EUNICE!!! Love all your videos, but sadly I must let you go because you are turning me into a “shopaholic”!!! So many of your little cute ideas make complete sense to me, and I barely ever travel, but I must have them!! OK, I’m kidding about letting you go, I won’t, you and your videos are just too adorable! 😂❤
Me also. everything Eunice shows us is so practical. Many of these tips are useful when just staying "in country" and travelling to family or friends. I do love this channel, I've gained many ideas for just travelling by bus or coach or train to London. And being a senior citizen I appreciate any weight saving, and security tips. I folded double kitchen foil round thin flexible card to place in my bank card wallet RFID without having to discard a perfectly good item and buy new. I might try sewing a phone sleeve with fold over tuck in flap. sandwich the foil between the outer and inner fabric. Detachable strap means I can "crossbody" wear it. Foil food trays are quite thick, they don't tear like kitchen foil but they are still flexible. Edges will be sharp so just fold over, or fold glue tape over. . But I'm not sure how the sewing machine needle will cope, so perhaps an experiment, double sided sewing tape, thin lines of glue at the edges ? Could even make a basic big pouch to slip into the handbag or tote. - and could double up as a crossbody/hand bag. . UK. E❤
This was such a great video! I especially appreciated how you weren't afraid to talk about preparing for uncomfortable situations on the road (bug bites, bowel problems, etc)!
Thank you so much💕😊 I always figured it’s better to talk about it find a solution rather than sweep it under the rug, and everybody suffers! And even if you don’t have a situation like this right now, you never know when something like this might pop up later ❤️😊 truly appreciate your feedback💕💕
YESSS!... I love your tiny toiletry thingys but I'm most impressed with your practical gadgets (night light, portable humidifier -wow!- hooks, etc.). And... the portable bidet is a winner. Most of all, I like that you are REAL. Getting sick away from home or wanting to find comfort or ambience are important too. THANK YOU! 🌼🌿
You’re so very welcome and I’m so glad that you got some great Haxan can appreciate me just being me and real in this video! I truly appreciate you giving me your feedback😊❤️
I watch a lot of people here on YT that do travel packing videos but your channel is my absolute FAVORITE ❤ I get so many great ideas from you. Thanks for all the helpful tips and tricks. ❤👍🏼
Thank you so much! That truly means a lot to me and I want to thank you so much for giving me that feedback and encouragement! I’m also very happy you’re getting some great hacks for your travel adventures😊❤️
I agree! ❤ all these helpful tips and products! I have been trying so simplify and condense my travel bag and purses for a long time, searching and searching for smaller containers. I carry a heavy-duty suction-cup hook to hang my bag from the bathroom mirror. I thought about Command products but didn’t think about the painters’ tape. I’m guessing you carry replacement strips for the hooks. I’ll be watching more of your videos (this is the first one I’ve seen)!
Oh my gosh! I am so glad you found this video, and found my channel! 40 years of traveling and some painful mistakes and issues have taught me a lot. Sometimes I’m overprepared, but I look at it like car insurance, you don’t want it, but you need it and you’re glad you have it when you do need it.💕😊
@@TheoryofSimple so true! All these years, I’ve been overpacking the wrong things! Too many clothes, not enough of the right toiletries & comforts 🤗 Thanks to you, Theory of Simple, I’ll be much better prepared ☮️
The command hook idea is everything! I am always so frustrated, when there isn't any counterspace to put my toiletries in a tiny bathroom. I will definetely copy this!
Thank you for being real with details about your travel bidet kit!!! I really appreciate your videos, I have learned so much from you. Keep the videos coming.
Thank you so much! My family says, “if there’s something uncomfortable to talk about, Eunice will talk about it” 🤣😂 I truly don’t feel there’s anything taboo to talk about. And if we could help each other out, why not❤️😊
I love the bidet you made up! I was just telling my husband I’d like to find a collapsible bidet to keep in my purse or carryon. Perfect idea. Hope you don’t mind if I duplicate it for me. You are right. Once you use a bidet regularly, you miss it terribly when it’s not available.
Thank you so much 💕 w Absolutely hope you do copy this and have something to carry while you travel whether it’s just down the road or across the world! 😊❤️🙏
Quick tip: solid deodorants can be scooped out and put in much smaller containers with a screw down lid or the go tubb small. I use a spoon and smash the product into a smaller container. Just use fingertips to apply. Same with my favorite toothpaste which doesn’t come in travel size (use a go tubb small)Many surely know to cut bar soaps or shampoo bars with a sharp knife to take only what is needed. Love your videos, thank you.
Lol! Well, it’s taking a lot of travel for me to get to this point, but I’m so glad you did find my channel and are getting some great hacks! More hacks to come😊❤️
Thank you so much! Yes! The crackling of that tube just drove me crazy! Plus a little silicon one is so small and discreet. You can take it with you anywhere.😊❤️
@TheoryofSimple I'm going to get one of those silicone bottles. I have the sprayer attachment to put into the top of the bottle. I'd used the noisy option/water bottle and was happy to have it even though it was noisy. (You're right about bidets.) The silicone bottle will complete my kit! Thanks!
Long term travel..washing plug, line, folding hangers, washing sheets. Vitamins and powdered greens. Pop up bowl and cup. Plastic coated wire that can twist shut for creating a hook. (lighter than a hook). Small spoon and spork. (Fork snd spoon together). Snall plastic bags for emergiencies and wipes. Panty liners for the long trip flight. Dehyrated soup packet. Currently looking for a small kettle that has a usb. Love your channel 😂😊
Thank you! You have a great list and I love the idea about some wire except I have to make sure that it’ll fit over the door and I can get the door closed and it will be strong enough to hold my bag. Regarding the USB kettle I do have a USB powered water heating kettle that it doesn’t collapse and I’ll be showing that in a video soon.😊
Yes, you have covered just about everything! I have another travel essential I take when flying. I am very sensitive to odors. I bring a small bottle of lavender essential oil. So if I get seated next to a not-so-fragrant person I can put it into my face mask
Thank you so much! I absolutely love the idea with the lavender oil! Putting it in your face mask allows you to have some thing that makes you feel calm and relaxed, but doesn’t get in other peoples noses! Thank you so much for sharing that hack🙏❤️😊
Eunice, I just want to say thank you for all of your videos. I've watched almost all of them now! You are delightful and quite the packing magician! I've learned so much, and I've purchased so many of your recommendations. I'm going on my first international trip soon and I feel more confident and prepared because of your videos! It has really helped my travel anxiety. Thank you!!
Your comment just brought the biggest smile to my face! I’m so happy my videos are helping you prepare for your first international trip! 🥰💕😊Where are you headed?
@@TheoryofSimple To visit our daughter in London! She's lived there for two years and this is the first time we've been able to manage it! We're so excited and it's a complete surprise!
The supplement binder! I just got back from a 1 month trip. I used vitamin bottles, and 4 bottles fit inside of my shoes, but this would have been great to use! I’m going to buy for my next trip. Great tips!
What an awesome idea with the command hook! And the bidet will definitely be on my list. Few notes: I used to work in a hospital and there is a reason why you never have bar soaps there: bacteria can live in them forever. Gross. I see the point on avoiding the little bottles but it’s not worth the risk to your health. Plus combining both in a bag…I’m not so sure. I add a room refresher (the ones from Bath and Body Works are intense to say the least, so I spray them after using the bathroom or when leaving the room/airbnb for a better experience). Tips for making your room cozier: pack a faux flower and a little plastic vase or bottle. Add a light blanket. Essential oils and a humidifier like you do. A rechargeable fan. A small speaker for music (Target has good ones). I travel with kids so sometimes traveling feels more like work but these little touches make me feel relaxed.
Thank you so much for that hack on the soap! Really good information and appreciate you sharing that here! I guess I better go back to liquid soap! Also, thank you so much for the other great tips that help you feel more like you’re at home on these long travel adventures!🙏❤️😊
@@TheoryofSimple keep your soap dry between uses, don't share with others & only use a small amount. The important part of washing with soap is to rinse. Skin cells and moisture are what make soap a little petri dish. The motion of disrupting the cell membrane of bacteria is what is important. We all have bacteria on our bodies and they are important part of our ecosystem. Solid soap and liquid have the potential to grow harmful bacteria. I'm keeping my solid soap, in small amounts, for my personal use. ( 4+ decade career in pathology & my career was under the microscope) Long story short, I'm keeping and using my personal bar of soap. I also carry tea tree oil when I travel (anti fungal properties) and baby shampoo to wash my eyes
@@wandrousvindella716 thank you so much, Wanda! I guess I never really thought about it much like that and yes, I never share my soap! I love the idea of a baby soap for your eyes❤️😊 Thank you so much for sharing that hack.🙏
@@TheoryofSimple of course! I’m hooked to all your videos now that summer season is here. One more thing about bar soaps if you still want to use them: read about coliform bacteria on them. That’s what made opt for the liquid version. Those pesky things can live in them. Congrats on your channel! .
@@ALICIAMARTINEZ-wk1oz I’m definitely gonna look that up now! I remember as a kid, seeing bar soap sitting out and it would crack and have his black things and I always thought that was really weird. Now I know.!
Thanks, Eunice for the great ideas always. I appreciate you talking about delicate topics because we all have one thing or another. Some of my must haves and do's : Spray sunscreen for your back on the beach so you don't have to ask the towel guy to goop you up, Leave in conditioner in case you are in a location where hot water is scarce (like Peru or DR, you want to jump in/ jump out of the shower). If you take meds, always carry a supply for longer than you think you need because you never know if something could prevent your planned departure date (and band aids if you take blood thinners). We once had to stay extra days because it was snowing back home (airport was closed). Always keep your hard to replace things in your personal item. Don't wait until the last minute to pack / wash your clothes,. Once we had to unexpectedly leave for a trip a day early (a snowstorm was coming, our flight was cancelled, so we flew down south, where it wasn't snowing and connected to our destination the next day). I had to throw "whatever" in my suitcase, never made that mistake again. Always keep at least one outfit and a bathing suit/coverup (for beach vacay) in your personal item or carry on. My sister in law's luggage once went missing for several days . You want to at least be able to enjoy the beach/pool and go out to dinner. The coverup can double as a nightie. She and my sister now pack half and half in their suitcases, in case one suitcase goes missing, each person has at least a few items to use. Another thing we do is stay at a hotel close to the airport the night before an early morning flight so we don't have to stress over traffic (we once had car service from home that didn't show up, had to hail a cab that amazingly didn't have a GPS or EZ PASS, almost missed the flight). Most hotels have shuttles, and some offer low rates on leaving your car there during your trip. Happy, safe travels, everyone!
Thank you so much for all the great hacks! Really love that you shared this with this community! Whenever I used to travel with my ex husband and kids, we always put things up in a different suitcases just in case things got lost! 🙏❤️😊
Instead of black post-it notes try black gaffers tape. It will do a better job of covering and will not damage whatever it is stuck on. Also the gaffers tape can replace the painters tape. I carry a bit of both white and black gaffers tape with me always since there are tons of ways to use it.
"WOW" This has to be one of the best travel packing videos I have ever seen! You think as I do, always trying to get stuff lighter, smaller, and easier. I am going to revamp several of my little travel kits and follow some of your ideas. I like to put like stuff together like you do. I made a sewing kit with pre-threaded needles and buttons that fit into a plastic credit card sleeve. I do the same thing as you with a manicure kit. I also do all my own laundry, but I prefer the blow-up hangers to the folding ones, as I find the clothes dry faster and no humps on the shoulders. I take an "office" kit and an SD card "entertainment" kit. You have so many great ideas, thank you very much! Keep 'em coming.
Thank you so much! You have great ideas as well! I am going to try the blow up hangers! I have a small sewing kit it bring too! Rush you so much for sharing with us!💕😊
Some great ideas in this. Might have to get that humidifier! One thing related to the need that I take is a neti pot and salt sachets. Prefilled saline nose wash is one alternative I may use. Another item I take if I am checking a bag is dollar store foaming hand wash for the hotel room.
That Netty pot is a great idea especially in the winter months, but he might get a cold on the trip. It seems like a lot of times when I come home from a trip in the winter I end up sick so the Netty pot might help prevent that.❤️😊 the dollar store has a lot of great little things for bags like this, so I do recommend checking that store out. Thank you for sharing that.❤️😊
I love that you have so many things in your liquids bag. I appreciate the 20- and 30-something girlies who can get away with a bar of soap and lip gloss on a 3 month trip, but those of us who have been around a little longer have a few more needs for long term travel. I try to use solids as much as possible too, but sometimes I want my "lotions and potions". :-) Thanks for being real!
@@jen3892 thank you and yes, especially as I’ve gotten older and I’m using products like retinol’s and other serum’s you just can’t get those in a solid😊 I’ll have to do another video now that I’m using some really good stuff for my face and show you some of my favorite things that I use for travel.😊
Thank you so much! That little humidifier has made such a difference when I go up and visit my parents because it’s so dry and their area that my lips will be chapped every morning. Now I don’t have that problem.! 😊❤️
Eunice, THANKS for helping me complete 3/4 of my Christmas Shopping via your Amazon Store. I bought gifts for myself and my BFF of 20 years, plus stocking stuffers for both of us!
Thank you so much! It means the world to me that you are getting some great hacks and products from my videos! Truly appreciate you supporting me and my channel through your purchases as well🙏💕😍 I hope you have a wonderful holiday!❤️
These are genius ideas (black postit to hide a light - so handy when simply propping a book up won't do) and so many great gadgets. I have a pretty old rechargable motion-sensitive light too... great for getting up in the night!
You are right. Once you’ve had a bidet toilet you’ll never go another way. I’m 54 and have had one all my life. I was so happy when my first home when I married had one. I guess the years in college I was without.
@@TheoryofSimple absolutely. I was looking on your Amazon favorites, by the way good taste in pens. When in Japan I grab as many muji I can justify. But I was looking for the selfie light. I’d love to add that to my travel bag.
Genius! The command hook with the painters tape. Absolutely brilliant. The entire items is great. I immediately added it to my travel bag. I keep one packed so I dont have to waste time looking or repacking. Love your videos.
Thank you! Thank you!🩷 I’m so glad you got a great hack from this video for your next travel adventure. I have a thing about hooks and I honestly carry a couple of others when I’m doing longer-term travel and I’ll just have to do a whole video on the types of hooks that I carry with me.😊❤️
Love your videos!! I have watched some of them multiple times. I've even been able to purchase some of your recommendations (folding fans and backscratcher are just two of them). As a side note, just got back from a flight where I used your hack of hanging a small sling from the tray table to hold flight essentials. It Totally Worked!! It kept everything I needed (and what my husband needed) easily to hand without hauling out my much larger personal bag. Thank you for giving us such amazing content.
Thank you so much and I am so happy that my videos are giving you some great hacks for your travel adventures and thank you so much for letting me know that they actually work for someone other than me!😊💕
I bring an empty foaming hand soap pump bottle. When I get to hotel room I put a little squirt of shampoo or body wash into it then fill 2/3 with water. Now we don’t have slimy messy bar soap on the bathroom sink. Makes our stay do much more pleasant. When time to leave just dump it out and bring empty pump bottle back home. I make it this way basically all the time at home anyway. I love your painters tape and mini humidifier ideas!
You’re welcome!! I’m honored that an expert like you would try my idea!! If you travel with any aloe gel, at home I put a little squirt of that in first with a little hot water, swish it around to emulsify, then add the squirts of Castile soap and the water. The aloe makes the foaming soap moisturizing. But unless it’s a beach trip I don’t travel with aloe or Castile soap but the foaming soap I make with shampoo/body wash and water Is perfectly wonderful. Can’t wait to hear if you like doing this! Thank you again for your amazing channel!
I sure missed my bidet on my recent trip to NC. I have bidets at home and love them. I got food poisoning on my trip and wished for my bidet. I sure could have used a portable one, so Amazon shopping for me!
I’m so sorry you got food poisoning on that trip. That’s more common than we think and boy having a good day just to have things cleaned or to Sue with anything that could be not feeling good down. There is so important.! Happy shopping!
We camp for months at a time (in our fifth wheel) Yes it’s easy to carry everything you need but I like to carry my favorite blanket for reading on the couch, a few “real books, and music. when staying a hotel I like to take binder clips to hold the curtains shut.
I am also wanting to get at least a class B RV someday! It sounds like a wonderful adventure in that you’ve got everything dialed in! I use hair clips to hold curtains closed! 😊❤️
Thank you so much! I really don’t know why we get embarrassed about talking about these things when it’s something we all have to deal with at some point or another. Like my family says, “ Eunice will talk about anything “ 🤣😂
Hey Eunice! Even though a lot of these items dont pertain to me, I still really enjoy watching as I know you'll have something in there I haven't thought of. Those glow in the dark stickers are genius! I usually black out the lights with some gaffers tape wrapped around a thin aluminum card. And I always have at least a couple Rovyvon A5 rechargeable flashlights which are glow in the dark. They have a UV light to see (ahem) stains (blech) . They are the size of a pinky finger and I can see them at night. With their clip, they double as a 700 lumen headlamp. I hope you are doing great! 😊
Hi Brandon! Hope you are doing well! Thanks so much for your feedback! I love those little stickers because if there’s a blind corner where I’m going to the bathroom or coming back from the bathroom and it’s really dark, this will give me just a little bit ago so I don’t run into the corner of the wall! Just call me Grace🤣😂
I have a bidet at home in TWO bathrooms and miss it so much when I travel! Now I don’t have to! Also, it’s nice to see ideas that don’t forego all my specific hair products and creature comforts. At my age I take everything I need and like but you’ve helped me do the same in simpler ways! Thank you!
Hi Eunice. Such a great video and I must say I got a load of ideas for handy travel items from it!! The portable bidet is genius as are all the other dinky wee gadgets. I think my number one thing that I must always have with me when travelling, especially long haul flights, is panty liners! I also take with me a silk/satin pillowcase as otherwise my curly hair is an absolute birds nest in the morning!
Thanks for talking about the bidet. I have one that I travel with that is rechargeable and hooks to a water bottle. I also hate the sound of the water bottle so I'm now going to look for one like you showed. Yes a sensitive subject but I'm so glad you brought it up. After several back Surgeries my ability to bend was very compromised. The discovery of a bidet was marvelous. I bet many more who are overweight or have medical issues will get on board once they know about it.
@@skymomjune thank you and yes, I think it’s an important topic to talk about! I have a new one that I am trying now and I love it! It’s not the homemade one that I have here and it definitely works better! amzn.to/4hbldmi
Thank you for talking plainly about the Bidet. I get occasional hemorrhoids and when they are acting up it can ruin a trip. I also take the miniature size of Preparation H. When you need it you need it. Aloha
Hiker’s secret….Use a wool cloth for cleaning in your bidet kit. Wool will not smell, dry quickly and naturally anti microbial. I plan on using your wall storage hack from previous video
Thank you so much for the suggestion on the wool cloth! I know they make special cloths now for when you pee. What I like about the handy wipe is that if things aren’t quite as clean down there and you need to wash this out or throw it out, it’s not an expensive item and you can replace it easily.😊❤️
You have me at bidet! I have a hand spray. I prefer that over a fixed spray. Oh, how I wish I had this as a younger woman. That time of the month would have been so much cleaner.
It’s a great travel sack, right!! it’s a little bigger than the other one I had which is fine for me because now that I’m taking more skin care, this is working out perfect. I didn’t honestly know what to do with that little bag at first but when my slippers fit in and I said well, that’s what I’m using it for.!😂❤️
@@TheoryofSimple The little bag (I have a couple of them as I have this travel set and a couple of their compression cube sets) is also great for underwear, socks, camisoles, all the small things....love your videos and love the bidet kit - that will be coming with me from now on!
@@schoude52 I’m so glad you’re going to give a little travel, bidet hack a try! It really is a lifesaver when you just need to get a little bit cleaned up down there😂 let me know how you like it❤️😊
Another great video & more ideas to ponder over! I'm working on paring down the amounts of products I carry into smaller containers. You give so many great ideas. I'm never going to be a minimalist, but thanks to you I won't be a complete maximalist (is this a word?) either. 😆
Thank you so much 🙏Lol! Like I said, I’m not a Minimalist I just like to carry a lot of things minimally! Sometimes I don’t need something before am I really glad I have it when I do need it😊❤️🙏
So many fun things!!! You really know how to travel in comfort! How fun would it be to purchase one of these “kits” with everything so small and compact and neatly packaged! How fun!! Thanks for sharing!
Thank you so much and I have thought about that many times that it would be so nice to have a little kit that you could customize and they would just send it to you. Now that’s a business idea.💕😊
I take a little bit of Duct Tape. Incase luggage gets torn, sole of a shoe, etc. Chip clips can be used to keep curtains closed as well. Small thing of super glue.
Duct tape is a great idea! Super glue is another great idea especially if you break a nail and you just need to get it back in place! Thank you so much for sharing those ideas with us❤️😊
I take an old hotel key card that I forgot to return, on one end I put a bunch of clear duct tape, and on the other end, I put a bunch of blue painters, tape… They always come in handy!
Such good ideas here. That command hook idea blew my mind. The thing i always need is scissors. Ive had them taken away at tsa before but ive also been able to bring them plenty of times.
Thank you so much! I have some other hooks that I bring too! I should probably do a video on the importance of hooks! I’m at a hotel suite right now and there is not one hook in the whole place not even in the bathroom🤷♀️🧐 the scissors thing, it’s really up to each TSA agent, but if you look on the TSA approved things scissors are allowed as long as they are under a certain size from the hinge point😊
This video was chef’s kiss. A lot of very valuable content. I’ll rewatch it a few more times and try to incorporate some of the items. Thanks for addressing sensitive topics it’s impossible to find good advice on those.
Oh my. I'm new to your videos and I'm absolutely in love with this traveling one! Really brings out the ' Feminine side' Ahah, I'm totally adding some of these tips to my life You are amazing ❤
Thank you so much and I’m so happy you found my channel and are getting some great hacks for your travel adventures! I truly love doing the research and coming up with some great ideas for you so looking for your feedback on my other videos! 💕😊
I've been using the travel bidet for about15- 20 years now. I've been using a empty water bottle. Thank you for the idea of the silicone bottle! You don't have to get a water bottle before you use it! What a genius idea. It's always ready! Thank you so much! You are correct once you use a bidet you'll never go back!
I love all your videos Eunice. I have always been a thorough packer when it comes to toiletries and first aid, but I have learned so much from you about packing them into a smaller footprint. I used my LL Bean hanging organizer for many years, and it is great for including everything in one place, but it takes up nearly half my carry on!! I do still use it for road travel and my just-in-case motel bag, but I have learned to pack in smaller packages when travelling. You have taught me a lot about reducing the footprint. Toothpaste tabs instead of a tube of paste is brilliant! One thing I have started doing to lighten the load: I normally wear monthly lenses, but when travelling, I use dailies, so I don't need to schlepp lens cases and solutions. I like your itty bitty candles for ambiance, great idea (what, no barf bag LOL!)
Thank you so much, Jen! Regarding contact lenses, I used to hate dragging around boxes of contact lenses! I did get Lasix, which was great for a while until I got older, and now I have to wear readers🤓
I've used bidets in Italy, they are everywhere and I agree so much cleaner! There weren't fights about toilet paper during the pandemic :) It's a shower for your peri-anal area :)
Ohmygoodness! I’m so glad I came across your channel! I feel like you get me!!! I absolutely love your hacks! I too have come across a lot of travel channels but yours surpass them all! Thank you! Thank you! Thank you!!!!
Oh my gosh! Thank you so much!💕😊 I’m so glad you came across my channel and you are enjoying my travel hacks! I hope to be bringing more and look forward to your feedback! Thank you so much for taking the time to watch and comment🙏😊
I just did a month in Europe with just a carry on. Half the things I took I didn’t even use. That is a crazy amount of things to travel with although some good ideas.
Cortisone cream is great if you are having issues with the soaps on the bedsheets. Tweezers, along with my nail kit. Sunscreen chapstick, I’m very fair skinned. A microfiber bath towel that is easily foldable and stows easily in my toiletry bag. A life-straw, you never know about the water where you are.
I always enjoy your videos and new tips for traveling. On my last 2 week trip I would have been in big trouble without packing cubes. We moved from hotel to hotel and took several flights. My next trip needs to be another cruise! 😊
Yes! I carry a separate “kitchen in a bag” and what I bring changes depending on how long my trip is and where I’m going, but I have a video on that on my channel as well!
You have the best travel ideas! Love the one about the 3m hooks and painters tape...genius! Never would have thought about doing that. I always bring a bulky over-the-door hanger, but this will be much better. Thanks 😊.
Thank you so much! 😊💕 I used to bring that over the door hanger and then I found sometimes the doors would not close, so that’s when I switched to those command hooks!
I started using dry toothpaste tablets when I travel because heat or cold doesn’t damage them, they don’t need to be packed with liquids and they are light and easy to use.
Yes! I use them as well! Sometimes if I run out, I’ll dig through my sample toothpaste and drag a toothpaste tube with me, but most of the time I like, taking toothpaste tablets💕😊
Wow you travel with all kinds of unique stuff I've never thought of! The Special Comfort Items in particular blew my mind. Thanks for the great tips! Fantastic. I'm curious: if you were doing a long-term trip with carry-on luggage only, what items (other than the basic toiletries) would you consider "non-negotiable" - as in you always always travel with them?
So that is a loaded question and it really depends on where I’m staying, how long I’m staying and what other side trips I could be taking with me. But that does send me to a thought about doing a video on travel essentials I take with me no matter where I go and how long I stay. I have done six weeks and carry-on only on business trips, which is sometimes a little easier because I’m just wearing the same thing all the time and a lot of it was black. . However, when I’m traveling and mixing vacation and work or vacation it’s gets a little more complicated but I think that’s a great video to do.😊💕
@@TheoryofSimple Awesome! I'm glad I could give you a new video idea. Your video gave me the idea to turn on the camera and unpack my own toiletry bag - which in turn has some very different things to yours! (Though I consistently travel long-term with carry-on luggage only, so I don't have room for all the cool stuff you bring. I may choose a few though. Thanks for the inspiration!)
Great video! I particularly like the mini humidifier and the bidet kit. So clever. For me, traveling as light as possible is the most comfortable. But, there are a few items that I won't be without on long-term trips: my personal electric fan, a travel clothesline, and my bamboo cutlery set (that I'm thinking of trading in for a titanium spork!).
Thank you so much !🙏💕 Yes, it’s always good to know what are the things you cannot do without and that could be different for everybody. I always bring some sort of portable fan with me! At my age that can be the biggest comfort solution🤣 I keep a personal fan in my personal carry-on so that I have it to use on the plane which I have done several times ! I think that bamboo cutlery is good, but it doesn’t perform as well as the titanium and I like how the titanium one folds up and is really really small! 😊
Great video with great ideas! The bidet bit is brilliant! I grew up where a bidet is always part of every household bathroom. And it’s the one thing we miss the most when traveling abroad. I’ll definitely make one like yours. Thx for sharing!❤
Another WOW video! You've packed it full of ideas, just like you've packed your Mary Poppins toiletries bag full of necessities and niceties. I will have to watch this one again and take notes on what I'd like to add to my travel kit. I use the Magellan soap bag too. I cut a piece of soap and take the big sliver with me - it lasts so long! I have a tiny little soap rest that I keep in the bag as well, and it keeps my soap from getting mushy. I travel for shorter stays, and take just what I need: little bits and dabs of foundation and blusher in a contact lens case. Same with petroleum jelly and cuticle cream. Don't need much but it sure makes my skin feel nicer! I pre-cut my floss, keep in little ziplocks. Love the empty spray bottle too. I spritz my curly hair to give it a refresh. I also set aside my little toothpaste tubes and use them when I just need a few day's worth. Why drag a big tube? Gets you to rethink everything you carry... Thanks for all you do!
I always bring one of those cheap hangers with clips on the ends for drying underwear overnight. Or baby clothes hangers. Has always been handy. They come free with bras, etc. Takes up zero room.

The bidet idea is sheer genius. Anyone who has ever had Traveller’s Trots will instantly see the value of this.
Yep! Unfortunately, I had to experience that first hand! 😏
Oh my! You got me on that one! So happy to see you staying with me!😊❤️ live having you here🙏❤️
You got me too😂😂
Me also. everything Eunice shows us is so practical.

Thanks for the ideas! Thanks for sharing!💕😊

Bidet kit with the noise less silicone tube is a great idea for some discretion during personal time.

These are great suggestions! Thank you!
Are u engaged? &l love the pretty top u had on inthe bathroom ,yellowy n darker at bottom n on sleeves.also the personal bbits very handy, thank you
Instead of black post-it notes try black gaffers tape.

@@skymomjune thank you and yes, I think it’s an important topic to talk about! I have a new one that I am trying now and I love it! It’s not the homemade one that I have here and it definitely works better! amzn.to/4hbldmi
You had me at travel bidet! You are so right, once you’ve used one it’s difficult to go without.
@@donnaschindlbeck7457 right!! Once you bidet, hard to not!😊
Thank you for talking plainly about the Bidet. I get occasional hemorrhoids and when they are acting up it can ruin a trip. I also take the miniature size of Preparation H. When you need it you need it. Aloha
Thank you and you are welcome! I love talking about real life stuff 😊💕
Thank you! Yes! Having a bidet specially when younger would’ve made things a lot nicer😊💕
I have this set in pink and using the long bag for slippers is brilliant! I hadn't thought of that...thank you!
Sometimes I don’t need something before am I really glad I have it when I do need it😊❤️🙏
Fascinating video. You are so inventive! And I really like your honesty about the bidet, the moustache strips, etc.
Thank you! I love keeping it real! 💕😊
I am glad you talked about it! This is important to know another way to keep these items.
I’m so glad you’re getting some great hacks from this video to help you out on your next travel adventure❤️😊
You think of every little thing. I will definitely be taking a page from your book!
Thank you so much and I’m so happy you’re getting some great hacks for your next travel adventure💕❤️😊
I love how you make travel kits that are good and small! 🤩
@@jenxu2 thank you! I love the challenge of doing them and bringing them to you💕😊
Such good ideas here.
Thanks for talking about your travel bidet. Love the set up.
Thank you! I always wonder how people are gonna take it when I talk about things like this, but I’m trying to be real about things😊❤️
This video was chef’s kiss. A lot of very valuable content. I’ll rewatch it a few more times and try to incorporate some of the items. Thanks for addressing sensitive topics it’s impossible to find good advice on those.
Thank you so much!😊❤️ I’m happy you got some great hacks from it🙏
Thanks for talking about stuff like Hemmeroids!
@@karencutchey2905 yes! These are real life situations and if something works for me, I will share it!

' Feminine side' Ahah, I'm totally adding some of these tips to my life You are amazing ❤
Thank you so much and yes, I am so glad I don’t have to get a water bottle and I have that little bottle with me wherever I go💕😊
I am in love with that ity bity humidifier!!! also love the tips so much. what an excellent video! Always learn so much. Thank You.
Thank you, Julie! I love that humidifier!😊❤️
That’s great! I wish they were more common in the United States. ❤️😊
Ohmygoodness! I’m so glad I came across your channel! I feel like you get me!!! I absolutely love your hacks! I too have come across a lot of travel channels but yours surpass them all!

Wow! Good for you! Now you know what to eliminate to lighten your load for your next travel adventure!💕😊
Thanks for the hook hack with painter tape.
You are welcome 💕😊
Incredibly smart packing! Thank you very much! Will be hunting down these items.
Thank you so much and I hope you get some great items for your next travel adventure!😊💕
Took that travel bag on 3 week trip to UK. Can’t recommend enough. Of all of the things I purchased for my trip, this was the winner!
Yes! Thank you so much for letting me know that that worked well for you! 💕😊
I have the grey set from them and I love it! I use it all the time.
I have bought and tried several sets and this is my favorite!😊❤️
Cortisone cream is great if you are having issues with the soaps on the bedsheets. Tweezers, along with my nail kit. Sunscreen chapstick, I’m very fair skinned. A microfiber bath towel that is easily foldable and stows easily in my toiletry bag. A life-straw, you never know about the water where you are.
Great ideas and thank you so much for sharing this with us😊💕
Thank you for everything you have shared. I like your travel bidet hack, I'm going to give it a try
You are so welcome and please let me know how you like that little set for your travel bidet!😊❤️
I always enjoy your videos and new tips for traveling. On my last 2 week trip I would have been in big trouble without packing cubes. We moved from hotel to hotel and took several flights. My next trip needs to be another cruise! 😊
Thank you! I am so happy these hacks are helping you with your travel adventures 😊❤️
I have a expandable straw and cleaning brush and a spork both in my purse
Yes! I carry a separate “kitchen in a bag” and what I bring changes depending on how long my trip is and where I’m going, but I have a video on that on my channel as well!
@@TheoryofSimple ok I have these in my everyday purse I think in us they call it a pocket book
It's AMAZING what you can put into a bag!
@@AmberGarrett-py6ry they call me Mary Poppins 😂😊💕
You have the best travel ideas! Love the one about the 3m hooks and painters tape...genius! Never would have thought about doing that.
I always bring a bulky over-the-door hanger, but this will be much better. Thanks 😊.
Thank you so much! 😊💕 I used to bring that over the door hanger and then I found sometimes the doors would not close, so that’s when I switched to those command hooks!
Awesome as always 👏... As Asian I can understand that bidet thing 😀.. Command hook is also a new idea for me... 😊❤
Thank you so much and I’m so glad you got a new idea for your next travel adventure!❤️😊
For a bidet, just use a peri-care squeeze bottle
I have one of those as well, but what I like about the one that I have is it compact down so much smaller. 😊
@@NoraDunn I just realized you are a content Creator as well! We should do a collaborative video sometime😊💕 love your presentation and content!😊
@@TheoryofSimple FUN! Let's do it. :-)

Thanks for bidet tip. Not just for traveling.
Yes! It’s a lot cheaper than buying one of those the days that you put on your toilet😁
You’re just amazing Mam. So much minute detailing. ❤Thank you so much🙏🏻
Thank you so much 😊💕
This was a great video! Very helpful and informative. I plan to travel international in the near future and now know what I need to take. Thanks🙏

You’re very welcome and I’m glad you got a great few hacks from this video🙏💕😊
Travel w/ a command hook, … brilliant!
Thank you so much! I travel with a couple of different hooks, so maybe I should do a whole video on that😊
Great video!
Thank you so much !🙏💕
Yes, it’s always good to know what are the things you cannot do without and that could be different for everybody. 😊
@@TheoryofSimple Good to know! My brother has one and he loves it. I'll give it a try on my next trip.
As always thanks for the suggestions. Have already ordered several!! Will be ordering the teeth whitener kit soon 😊
You are welcome! 😊 thank you for supporting my channel🙏💕
Great video with great ideas! The bidet bit is brilliant! I grew up where a bidet is always part of every household bathroom. And it’s the one thing we miss the most when traveling abroad. I’ll definitely make one like yours. Thx for sharing!❤
You are very welcome and I’m so happy you liked this video and hack! 💕😊
Thank you so much, Colleen! 💕😊 We travel very much alike ❤️😊
I use bush flower essences travel essence. No jetlag 💖
@@Wyz369 oh I’ve never heard of that! I’ll have to look it up! Thank you so much for sharing💕😊
Also I take “Poo-porri ” spray for the bathroom. And Aloe Vera gel in little squeeze bottle for sunburn & as great moisturizer.
That’s a great suggestion! Thank you so much for sharing💕😊
I always bring one of those cheap hangers with clips on the ends for drying underwear overnight. Or baby clothes hangers. Has always been handy. They come free with bras, etc. Takes up zero room.
