Not only are you improving your mental health by having someone deep clean your house, you are providing employment for someone else, which is generous to both you and that person.

The timing of this is impeccable. I recently realized I have been burnt out for the past couple of years but due to me being highly functioning and performing, I had no idea.

My heart aches for you my sincere Aquarius, take a break. Take two months off, we’ll still be here to support and nurture you when you return.
    ❤️
You’ve been doing a lot of heavy lifting, and your ascension is evident; we are all growing higher because of it.
Thank you for all you do and for raising the vibration of our community💐

As someone who craved validation in a tangible way when I was younger like good grades and awards I feel like social media appeals to people like that because real life doesn’t give you a tangible indicator of performance or success. It’s so easy to get burnt out when you are constantly chasing the next goal though.

This resonates a lot with me, we’re in a similar position in that we’re the main product of our work, we ”sell ourselves”. I’m a freelancing fashion designer and it’s INCREDIBLY difficult not to put my self worth into what I make, and as you say: feel like I’m not selling my soul in the process. I’m so tired, and I feel cheated by the capitalist system everyday. All I want is to do good but that’s not even valued most of the time like profit is. ALSO: the red haiiirrrr😫😍

I realize I was burnt out when I was crying because I could not get time off work. I been working non stop since I graduated college in 2017 with no vacation besides Christmas because my jobs do not offer vacation and I cannot not afford not to work.. hopefully eventually I get to a place where I do not have to work so much to make ends meat

consider working abroad. work life balance in the US is trash. (if you live in the states) I’m a child of immigrant parents and one thing my mom said will always stay with me, she told me to widen my horizons and not work here because life will be repetitive and you will be slaving away trying to make ends meet. this is why as soon as I finish my degree I don’t plan to stay in north America.
I’m sending you all my love and good wishes. I pray your resume ends up in the hands of the right employers who will help you further your career and who will be graceful, kind, and generous with you. speaking it into existence!! < 333

Sending you lots of love, Amy. I am a 23 year old who felt super burned out after being a top student in high school, college, and then applying and getting into medical school. I refused to acknowledge how burned out I was, and it took a big hit on my mental health senior year of college. Taking a gap year before pursuing grad school gave me the time to rest, reflect, and reconnect with my life. Amy, you have been a source of light and inspiration for many people. You are so real and raw, and I'm so grateful to have found you. You deserve some good ol' soul-enriching rest.

I see you in a warm light I don’t think I will get bored just because give do makeup and talk I could literally watch you do that for hours. It’s that relaxing and helpful for me. I just wish whatever you are feeling will find it’s place soon and it will be just be. Sending you a very very hopeful mornings and a good nights of rest. You find your peace Amy we will still be here. And you are amazing so very amazing.

So refreshing to see a content creator being so honest and vulnerable with her community! Because of your videos I’ve learned to be more kinder and compassionate towards myself and take things slowly at a time. I could honestly say this video couldn’t have come at a more perfect time. As you’ve mentioned in your video yes, it’s important for you to take a break when needed and truly listen to your body when it needs a break. Thank you Amy ♥️

Planning to incorporate “work softer” into my intentions and to be more in tune with my mind, body and soul.
Mind: To create space for your thoughts and to sit with your ideas. To know you can be emotionally receptive and open while still being a boss.
Body: To truly love yourself, to be kind and to be compassionate with yourself.
Soul: To learn what motivates you, to listen to yourself, and to reflect on the shoulders you stand on.
Hoping that by practicing these intentions, that it will drive me to seek more transformative experiences and live a more sustainable life full of abundance. Listening to you talk is so calming and so real. We are all just souls in vessels on our own healing journeys. Burn out is real and even though I’m a new listener, you’re such a light and we want you here for a long time. 🤗 Thanks for making our days a little brighter.

This is so important!! Like literally i dont think I ever heard anyone talk about this, I mean bringing the DF into the workplace, and bringing in the soul, compassion, slowness and everything.. because I always doubted that to be succesfull and have lets say money, you have to throw everything else including your human nature out the window, let's change it, seriously.. thank you for this and I hope this meltdown/burn out period that you have is just there to show you that you can do better in your own way and people can follow you! thanks!

everything you said really resonates with me and cannot be seen as separate from this colonial/capitalist society we live in that forces us to value ourselves only through the lens of productivity and profit. I find engaging with community led mutual aid projects and initiatives helps me when i'm feeling burnt out and disconnected. They remind me that what's important is our community living in abundance and thriving, and working towards a society where we can all access this is what matters.

I cried yesterday, because for the first time I work with people (mostly women) that respect me, my feelings and are seeing me as a human, not just a worker🥺 they always say I don't have to apologize for anything, encourage me to speak up, ask gently and also say it is okay if I say "no" to a project if I'm feeling like I would overwork myself - they're showing me that a corporate job doesn't mean to burn out for the company.

THANK YOU for this video!! I've never related to anything more..i do OF (please no judgement anyone) and it gets so old. the posting, content creation, hundreds of messages/emails everyday, social media, doing my makeup, setting up lighting/cameras..an when i take a day off i always always feel like im losing people and not staying relevant and it causes so much stress i cant even enjoy my time off. im always thinking about the messages piling up the longer i wait and i spend hours responding to them when im online. it really is a hamster wheel with no downtime and i've always been such a spiritual person before social media but now i cant even meditate like i used to. thank you. i need to ground myself so bad and get back into breathwork and not care what people think because my time is more important than others' satisfaction.

💯 Feeling extremely burnt out from the start of the year -- with no proper vacation/rest and increasing demand at work. Also self-doubt and the impostor syndrome kicked in so bad. On top of that, the guilt, because so many lost their job. 🥵 Worse, I got really sick because of the stress. But yeah, I feel you. I'm still figuring things out how to make my situation better and hopefully this pandemic will end soon. xx

I'm sorry, but I gotta leave a long comment bc there's too much to say! First of all, thank you for your sincere honesty and vulnerability. What you did to deserve this community was be yourself and work as hard as you've described - we are simply mirrors of you. 💙 I resonated with nearly everything you said.
If there's anything I've learned about burnout over the last 6 months is that it catches up with you. And however long you burned out for will take even longer to recover from. I spent months last year outputting content online without even thinking twice about receiving. I hit a point like you now, where I just needed to *surrender,* take months off of social media, contain my energy, and focus on myself - only being receptive and passive, letting things come to me on their own time instead of *always* forcing, connecting to my divine feminine energy, and trusting in the process.
In this time, I read a book called Mysteries of the Dark Moon by Demetra George which is entirely about the divine and repressed feminine, its history over the last 40,000 years compared to patriarchy, the lunar cycle and dark goddesses, the misperception of the dark feminine, and how we can all heal - all genders. It was written in 1992 but is incredibly relevant. It's definitely a dark material, shadow work type of book with journal questions, but it has changed my perspective on *everything.* Not exaggerating! I hope you or whoever reads this checks it out and we can collectively heal the feminine energy in this world that is so desperately needed.
Bless the Goddess within all of us and let her darkness heal us no matter how painful, we are not alone 🖤

Im in the exact same boat. Have immigrant parents who did everything themselves, so I always feel guilty about outsourcing anything or even spending a little more on "luxury" things that I can afford now. On one hand, its great to have a frugal mindset, on the other hand, I cant get out of the scarcity mindset. I have more than I ever had, make more than I ever did and still feel like its not enough. When I was making less, I had less of a focus on my spending because it "didnt matter." But now there's so many things I have to budget for like retirement that the goal is always moving and I feel like itll never be enough.

Oh Amy, you are so harsh on yourself. And I know it, because I do it to myself as well. I am somewhere in between- I am a child, and now a grownup, who is always doing too much to make others feel good, but I am also an immigrant-mother who is paving the way for her daughter's future. So, thank you for sharing your true-self, it helps me relate better to the both sides of my story- the past and the arriving part of it. Thank you Amy, what you discussed about growing up with your moms success and her sacrifices for that role really resonated for me and has had so much to do with the way I burn myself out

Oh Amy, this is the most real, the most deep and the most beautiful I have ever seen you. Yes, you need to put your own mask on first before you can help a sister out! Get that souls rest and know that it will all work out the way it's supposed to, in its own divine time. You're on the right path, and remember it is messy in the middle but at the other side of that is liberation and a clear view. You-re a blessing to us all Amy, take good care sister 🌹💕

this timing is incredible. i've been coming to so many realizations lately and i feel the axels of my mind shifting so deeply especially when it comes to getting in touch with vulnerability, the divine feminine, etc. and i just want to thank you for creating and being!!
edit: i also just relate to you so much and i want you to know that what you give is enough. just what you've done for me already and how you've helped me to grow over the past year that i've been subscribed to you is incredible i really am so grateful to have discovered you. & i hope you find peace x
ok final edit!! you asked what you did to deserve this, and you existed. let me reiterate how much you've helped me! i'm a lot younger than you but i've learned so so much from you and i see myself reflected in you which is a beautiful thing. ok thank you. thank you.

The part where you spoke about giving being an energy exchange spoke to me 🥺 I am a giving person and I am so tired of giving pieces of myself to people who will gladly take but not reciprocate.

Thank you for sharing your energy on the internet. I really appreciate how vulnerable you are, and you are such an inspiration for me. Love you so much and wishing you peace, rest, and happiness 💗 Also, not sure if this needs to be said, but I will be here, subscribed and supporting, as long as you're here--doesnt matter if you take a break or anything else. Please do what is best for you and your mental/emotional/spiritual health and self.

I strongly believe that there are ways in which you can live your dreams and serve your purpose that don't require you to overwork yourself. You will find these ways I am sure. I hope you are not to hard on yourself until then. Love you and will stay here to support you no matter how much time you take off ❤❤❤
