You saved me! I wasn't exactly sure how to get the calibration correct but got it right after following your instructions. I can have my lattes again. Thanks for the clear and concise video!
Did everything according to steps from this video 3 times for last several months. Everything great. For me, 7 clicks needed on assembly. I tried multiple other videos, never got 0. Thanks!
Finally a proper explanation. I really like how accurate you are and how organized the whole process looks like. This is really everything you need to know in one video. Thumbs up and thank you!
I am so glad it was of help to you. I actually made two videos on this grinder, the first being using it at different settings for different coffee machines. Thank you so much for watching
I was a bit worried about picking up this grinder because of the cleaning and getting the dial back to 0 but this video makes it seem pretty simple! Ill be picking one of these up. Thank you!
Hello Pascal, That you gave your grinder a nice clean. Yes, it was a deep clean. You made the original settings again. It's a skill demanding job. Congratulations. See you. Greetings. Take care, my friend.
Hello Pascal, Eden and the lovely Ciara🍀 Thank you so much for another great video about the "1Zpresso JX-Pro - Disassembly, Cleaning & Calibration.". Full support for your fantastic channel ... God bless you and your loved ones/Ned 💖🙏🏻💖
These are precision well made grinders. I have reviewed the cheaper ones on my 'boopolo' channel. A huge difference in every way. Thankyou for watching
Thanks! that is, you do a complete disassembly, cleaning and calibration of the coffee grinder after about a kilogram of ground coffee beans? if I want to grind in jezva, what are the features?
Thank you for watching, and I am glad you enjoyed. I am not an expert on Turkish coffee, but this grinder goes a lot finer than espresso. The grinder itself I reviewed here: th-cam.com/video/FcGZyQO7i90/w-d-xo.html
Hello! I have a problem with my coffee grinder. I own a 1zpresso jx-pro grinder. I disassembled it for cleaning and after that I began to jam the adjusting dial with numbers when tightening it clockwise. If you press the drill while rotating, then everything becomes normal (while you hold the drill). Carving and everything else intact. I don't understand why this happened. Maybe you have experienced something similar? Thank you!
Yes. I clean mine with it regularly, but most coffee drinkers do not have a compressor. It is nice to disassemble every now and again as well. Thank you for watching.
I disassembled all the parts of the grinder but the grinder was stuck, like it was stuck at level 12 that I use for espresso. I disassembled it many times but this is the first time it has happened to me, can someone help me? thank you
followed your instruction,s very clear. However after reassemblying...the grinder doesn't grind anymore! grains are not "suck" into the grinds :/ I'm surely missing something but I don't see the point (after closing the ring, the grinder doesn't turn - which is ok- I release the ring with the numbers and...it doesn't grind)
@@IrishChippy thx...just made a really silly mistake : the espresso setting is 2-3...not 1 ;) so basically I was grinding too fine and the coffee beans didn't catch up!
I've watched 3 other JX Pro calibration videos and the most helpful was yours. Thank you!
I am glad it was of help to you. Thank you for watching

This was by far the best instructions i've seen for this, excellent done! Needs more likes to surpass the one with the wd40 nonsense.
Ah .. Thank you so much. Yes I cringe every time I think of that video she made

Thank you Mehmet. I haven't been on youtube for some time. I will catch up with you later. I hope all is good.

Hi there Ned. Thank you. I hope you are all well there.
@@IrishChippy Thanks my dear Pascal for your kind words and for your friendly concern. We are Ok, you take care and have a fabulous day/Ned🌷🙌🌹
Great clear video. Thank you! I'm so gladf about the 'no lubrication' bit.
Haha. I was shocked when I saw a video where they used WD40. Thank you for watching. I also did a full review of this grinder on this channel
I hope you keep making videos! I really appreciate your content! 🤗
Thank you very much for watching.
Thank you Sir for simple and clear tutorial.
Im plan to buy a jx pro or the newer
j max.

Thanks for the trick with calibration. Was driving me crazy. For me it was 2 turns so maybe it’s slightly different based on the manufacturing run
Glad it helped and thank you for watching
Very informative video, thank you! Why didn't you take off the bigger burr? You also can unscrew it clockwise
Yes, you can remove that also.
Yes, and it will be much easier to clean this way

Thank you, sir! when you calibrate to zero, the handle of the coffee grinder does not spin at all, or does it spin but very hard?
I advise not to spin it at zero. Open out slightly
This was very helpful. Thank you!
Thank you for watching
Why not take out the bottom burr as well for easier cleaning, which is also reverse threaded?
Yes you can remove that end, but there is no need as it is easy to clean in place. Thank you for watching.

If it began to jam, you should not use a drill on it. Try to dissemble and re assemble again

that's what i mean
Hello. Can you please tell me how many bearings this coffee grinder has?
Two bearings as you can see in the video. We do not remove the main bearing
@@IrishChippyThank you.
Hello Pascal, do you think it's okay to use a compressed air can to clean this grinder?
Yes. I clean mine with it regularly, but most coffee drinkers do not have a compressor. It is nice to disassemble every now and again as well. Thank you for watching.
Thank you!

Without actually seeing the problem, I do not think anybody can help you. Try taking it apart again and follow the video carefully to reassemble

no lubrication and don't wash it
Certainly not the latter. Thank you for watching
