@ Dani - if you are really allergic, that's a different story. But how can you be allergic to chunks of mushrooms and not little pieces of mushrooms? If you are really allergic, I am happy to do what I can for you.
That really depends on where you live. At least in the US, not every state allows employers to include tips in the minimum wage. My state waiters make a wage (usually decent) and tips are on top of that wage.
Its funny how everyone who says this has never had to try and pay the bills on an unemployment check. A job you hate is better then no job. bottomline.
They are doing it wrong...when they order ranch sauce you grin and say "I'll be right back with that"....and then bring them ranch dressing. They will not know the fucking difference.
Not so, I have been in the business for years and the highest paycheck I have ever seen (mine or any other server I have ever known) was 2.30..... So absolutely not, the prices might be high to cover overhead or to pay the members of the staff that do not rely ENTIRELY on tips. 10% is okay at waffle house... nowhere else, it's just makes the server wonder what they did wrong/pissed off at you (hence these amazing videos). 18% is pretty standard.
Talks about how her money pays their salary, and yet she wants things discounted and even free. Also I'm willing to bet she's a welfare queen, in that case it's the government's money, not hers, and it's them paying her salary, not the other way around.
Since this is one of the best of the batch I needed ask here; What tip percentage rate is Generally accepted? I use a 10% rule and have for quite some time. The service personnel have it rough and make inadequate pay. I also consider the price of the meal. Yes it's been fun making light of morons but not all are. Restaurants charge high prices, It can be expected some of the cost covers wages. Is this not so?
"Although I find it objectionable to warm the bread between my thighs, fortunately my coworkers do not."- LMAO!!!
That's fucking funny.
Artichoke peas!!!!!!! I was crying with laughter at that... "oh God, we have another one"
"lady are you serious?"
Ahh the standard Karen.
I'm glad that I'm NOT one of those dumb, stupid customers
@daniyellowjello Its no problem as long as you're polite. Many people dont realize that we are servers and not servents. and we also have souls.
im a server and i get this always i love it

I'm allergic usually means I really don't like it in the restaurant business.

Most restaurants offer several soups on their menu in addition to a "special" soup of the day.
dafuq is ranch sauce?
It's like Ranch Dressing, but for dipping.
SOME restaurants offer more than one soup. Mine doesn't.
I feel like I shouldn't even go out to eat because I know waiters hate it when I ask for replacements on account of my allergies.
ye it is so stop whining.
If you hate ur job leave ......bottomline .
Or customers should stop being entitled selfish morons.
