humidity airplane air. The cloth can also block the light and it won't fall off like a dry cloth. Then when I wake up, I wash my face again and apply make up.
Yes! During my long-haul flights I carry many things that are not in this little personal bag. I have a whole series on that, and you can find that in my travel Hacks playlist on my channel.🙏❤️😊
I enjoy all your videos, so the longer flight bag review would be great. You find amazing items that are efficient, useful and take up little room, but the one that always makes me smile is the air sickness bag. Anyone that can turn that from a trash bag to a romantic luminary is a rock star in my book.
I totally agree, I absolutely love that repurposing of the air sickness bag. But Eunice, you are a disaster for my bank account, every time I watch one of your videos I find several more things I have to order from Amazon!!
@@jenharvey3397 LMAO! I know your pain! I keep wondering when I’m gonna make enough money on this channel to at least cover what I spend to make these videos!
Lol! I’m so so happy I was able to change your life and a positive way! Those little folding pop-up fans are a lifesaver! And those who don’t know what a hot flashes like may never understand why you need to carry it, but for those of us who have experienced hot flashes, especially in crowded places, know that they really are lifesaver💕😊
I like using the doggie poop bags for trash and in case I need them for illness; and a 4x6 piece of cardboard to use as a fan. Your gadgets are great. Thanks for the info.
Long haul is 16 hours for me! Great tips. I always apply eye cream anytime I feel the skin around my eyes pulling. I can’t live without hand cream on a plane, so I buy mini tubes just for flying.always take a shawl that can double as an extra cover up or can be pulled over my head. Since Covid I also take rubber disposable gloves maybe 3 sets. If it isn’t possible to go to the toilet to wash my hands or I’m in a bathroom in a crappy airport and there isn’t any soap, I’ll wear gloves then throw them out as I leave.
That is a long haul! Those 16 our flights for me back-and-forth to China we’re always a challenge! I’m gonna be putting that long haul video together soon and I love your idea about having at least one or two pairs of disposable gloves, just in case you need them!🙏😊 truly appreciate your feedback to this community😃
Hey girl… I’ve been flying for 35+ years as a flight attendant and my commute is always on other carriers to get to my international flight where I usually work overseas. Great tips and looking forward to watching more of your videos now that I found you!
Oh my gosh, you don’t know how much that means to me coming from someone who spent their life as a flight attendant! Wow! Thank you so much🙏❤️😊 I’m also glad you found me and this channel and we are looking forward to your feedback as 35 years as a flight attendant.😊🙏❤️
I have my own flight list. here is my list; hand sanitizer bleach wipes, water bottle. Mini flash light, iPad or mac book, battery packs. Cords, lip balm, noise canceling headphones, quart size bags. Gum, toothpicks, tissues, and breath mints. I also include in my purse a mini power strip since i can power up several items using 1 plug in the airport. I like the fanny pack for domestic short flights. I take these items in my purse or backpack when i fly with some snacks everytime i fly.
Sounds like an excellent personal item list for flight! I carry many of these items in my lung half white bag as well and I’ll be putting that video out soon! 😊
A tip: If you have a small toiletries kit in your personal item, put your multitool card or other multitool in there going through TSA and transfer it to your in flight kit afterwards - they are less likely to go thriugh your toiletries and question it.
Several items that I always pack 1) Some AZO tablets ‘cause there’s nothing worse than a UTI when traveling - they can reduce discomfort while waiting to get into urgent care 2) AZO test strips 3) COVID test 4) small multi-port - so many rechargeable items!! 5) moisturizing nasal decongestant spray (can help prevent snoring especially in dry airplane cabin air) 6) wellness formula (available at health food stores) - first sign of URI, start taking capsules - can shorten symptoms - zinc is alternative 7) senna-based laxative - strange water/environment can make for less than optimal comfort (shall we say). 8) a few antacids 9) GasX - change in altitude and pressurized cabin can lead to discomfort
All great ideas and I carry many of those things in my checked bag or in my overhead luggage but I don’t keep those in my personal carry-on, because I only want things that I would be using on my flight or if I absolutely need it if they lost my luggage, but those are great items to take with you, especially on long-haul flights! 🙏❤️😊
This is my first video of yours that I have seen. Don't plan on flying any time soon, but still found it very informative. Liked the vest, but I would forget where everything is at. And yes to the longer flight pack. Just wanted to say it is encouraging to her to say you brought the mask in case the person next to you feels uncomfortable because your not wearing one. Thinking of others and putting their interest ahead of our own seems to be a lost art these days. Thank you.
Thank you so much and welcome to Theory of Simple I’m so happy you found my channel. I don’t know win being thoughtful and kind to others went out of style, but I think you’re right a lot of people think it’s just all about them. I try to be a cognizant as possible of others, especially on flights, were packed in so close to each other, and share so much of the same space. For example, I don’t put extra things in the overhead bins so that other people can have space and I try to keep everything in my little station and not bother anyone else on my flight. I’m so happy that you were able to recognize that and want to thank you for pointing that out. I’m hoping that by doing these things others will be inspired to do the same.😊🙏
I agree with you that a little courtesy and kindness to others goes a long way in making the flight more pleasant for all. Reclined seats always bug me. It's okay to go back a small way (2-3 inches), but not the full extension. Those who insist on being fully reclined make moving around the plane cramped and difficult. You can't use a tablet or phone in the limited space left, and it's difficult to eat or use the tray table at all. I recently complimented the well-behaved young (2 and 4 years old) lady and gentleman who traveled near me on an 8-hour flight. Their mother reinforced the kudos. They were great and will likely be courteous adult travelers!
@@cltinturkey yes, it’s very difficult with those seats can recline so far back that the person behind you can’t even use their tray table. I always wonder who did the user testing on those types of things! 🤔
@@cltinturkeythat was very nice of you to compliment the kids. As a mother, I always appreciated when other travelers complimented my kids. It reinforced what I was trying to teach. One of my proudest days was when my kids were 3 and 6 and we flew 5 hours to Baltimore. When the plane landed and everyone stood up, the ladies in front us were shocked that there were two kids sitting behind them.
@@conniekershaw4412 Traveling makes everyone tired, and I imagine children get so bored. Kudos to all parents who bring things to entertain and who watch over their children. I always try to thank the kids and then the parents of those who are well behaved. Traveling can be a challenge, and I'm always happy to see future enthusiastic (and kind) travelers in the making.
There are a couple things you bring that I've never thought of and I'm going to buy them. Even on a short flight I will bring eye drops, a tiny little tub of face moisturizer, and a tiny little travel size container of hand cream
Yes and I’ll tell you that tiny toiletries bag that I bring will get me through a week but it’s small enough to put in and I can do my full face and make up right there on the plane so if I have to get off and go to a meeting I’m perfectly ready to go! 😊❤️
Just chiming in to say Cerave makes a great face lotion with hylaronic acid which works great for the hands or any other body parts as well so you don't necessarily need separate items for these. Just found your channel and will be following! Happy travels all ☮️ 😊
I always bring earplanes to wear for takeoff and landing to keep my ears from hurting. I always have a Werthers hard candy or a throat soothing lollipop if I have a tickle in my throat or start to cough or get dry. Sometimes I have hospital socks for long flights to put over thinner socks or bare feet while relaxing. I have alcohol prep pads for wiping things down and I have plug-in headphones. Don’t want ear pods especially on a plane. When things drop they sometimes disappear. I listen to audible books on long flights. I also bring my own sweetener or healthier sweetener options like monk fruit or raw sugar packets. In addition I have a small journal generally. I love your idea of the plastic bag as well as the travel cup to get hot water from the gate restaurants since hot plane water is suspect. And soup! Genius to bring a ramen cup for a meal. I have swallowing issues and generally eat soup. When I last went on a cross-Atlantic trip I was starving because I could not eat the solid food served. A cup of ramen and a cup of tea would be nice.
LOVE the collapsing fan, water bottles, hooks for hanging 👏🏽 I definitely take pain reliever, neck pillow, extra large scarf to cover with, extra socks so I can take off my shoes, but not put dirty socks back in shoes. Toilet seat covers, also. Travel size poo-pouri.
Thank you so much! I’m so glad you got some great hacks from this video! I also wanna thank you for sharing your hacks with us because I love the idea of the little portable poo pourri!😊❤️
Wonderful video, thanks so much! I use the“Tube”travel pillow stores clothes and provides neck and lumbar support. You get neck and lumbar support plus additional storage with no additional baggage fees. Clips to your carry on, around your waist and your neck. Slim, nimble and easy to use, the Tube packs in its own pocket then fits handily into yours. I can fit a full set of clothes for a day plus pajamas in my tube.
I have seen these things & think it’s a great concept. The only thing for me is, it’s another extra thing I have to carry around through the airport. Whereas when I wear my jacket and everything it’s easy to carry around as I’m wearing it and if I don’t wanna wear it, I have a special strap on my bag that will hold my jacket and they will always let me bring that on, and I can take my jacket and roll it up in my scarf and create a pillow with it so the scarf then becomes similar to that too but also something that is multipurpose because I can use it as a scarf or as a sarong, so I want some thing that’s multipurpose when I travel😊
Great list. I use all these things but the Fanny pack for a foot sling is the best tip ever! coming from a cold climate I normally would have a winter coat so I use one that folds up into a neck pillow basically or I use a shawl (otherwise known as my bat cape lol). This ‘shawl’ has been very helpful on all parts of the trip as it’s really like a blanket. Noise cancelling earphones are a must as well. One flight I had regular earbuds but this woman behind me was snapping her gum so damn loud I could hear it even though I had my music on full blast in my ears! I couldn’t believe it. Last time I flew economy as well.
For any length flight, I carry my pillow armrest for whatever arm is next to the window (I'm a window seater). This props that arm up for leaning support. I make my own - just rice in a tube sewn shut. I later use the same armrest as a wrist rest when computing. Yes, please - what you carry for long flights ! Thanks and excellent video.
Thank you so much, Patricia! That’s a great idea with the rice as an armrest and computing! I did my long-haul video series a couple of months ago, and you can find that in my travel Hacks playlist on my channel😊💕
I have a lovely 3D velvet eye mask with built in speakers so I don’t have to worry about headphones or AirPods falling out while I sleep, and the flat shape of the mask means I have more room to lean on my side. The mask also has one setting for different choices of white noise. It’s amazing
Ok wow. I’ve traveled a ton and about to do 36 hours (Australia is so far from everything!) and this is the BEST tips I’ve seen! The only thing I’d add for long flights are eye drops, nasal gel, eye mask, ear plugs, and compression socks.
Thank you so much!😊❤️ in my long-haul flight series you’ll see that my personal item bag changes and I did include earplugs , eyedrops, and some sort of decongestant. I have not been a fan of compression socks until recently, so I am glad you mentioned that because that is some thing I think that would be helpful especially if you have any sort of health conditions that may be exacerbated by sitting too long. Thank you so much for sharing from Australia.😊❤️🙏
Yes. Long flight packing. I don't check bags. I have a rolling backpack and a small square under the seat duffle as my handbag. I love your vest or fanny pack idea. Awesome items stashed in there. 👍🏾
Thank you so much😊❤️ that first episode of my long haul flight. Personal item bag is already up on my TH-cam channel and you can find that in my travel hacks playlist.😊❤️🙏
Love your suggestions. And that vest is a Jack (Jill) of all trades! I am the type of person who needs my shoes off during a long haul flight so my solution is I take an old pair of socks and wear them and toss them out at the end of the flight with a new, clean pair for after. I don’t have to worry about my feet being yucky after the flight.
Thank you so much, Gloria! Truly appreciate your feedback! The only thing with wearing socks is if you go into the bathroom, there’s usually urine on the floor and it’s soaks through socks. That’s why I usually bring slippers that have a rubber bottom. You’ll find everything that I take out a long a flight in a series of videos I made, and you can find them in my travel, Hacks playlist on my channel.🙏❤️😊
Our last trip to Chine we started using the multi packet vest, what a life saver and brilliant idea. I do include personally sized moulded ear plugs. About four hours into a 7/8 flight a child near me started being completely obnoxious. As the flight was preparing its descent to land a woman on the others side of the aisle but one seat back, tapped me on the shoulder. She complimented me for not only being prepared for the screaming kid but smart thinking ahead. I had a lovely couple of hours nap while junior continued the sideshow. Funny some people scoff others are envious when they see you come prepared to make yourself comfortable. So well done, I have subscribed and look forward to seeing other tips and tricks I may have missed. Good on you for being prepared and flying smart. My mind goes one step further after being in Emergency Services for ten years in my younger days. I do think of what may be needed in case of surviving a downed aircraft. Odds of survival aren't great but just in case, I Want a few handy items. You may want to include a mylar emergency blanket in your waist bag. They are extremely light, fold up small and take up little too no room.
Oh my gosh, we must be related! We have such similar thinking styles about being prepared. I know some people don’t want to carry a lot of stuff with them when they fly they may not use, but sometimes just having a few things can make all the difference in the world in your comfort and safety.. I’ve flown enough times where things have just gone wrong, and we’ve been diverted and sat on tarmacs, and people got angry or thrown off the plane. So I just try to stay in my little seat and be comfortable and quiet. I love the idea of the mylar emergency blanket just in case. Plus it’s always good to have that on your trip.🙏😊❤️ Thank you so much for that helpful hack, and for sharing that with all of us.🙏😊❤️
@@TheoryofSimple Your welcome. Yes it's nice knowing there is someone else like minded in the world. We were on one trip many years ago, it was a bus tour. Two young girls were also on the trip from our home State. The day we were leaving to start our trip home, the girls told the driver that they were sick. Thankfully the driver relayed what was wrong. Grabbing my bag I asked the driver to give the girls 30 minutes. Off I went and doses them both up on medication for nausea and diarrhoea. Luckily they had packed their bags. In 25 minutes we had their bags on board and two very unwell girls sitting in front of us, at the back of the bus. Neither girl had to use the bathroom once we got moving. Within a short while they really started feeling better and by lunch time they copped with some food and fluids. That night at our overnight hotel stop, both the girls were fine and so relieved they hadn't been stranded days away from their homes. So it pays to be prepared, even if it is too help others. All the best on your future travels.
@@Lyn4817 This is exactly why I carry extra stuff! I bet those girls were so thankful that you are on that trip and prepared! 🙏❤️ thank you for sharing that story with us❤️😊
My daughter and I always wear ear plugs to block out crying babies and others conversations. She also brings an eye mask when she wants to nap on the plane. It is helpful if someone near you has a reading light on or the window shade open.
These are actually amazing tips. I thought I knew a lot to travel comfortably and safely but you seriously schooled me. I'm so excited to fly now knowing all these tips!
Reusable tote bag- Chico bags are my fav- when traveling with our preteens. We use a backpack or small roller to get through airport.. but before we get to plane.. each kiddo is given a tote to put IPad, headphones , book and snack!! Then bigger bags never leave overhead .. best part the Chico bags can be wiped down post flight!
Great ideas! I love those Chico bags and I carry a similar one that’s waterproof with me all the time! It’s great for using to take to the beach also for packing snacks and shopping when it’s a little bit rainy! 😊
Great idea! I always carry one or two reusable roll-up tote bags. They come in handy at markets, with travel gear, and in many other ways. Most countries I visit now charge for bags at grocery or other markets. I just pull mine out and save a few dollars and help the environment here and there. Someone recommended buying a reusable grocery tote from the local store when you're traveling internationally. It will be handy, help you fit in, and make you stand out less as a vulnerable foreigner in a crowd.
Eunice, you are the master of both organization and preparation! I need some of the items on your list! I usually put my in-flight items in my personal item, and have not been happy with that. I often forget which pocket I put them in, so it's quite inefficient. I also take wired ear buds, lotion and my e-reader. Please do a long haul bag video too!
Thank you, Colleen! I have wired ear buds in my purse just in case the BT ones run out of power. I don’t use any hand or body lotion so I don’t bring those. E-reader is a great add! I might need to get one! 😊
The pop-up fans are adorable!! I'm prone to hotflashes and just feeling overheated often, (living in Florida doesn't help!) so I always carry with me a handfan, to the point I might already have a small collection of them lol But as pretty as they are they take a lot of space and are very delicate and constantly break 😢 The lil pop-up fans look like they will be a great solution. Thank you for your awesome videos!
Thank you so much, Fran! Yes, I started caring these when I went to menopause! The hot flashes, or sometimes unbearable! I’m so glad you got some great hacks from this video😊❤️
THE PLASTIC BAG IS GENIUS!! The seat back pockets are disgusting! You probably can put your phone in it too! I'm a former flight attendant and I love clear plastic bags for everything! Thank you!
Thank you so much😊❤️ I’m sure as a former flight attendant you have found many interesting things in the seat pockets! I know as many times have I have flown I have found some things!
I only buy bags with bright interiors now, and hate black/dark interiors because it makes it too easy to lose your stuff inside your bag. Especially in a plane of dark hotel room.
I didn't think anyone else like me was out there. I am ready for anything, anytime. Home, car and my small purse. I also love finding small gadgets that make life easier. I can be gone all day with what I squeeze in my little crossbody purse. Instead of the air sickness bags, I carry doggy poo bags
A long haul flight video would be much appreciated. I always get useful tidbits from your (and others) videos but the winner was in this episode. My son talked me into getting the AirPod Pros but I have been a little nervous of losing them. I was thrilled to see you share the magnetic thingy to keep them from getting too far away. Thank you Eunice! 👍❤️
I got a 3 pack of the AirPod lanyard cord things for like $5. A lifesaver on flights but also when I’m at the gym. One pod always falls out when I’m on the elliptical
Having these comfort and hygiene items make a flight more bearable. I always wear a colorful scarf that can double as a pillow or give extra warmth. A bandanna can serve as napkin, small hobo bag to carry items, a washcloth, and many other things. I always have water, music and audiobooks to entertain me.
I have a roll of "doggy relief" bags (poop and scoop type) and we use 1 of those as our inflight garbage bag. I am usually traveling as a family so we generate a fair bit of debris even on short flights. They are inexpensive and super light weight/small.
Yes, very interested in your long-haul list. Thank you so much for your information packed videos, just love your communication style and content! Keep up the great work!
Thank you so much Emily and I’m wishing you the best of luck on that long flight with three kids! 😬 I hope you got some great hacks, and that you have a wonderful trip and make a great memories!💕❤️😊
I bought the clip you recommended but I got the medium size one and it really comes in handy. I used it in airports, restaurants, even at home. Don’t want to leave things touching the floor. Stronger than it looks and feels. Great rec!
You are so welcome and I’m glad that is coming in handy for you! I use that hero clip every day! I keep a small one on my person that way if I’m at a restaurant, I can hang out at the edge of the table or on the back of the chair to keep my bag off of the floor or off of a chair🙏😊❤️
Proud fanny pack wearer here. I carry range shooting earmuffs for sound protection. Mainly because people who chew gum can't do it with their mouth closed or without popping/cracking. It's also great for blocking out conversations around you. It does help with the reduction of airplane hum. They fit over my iPhone earbuds (corded) and I can hear the inflight entertainment so much better. My fidget craft for flying is cross stitch as it is extremely portable. I can make very tiny kits that can fit anywhere. I use nail clippers to cut the thread. As for using the fanny pack as a foot sling is a brilliant idea that I may have to try! Typically, I pack an underseat bag that I don't mind puting my feet on to alleviate some of that pressure.
Ok turning the Fanny pack into a foot rest is genius. Everything else is gravy. I love your creativity. I watch way to many packing videos but yours have something new for me every time. Cheers.
Thank you so much! I try to find ways to be creative and reuse things. I’m so happy you were finding some great hacks for your next travel adventure.! Truly appreciate you watching and the feedback! 😀🥰🙏
I watch a LOT of videos like this and yet, somehow, you came up with several new ideas I hadn't seen before. I am very excited to see they make a dongle for airpods! I always bring ziploc bags and/or doggy bags for trash (just recently I found some that have a sticky stripe on them so you can attach them to your tray table), but I never thought to use a ziploc to protect my items in the seat-front pocket. Such a simple idea but so smart, esp. for kids to use to keep things together if nothing else. When my daughter was younger, she left a couple important items in a plane pocket in Europe which we had no chance of retrieving. This was even after she had checked that pocket before disembarking. One thing for traveling in general, not so much for the personal item bag, is for those people who do need to wear a belt, there is a brand called "Invisibelt" that has a couple versions (one is clear plastic, the other is black with a stretchy elastic). Neither have any metal so they don't need to be removed going through security. I have a long scarf that has big open pockets on each end. I wear it on the plane to hold my phone, tissues, ear buds, etc. so I don't have to put everything on my lap in order to close the tray table to access my bag at my feet, etc. It keeps things safe and off the floor if I fall asleep as well. I use a carabiner to attach my sneakers or boots to my in-flight bag under my seat then switch to FitKicks barefoot-type shoes on the plane. They have a small sole so you are still wearing shoes, but they fold up flat. Another handy item is the TURTL neck "pillow". Folds up flat as well and is very comfortable as it props up your head while you are sleeping. No more of those jerky movements that scare you awake. :) Thanks so much for all of your great ideas!
Great vlog Eunice and yes to the long haul list~ I have a denim jacket from Chicos that covers my rear & has multiple interior/exterior pockets. Then I have the Tilley hat with storage (took that to Peru) and a scarf that hides & holds all the things with multiple hidden pockets. My daughter gave me her GAP denim jacket about 20 yrs ago & I just re gifted that back to her & the grand daughters at Christmas, so I needed the new denim. My items are similar, but I always have travel toothbrush & toothpaste, meds for migraines, Cottonelle wipes and for some odd reason my small tape measure. I added the caribaner that you suggested. What great uses for the air sickness bags ! My kids collected those thru the years from all the international airlines and we would store photos in them after our trips. Also they would get autographs on them if we ever ran into famous folks. (being that ATL was our home base, that happened frequently ) I loved the sparkle in your eyes when you talked about the luminary 😉 SONshine !
Thank you, Wanda! Love a good denim jacket with pockets! I carry my ultra small toiletries bad in my carry on but since I don’t use it during short flights I do not keep it right at my seat. 😊 SONshine!
I really enjoyed this video, and look forward to watching some of your other content! There's something very satisfying about having everything you need; nothing you don't; and keeping it simple & light.
Great ideas! Ashley, for those who get motion, sickness, and lately, some of the flights have been pretty turbulent and I think those are great things to have! Thank you so much for sharing that with all of us!🙏😊
The ziploc is a good idea! But I'll probably use a trusty ole plastic grocery bag. I always bring some with me on trips anyway. I use them for dirty clothes, packing shoes, all sorts of things... I've also noticed that whitening gum does make my teeth feel a bit cleaner (not as good as brushing, but better than nothing!). I bring gum anyway because of my ears. So it serves three purposes... cleaner teeth, better breath, and equalizing the pressure in my ears!
@@TheoryofSimple btw I love your videos! After traveling myself I find a lot on YT redundant these days but you've managed to keep it fresh! Plus we seem to have similar travel styles, lol!
@@countryrat6t6 thank you so much! I’m so happy you’re finding some refreshing ideas on my channel and as always I look forward to your feedback because you bring fresh ideas as well! 😊❤️🙏
I’m like you! I really don’t care what anyone else thinks. I need to get my stuff and have things Handy and anybody else wants to make fun of it. Well, that’s their problem not mine.😊❤️🙏
the zippy bag for the ipad is such a smart idea🤯 my ipad mini fits into my fanny pack so i should definitely include a zippy bag for mine the next time i'm in a plane!
Long-haul list yes. Last time I flew, I used the front slim compartment of my laptop backpack. A pain to retrieve stuff, so can't wait to try out these tips! I might move hand lotion from my liquids bag and add an eye mask. I used to carry the accordion fans, but I think your fabric round one would take less space.
@@karaitskara I could use the menu, but then I wouldn’t have one with me for my trip and any other time that I need it😊 at my age I use this fan quite a bit!
I bought a wireless portable neck fan for my last tropical adventure. I’ve usually used hand fans but have this a try and it was the best! When you’re running to your next gate or holding your luggage in line and you need your hands you obviously can’t cool off. This item looks like big headphones so people did think they were. They adjusted so I can put the breeze on me where I needed it and it had a few speeds. About $20 on Amazon. One of my best travel buys and I did use it often on my vacation. I would say this is a must have if you’re hot flashing as well!
My daughter found the niftiest little light fan combo on Amazon. She sent me one & there's hardly a day, or night I don't use it. It's USB chargable & lasts a long time She's been sitting on a flight for hours waiting for it to take off & of course, they turn the air off & dim the lights. I use mine if I have to take the pup out at night or a nighttime bathroom trip. The flashlight is brighter than the light on your phone. It folds up & the fan is 2 speed. Best little gift she ever gave me.
Thank you! It’s so funny how we used to wear those back in the 80s and they fell out of style and now they’re coming back! 😊 is an REI fanny pack from last year and I bought it because it matches my sherpani every day carry bag.
Yes to the long haul flight, esp an overnight flight. And thank you for the blue tooth transmitter. My husband wears hearing aides and he loves to watch movies on the flight. One should connect to his aides and make life much easier for him. I’m excited to surprise him with one when we make our upcoming trip to Egypt.
Hi Cheryl, that long haul video series is a three part series that I put the first two parts up already, and you can find them in my travel hacks playlist. Part three of that video is coming up this week. I have to say you brought such a big smile to my face when you talked about the Bluetooth transmitter that you are surprising your husband with. That is such a sweet gesture and I’m sure he’s going to love it.🙏❤️😊
You dear lady are GENIUS!!! I LOVE both your fanny pack and vest hacks! I use to put everything in an oversized purse which was a huge hassle in itself. IF I ever fly again, I'll be sure to have on hand one or both of your solutions from this tutorial! I would LOVE, LOVE, LOVE to see another video on packing for longer flights. I will also share your video with family who travels.. I have liked and subscribed to your channel....Thanks again I'll be exploring the rest of your video's in the next week or two when I have mores free time!!
Thank you so much! If you’re looking for a long haul bag videos, I did a series of three videos a couple of months ago, and you can find that in my travel hacks playlist on my channel! Thank you so much for sharing my channel with your family and friends and I’m looking forward to your feedback and their feedback on my other videos🙏❤️😊
Not a fan of belt bags. But I wear one when I where leggings when I walk. Love the idea of a foot sling. I am 5’2” so a lot of seats are not comfortable, airplane seats included. I have been looking at the slings, seemed like a lot to pack for a single use item. Thanks for the suggestion.
The only thing I can really add is shoe covers!!! Nobody has mentioned them that I have seen, and they are so handy. Simply keep a pair or two in a zip lock bag. Use them when going into the water closet on the flight, or on iffy hotel room floors. They take up no space, like and extra pair of slippers do. I use them at home too. I keep a pair by the door, so I don't have to remove muddy shoes when running into the house for something while gardening.
That is a great hack. Thank you so much for sharing that !! hi It’s so funny you should mention that because I just bought a box of those at the dollar store! I wish they made in something other than that bright blue color. A nice black color would be nice.😊 I’ll have to look for those on Amazon.😊
@Theory of Simple You're welcome. I have the blue ones too. Once I use up the rest of these I will search for black. Maybe Temu... I really enjoy your content. Taking a door lock with me on my upcoming trip for a good night's sleep!
@@JennyLee57 yes so happy you were taking the door lock with you! Always better to be safe than sorry! If I find those black ones somewhere, I will get a link up in a subsequent video ❤️😊🙏
I carry menthol cough drops in case I feel congested. Any congestion at all can make the pressure change really uncomfortable and menthol really clears things out, better than regular gum or mints.
This is the first of your videos that I've seen and I thought it was great! (Sick bag as a mini bin was particularly clever!) I would love to see a long haul version please! I'm in Australia so going anywhere international is a long haul for us (3 hrs to New Zealand, 8 hrs to Singapore, 14 hrs to LA)

You are such a doll and have such great ideas. I found my own little travel bento box today. 😁 I'm a proud wearer of a bum bag in basic black. It disappears against my dark gray travel pants so no one can really see it. It carries all my flight essentials as well as things I like to have by my hotel or Airbnb bed such as ear plugs and an eye mask.
Long haul flight please, Love love love your video’s, so many ideas I’ve needed, keep them coming I just found you & have only seen a few video’s but going to binge watch, please keep them coming, love the way you think & solve unique situations, for personal use. VERY GRATEFUL!

I always have my Trtl brand travel pillow. It looks like a fleece coveted neck brace, but it is incredibly comfortable and lightweight. I also always have to have a travel blanket or two because I get cold easily. I like the Travelrest 4-in-1 Premier Travel Blanket because it has an opening for my head so it stays on my shoulders, folds up into a small pillow and has a zippered pocket to store items while I nap. I forgot to add...I also carry an inexpensive pair of gloves. I can't sleep if my hands are cold. I have several travel jackets and vests with 20+ pockets. Mine were knockoffs of the Bau Bax jackets/vests at half the price but unfortunately the company is no longer in business.
@@sybilcarter9289 as you can see from the video I usually put the same things in the pockets as I do in my waist pack, except for my tablet, which is in my under seat bag. 😊 my under seat bag has other things that I may need for my trip but I don’t necessarily need in-flight. i’ll be making a whole video on that soon.😊
@@sybilcarter9289 @sybil carter I usually have the jacket or vest pockets filled with all the things that I would normally carry in my purse and then find a pocket for the cords for my phone and Kindle and a power bank. There's even a pocket large enough for a laptop but I don't take it when I travel. My collapsible water bottles (a Nomader 22 oz. and a HydraPak 2 liter) store nicely in the laptop pocket. One they are filled, I have a small (8x10" or so) thin, nylon washable shopping bag that I will carry them in. I haven't yet had a problem with hyper vigilant flight crews who are trying to prevent excess baggage in the cabin. Once they see it's just water, they let it go.
I like cargo type pants with deep pockets when I travel and I use a Fanny pack but I have to say I do love the vest idea. I was actually looking for a jacket with lots of pockets before a longer flight last summer but had a hard time finding what I wanted also I notice that so many flights are delayed canceled diverted etc. etc t just makes so much sense to bring snacks too and I love all the videos about that.
Yes, I love cargo pants as well because of the deep pockets! I’d like to find some that don’t look so baggy and I have a pair that have one little long pocket down the side and they’re really comfortable but they’re kind of expensive. They are blend of Merino wool and cotton so they’re really comfortable.. it seems like all the flights these days have issues and as I’ve been watching the news lately with what’s been going on with issues on the plane and issues with passengers, it’s just getting a little crazy out there!
Great video! The vest is a great option for my hubby who always gives me his little items because his carry-on consists of camera bags🤪. I would love a long-haul flight carry-on video as this is mainly the flights that we take. Thanks so much🥰
Hi Karen, thank you so much and I did a long-haul video series and you can find that in my simple travel hacks playlist. It’s a series of three different videos for the different things I bring on long-haul travel.💕😊
I have a Victorinox nail tool as well and love it. It also has a small pin that sits next to the tweezers. It’s easy to miss but it does have a little indentation ti help you pull it out with a fingernail.
I find those pins so useful for the reset button on small electronics. I share Eunice's fetish for multitools (maybe we should start a club!) and I love hacking them too. My least used tool in all my Victorinox tools is the toothpick, so I replaced the toothpick in my Hunstman - the multitool I keep in my bugout bag - with a tiny ferro rod made for that purpose. Then I added some solid firestarter (sort of like a solid Pyro Putty) that is made to scew into the corkscrew.
I could totally be in a multi-tool club! 😊 I carry the Victorinox nail card, along with the victorinox alox bantum pocket knife and the LEATHERMAN skeletool Cx. A bit overkill but I can’t pick a favorite….. I have some others on my wish list, but don’t really need them. 😳 The pin on the nail card can also be used as a sim tool. Many uses!
@@lauracampbell7589 I have been told that keeping a small Victorinox on BOTH my keychains as well as the Gerber Dime in my EDC bag, and the larger multitool that came with my CAA vehicle emergency kit, is overkill. I'll have to look up which keychain tools I use, but both include a flashlight and a tiny pen.
I like to carry essentials oils with me. My favorite are orange, tea tree, lavender and fennel. If it starts do get smelly I will put a drop of either lavender or orange on my wrist and will smell it once it a while to change the smell. Fennel is to put in my water,.tea tree is for disinfecting.
Great idea! Plus bringing some essential oils on your trip is a great way to add to bath water or even to a wash rag. You want to take along with you so you could just freshen up! 😊🙏 thank you so much for sharing that with us!
Thank you , I keep coming across the other videos of young women that bla bla bla and you get right to the items we need. Good video I'm a international traveler myself and it's one thing if you have just traveled for fun and leisure and another if it's apart of your life family in USA and Australia and this Ole gal can use all the hacks she can get.
Thank you!🙏😊 I’ve done so much traveling to visit my family all over the world as well as for work so I figured it’s just a good idea to give different perspectives on how I travel, and what I bring along with me. In the next video, you’ll see that the additional things I bring on longer international travel for comfort are also used during my trip so I hope to get your feedback on that video.! Australia is on my bucket list and I can’t wait to get there!🙏❤️
Loved the video and would definitely like to see your long haul version. I mostly travel internationally and most videos like this are nothing new but your tips and presentation style were great. I haven't seen an air sick bag on a flight in years but that's a great hack, the twist tie makes it perfect. Thanks
Thank you so much! I have started a tiny collection of those air sick bags because not all airlines have them! I’m working on a long haul video do so stay tuned! 😊
@@kelle1808 here is the link to some that I found on Amazon. They are paper with plastic coating, so I’m not exactly the same but they will do the trick. amzn.to/3K7zdPC
Hi Christine, I just did the first is a series of my long-haul flight carry-on items. If you go to my channel and check out my travel hacks playlist you’ll find it there.🙏❤️😊
This was brilliant. Being under 5 ft the foot sling idea is fantastic. One thing I would add is a couple of band-aids. They take up no space and can serve their actual purpose or as a handy adhesive tape ‘just in case’. I also like to have with me a spritz of food-grade rose water. It is hydrating on skin and calming. I keep it in a teeny tiny spray bottle, top to bottom half inch long including the sprayer & three-eighths in diameter, repurposed from a perfume sample. I look forward to watching your other episodes and traveling again.
Thank you so much, Wanda! 🙏😊You are a woman cut from the same cloth, and I have a couple of things in my long-haul video bag that I bring with me similar to what you have! 😀
I pack many of the items that you pack, as well as a tiny little vial of motion sickness drops that I can dab behind my ears, plus a rechargeable handheld fan. I’m cursed with occasional motion sickness and these are great comfort items.
@@TheoryofSimple it’s called Motion Eaze. I found it at my local CVS Pharmacy with the motion sickness products.. I also use a peppermint roll on for headaches, on the temples, which is how I happened upon this product when looking for peppermint oil.
Such a cool list of accessories to keep you organized, supplied with necessities and prevent loss of small items! l recently purchased the adjustable phone holder that hangs on the back of your seat on the airplane - excellent, compact and efficient. Excellent Video , thank you! Eunice ❤
Thank you so much, Yvonne! I’m so happy you’re getting some great hacks videos. Traveling is so stressful these days so anything we can do to bring us a little bit of joy and happiness during these travel times is just a gem.😊
I like the idea of using the waist pack as the foot rest!👍And the small water bottle could also double as a hot water bottle for tummy aches or cramps. Both Crest & Collgate make mini toothbrushes with the toothpaste in it so you don't need water (plus the ends have pick) Also you can buy single packets of 1oz coconut oil- makes great moisturizer or antibiotic
Thank you! I did find some really great toothbrushes that have the pics on them and floss and one has toothpaste and one doesn’t so I’ll be showing those soon and regarding those coconut oil packets. I love those things! They’re good as a moisturizer and for cooking💕😊
Your videos are always full of useful tips and are enjoyable to watch 🙂. I have several amenity kits, my favorite are from Qatar airways, Gulf Air and ANA. I always carry a new one when travelling. Besides containing the toiletries I need, I can use them as little clutch bags. Great on cruiseships!
A couple of years ago, a friend turned me on to travel cuticle nippers. I always seem to find a hangnail when I'm bored and not in a position to get to my toiletries bag. I now have them nearly everywhere: purse, bedside table, office drawer, bathroom drawer... Plus, I no longer need to pack my full size nippers at all.
Thank you for all these great tips, I’m a flight attendant and still never thought of many of these items……I don’t get to be a passenger much but I love to give my passengers good ideas. One being BRING FOOD …. So many times no food available on the flight and the Airport restaurants are closed. I feel so bad for those passengers that are hungry.
Thank you so much ! That really means a lot coming from someone who makes a Living Flying all day ! You hit the nail right on the head. The last flight that I took with my dad was supposed to be 4 1/2 hours and turned into a 36 hour ordeal. I was so glad that I had packed these large bento boxes for us to have as meals because everything in the airport was closed by the time our plane landed and also everything in the hotel is closed because we got in so late. And I always encourage people to bring lots of snacks because you could always use those in your hotel room or AirBnb or on your return flight.! 🙏❤️😊

Yep! You took a page right out of my book! Many of those things are in my long-haul travel set and that video will be coming soon!😊
Yes! Please, I'm going on a trip and it's really long from Midwest to NYC to Europe to Asia total of 5 days by planes, I already bought a fishing vest w/c has lots of pockets almost same as yours.

Another tip for us ladies..... pantie liners. The individual wrapped ones, wear one and take another one to change later. Will keep you feeling refresh and clean. Great for longer flights
Yes! Great info! Thanks for sharing!😊
I do that too.
Ditto!
I have never had enough room to put my feet into a sling and I am not even 5’3
a game changer for me was bringing a vicks nasal inhaler or spray especially for long haul flights when the dry air becomes intolerable.
Oh, that’s an oldie but a goodie! I haven’t seen one of those in a long time! That’s a great idea. Thank you so much for sharing that.😊❤️🙏
Saline mist is a great idea for my Italy trip! Thank you!!!
Great idea! ❤️😊 thank you for sharing that Hack with us🙏
@Myra Leto Great idea!! Do you think that you could share the sizes of each item? I’ll be traveling with my service dog in June from AZ to NY and always have so many things on the tray that I don’t want to get contaminated or fall off. (Flying via Delta, if that’s important?)
Thank you. 🤗👍🏻
Disinfectant wipes for the tray table - they are rarely cleaned thoroughly.
We just have to be prepared ourselves to clean our own seat area once we sit down.😏
@@corinnelane8597 : Yes ! Especially the edges 😖
This is one of the best travel hack videos I have seen in a long time! I am a flight attendant for a major airline, and I use a lot of the techniques that you have mentioned. But you gave me a lot of super great ideas! Thank you for this video! And I think you are very elegant and professional!
Oh my gosh! 🙏 Thank you so much!🙏 Your comment made my day! 😊❤️ coming from someone who flies for a living, this means the world🙏😊❤️
Gosh! You must be a trip to sit next to on a flight!! Never know what you'd be pulling out your pockets!! I'd be rolling!
Lol! Sitting next to Mary Poppins! 😂🤣
Thank you so much for sharing that hack with us😊🙏
Great idea! I'll do that from now on too!
Me. It's usually me who is coughing. I'm not sick, bt you wouldn't know that. It's from acid reflux due to nerves about being on an airplane. So...thank you for the cough drop; it does help and it is appreciated. : )
@@AdventistPrepper now I will always carry a cough drop in case I run into you🙏😊
Ha, I just now bought my peanut M&Ms for my 5-hour flight! 👍🏼
I had my M&Ms for the flight from Munich to Singapore yesterday and didn’t eat them! I wonder if they’ll last until Saturday’s flight back to Sydney.
@@Shakashack2022 enjoy😋
@@ellybea68 m&m’s will definitely last 😋❤️
for long flights (where I need to sleep) I carry a wash cloth.
Great idea! Thank you, Jen!
Agreed.
I've had my multi-tool taken by TSA although it was a bit different than one you showed. I was so bummed as I used it so often any method of travel...
Several items that I always pack
1) Some AZO tablets ‘cause there’s nothing worse than a UTI when traveling - they can reduce discomfort while waiting to get into urgent care
2) AZO test strips
3) COVID test
4) small multi-port - so many rechargeable items!!
5) moisturizing nasal decongestant spray (can help prevent snoring especially in dry airplane cabin air)
6) wellness formula (available at health food stores) - first sign of URI, start taking capsules - can shorten symptoms - zinc is alternative
7) senna-based laxative - strange water/environment can make for less than optimal comfort (shall we say).
8) a few antacids
9) GasX - change in altitude and pressurized cabin can lead to discomfort

Great tips! Thank you for sharing! Soup is my goto when traveling! 😊

After 3 years of full time travel, I thought I had my kit pretty perfect-- but that multi tool is AMAZING
Thank you so much ! 🙏😊I love that multi tool! ❤️
Thank you!❤️🙏Noise canceling head phone or ear buds are a must!!😊
Omg the magnetic AirPods strap! That’s life changing! This definitely gave me ideas to redo my in flight fanny pack! Thank you so much!!
Hi Jessica! You are so welcome and I’m so glad you got a great hack for your next travel adventure❤️😊
“Sounds” amazing! Thanks for sharing! 😊
This woman is my spirit animal! I travel all the time, but these are just awesome tips!
Thank you so much, Ashley! 💕😊 we are kindred spirits playlist💕
I do the same to get through security. I wear old, holey, missing-their-match sox to throw away after.😁
Our last trip to Chine we started using the multi packet vest, what a life saver and brilliant idea.

My daughter and I always wear ear plugs to block out crying babies and others conversations. She also brings an eye mask when she wants to nap on the plane. It is helpful if someone near you has a reading light on or the window shade open.

@@cltinturkey and it makes a great reusable souvenir that remind you of the trip when you use it when you get back home😊💕
Yes! I have another waist pack that is yellow and it it nice and bright inside! 😊
That vest is insane! Whoah!
The great way to get more stuff on the plane especially nowadays when they’re charging people even for a personal item bag! 💕😊
Aaaw, such a good idea to turn the bag into a sling. I thought about bying a sling but now I dont need anymore. 😉 Thank you for your tipps.

I didn't think anyone else like me was out there. I am ready for anything, anytime. Home, car and my small purse. I also love finding small gadgets that make life easier. I can be gone all day with what I squeeze in my little crossbody purse. Instead of the air sickness bags, I carry doggy poo bags
Birds of a feather! 💕I always carry a dog poop bag too! They get so small and are so useful! 😊
A long haul flight video would be much appreciated. I always get useful tidbits from your (and others) videos but the winner was in this episode.
Great ideas! Depending on time of year I sometimes bring a crochet project! Usually, I finish it and leave it with someone I am visiting. 😊
Ok turning the Fanny pack into a foot rest is genius. Everything else is gravy. I love your creativity. I watch way to many packing videos but yours have something new for me every time. Cheers.

Thanks so much for all of your great ideas!
Thank you so much! Also, thank you so much for the suggestions on the additional things that make our flight so much easier💕😊
😊 SONshine!

I always keep my sea bands and crystallized ginger with me, plus some Gin-Gins. I get motion sick easily and these help every time.
Great Ideas! Thanks for sharing! 😊🙏❤️

Thank you, Breta! Back packs are useful to carry on your back but a pain to dig things out of! That pop up fan is a game changer!😊

@@michynature oh! I’ll have to look at that one! Thank you so much for sharing that with us😊🙏❤️
My daughter found the niftiest little light fan combo on Amazon. She sent me one & there's hardly a day, or night I don't use it. It's USB chargable & lasts a long time
She's been sitting on a flight for hours waiting for it to take off & of course, they turn the air off & dim the lights. I use mine if I have to take the pup out at night or a nighttime bathroom trip. The flashlight is brighter than the light on your phone. It folds up & the fan is 2 speed. Best little gift she ever gave me.
Thank you for sharing , Paula! Would you have the name of it?🙏😊❤️

Thank you! I am always looking to make things dual purpose! This does it!
@Theory of Simple They have some silicon black on Temu, and a few different color of disposable. 🙂
@@JennyLee57 thank you!🙏❤️😊
I carry menthol cough drops in case I feel congested. Any congestion at all can make the pressure change really uncomfortable and menthol really clears things out, better than regular gum or mints.
Really great idea and so thank you for sharing with us! Yes, being conscious in a plane is definitely not a good feeling🙏❤️
This is the first of your videos that I've seen and I thought it was great! (Sick bag as a mini bin was particularly clever!)
I would love to see a long haul version please! I'm in Australia so going anywhere international is a long haul for us (3 hrs to New Zealand, 8 hrs to Singapore, 14 hrs to LA)
Thank you so much!😊🙏 long-haul videos coming soon!
On a some airlines, if the sick bags looks “used”, you will need to throw the sick bag away in the bathroom.
@@shaaronsellars5821 go to know 🙏😊❤️ thank you for sharing that 😊
What a great idea ! The foot sling from a waist pack ! I was about to buy one ( sling )
Thank you! The waist pack works great!
Eunice, you are simply amazing! I love your videos and they are so helpful for everyday life too! So glad your hubby is doing much better. 🙏🏼 Thanks for how much you help us!!
Thank you so much!❤️ try to bring you something new and creative every video😊 thank you so much for watching and giving your feedback and also your prayers for David🙏
@@TheoryofSimple Prayers are so important! I just ordered a slightly different multi charge cord, thanks for the idea! I needed micro and lightening. Will came in handy for my upcoming getaway! THANK YOU!
@@AnnieGill7 you are so welcome! Thank you for watching and commenting❤️🙏
Thanks for the carabiner hack for hanging stuff off of the tray table!
You are very welcome! I love sharing my travel hacks with you😊
You are such a doll and have such great ideas.
Thank you so very much! 😊🙏 it sounds like you and I are cut from the same cloth! I like to keep all my essentials near me all the time! 😊🥰
Long haul flight please, Love love love your video’s, so many ideas I’ve needed, keep them coming I just found you & have only seen a few video’s but going to binge watch, please keep them coming, love the way you think & solve unique situations, for personal use. VERY GRATEFUL!
Thank you so much, Linda! My long-haul, like bag series is a three part series that is up on my channel in the travel hacks playlist! 😊 I’m so happy you’re finding my videos useful and getting some great hacks! I look forward to your comments on my long-haul video series!
Great hacks! 😀Thanks for sharing! I hate when I find something great and then they discontinue it!
What kinds of things do you put in the pockets? I needs all the thrills and hacks as a somewhat new traveler.
@@danaeads919 ok. Great. Thanks.
I have a similar ack that is see through. I’ve carried it for at least 10 years. I call it my McGuyver kit.
Yes! Prepared for anything!😊
@@TheoryofSimple yes lots of mishaps and close calls. A little scary!
Sadly, that vest in both colors is no longer available.
@@mariejackson325 it’s sold out so quickly! Here’s one that is similar and has lots of pockets😊amzn.to/3JYdqdg
OMG! I NEVER noticed it! Perfect for popping a blister or pinning a boutonniere! Love this! Thank you for pointing that out!!!
@@jenharvey3397 OK, you are seriously amazing! You need to make a video on that!!!
Long haul bag please ☺️
You always have such great ideas and finds and I love it 👍
Thank you!🙏😊 long haul bag video coming soon!
Wonder if those types of bags can be purchased?
@@kelle1808 here is the link to some that I found on Amazon. They are paper with plastic coating, so I’m not exactly the same but they will do the trick. amzn.to/3K7zdPC
GREAT GREAT GREAT travel tips. Thank you!
Thank you and you are so welcome 😊🙏❤️
Long Haul Bag, please! Your videos are so helpful. I am preparing for a trip in the fall and I have learned so much from you! Thanks!
Thank you so much Cassandra! I’m so happy you’re getting some great hacks for my video, and I will be making that long haul video soon!😊
WOW!
Keep up the good work!
Thank you so much, Judy🙏❤️😊 I’m looking forward to bringing you more great videos❤️
Long haul bag please! Great tips here, will definitely be including on my next flight. ❤
What a great list! I added a handful of things to my tiny waist pack thanks to your recommendations! Thank you!
You are so very welcome! Thank you so much for your wonderful feedback🙏😊❤️
I pack many of the items that you pack, as well as a tiny little vial of motion sickness drops that I can dab behind my ears, plus a rechargeable handheld fan. I’m cursed with occasional motion sickness and these are great comfort items.
Thank you! Would love to know what drops you use! 🙏😊💕
@@TheoryofSimple it’s called Motion Eaze. I found it at my local CVS Pharmacy with the motion sickness products.. I also use a peppermint roll on for headaches, on the temples, which is how I happened upon this product when looking for peppermint oil.
@@GinnyClunan thank you so much for sharing that with us 💕😊🙏
Such a cool list of accessories to keep you organized, supplied with necessities and prevent loss of small items! l recently purchased the adjustable phone holder that hangs on the back of your seat on the airplane - excellent, compact and efficient.
Both Crest & Collgate make mini toothbrushes with the toothpaste in it so you don't need water (plus the ends have pick)
Also you can buy single packets of 1oz coconut oil- makes great moisturizer or antibiotic
Thankmyou🙏❤️😊 Yes! I have saved a couple and used them to store electronics and as packing cubes!
Do you have a link to them? I would like to see them!🙏😊
Please share a brand name or link! I looked, but didn’t find anything that looked like it would pass TSA.
Long haul bag please…love your videos; keep them coming!
Thank you, Michelle! Long-haul videos coming soon!😊
Love your idea to use it as a footrest. Multi purpose items are the best for travel.
@@241JMJR thanks! Versatility is the key!😊
