Excellent Ryan.. I couldn't believe the amount of corrosion on that Transit and your comment about it being a common issue. I owned a Mk l & later a Mk ll 35 cwt twin back wheel Transits back in the early 70's and late 80's.. Originally made in Langley and later Southampton, but long ago moved to Europe. Both mine were great vans and never had enough rust to fail an MOT or loose an earth.
hah... Small world. Recently lost a work phone on this end, too. Somewhere between hotel and home it disappeared into the aether. Glad you're otherwise well!
Great work as always mate 👏👏, quick question if thats ok , 2002 vw t4 battery drains after about 3 days , put a meter on it and shows nothing draining, someone said to disconnect alternator and see what happens , could the alternator be the cause of the drain please? Cheers 👍
Is there any reason you put your meter in series to test for a parasitic draw rather than using an amp clamp? Don't get me wrong I've always done it the same but I remember getting a big no no from a main dealer just because of obviously disconnecting and reconnecting the battery

What would you have seen if you performed a voltage drop on the ground side? Would that be a valid test?

Back up your phone daily. You can choose what date to backup. iPhone and Google have this buried in the options.
What are you using for " messages" ?
