Hey this Jackson from Hilton head wine and spirits shop wanted to personally thank you for stopping by our store I’ve been really big into bourbon for some time now and I’ve had plenty of help exploring more depths into the bourbons we as a store really appreciate the exposure for all who want to come and visit the island and stop by our store much appreciated 🙏🏻🙌🏻🥃

I feel old. To me that song was Vicki Lawrence. Reba was just some remake along with a ton of others. I had no idea they still play other versions besides the Lawrence one.
Speaking of starters, I wasnt really an alcohol drinker, let alone a bourbon one, but I won my state lottery and was able to buy a Pappy 10 year old at state price of $54. thats how I got my introduction to Bourbon.
I know you gave the gentleman a Pappy out of the goodness of your heart. And you are correct that we all need ed tondo something positive in this world. People will ridicule him for picking up Penelope over Pappy but what you did is a class act. Because of that gesture you will hit millions subscribers in no time. God bless you and Jill and the whole team BREWZLE!!! It’s too bad I am in Canada but I always enjoy watching your content.
Eastern NC here and brand new to Bourbon hunting and the bug bit me hard 2 weeks ago. . scouting a store in Goldsboro today, I talked a while with a fellow shopper named Rick. It didn’t take long before he asked me if I’ve seen Brewzle’s videos. Oh yes! Instant friendship with a commonality of the Brewzle bond. Rick knows Bourbon and put me into some good buys in the store. I was a kid and high school in the 80’s.. back before I actually listened to the words of Reba’s song…. Too funny. She couldn’t squeeze in that confession .. probably busy bourbon shopping.
another awesome video by TJ. His easy going demeanor make his videos such a joy to watch. Not to mention, all the background information I learn on new bourbons to try.
They did change the label on Maker's 46! I did a tour there for a bachelor party back in March, and they told us that they changed the label at the request of bartenders who kept accidentally grabbing 46 instead of regular Maker's because the labels looked so similar. So they said they went with the red one to make it easier to pick out in a busy bar
The Live bottle you passed on was probably a gem. As I was told by a store owner who had a barrel himself and sold a bottle of it to me, its the Stagg mash bill given to the Firefly facility and finished again for a period of time. The Firefly facility has an amphitheater where they hold live music events and a special bottle of the Live is sold for each event. The one I have is a vanilla bomb.
Lol benchmark SiB 55 crazy. I get mark ups on allocated stuff, you see that all the time. I once saw a traveler about a month ago marked up to 120. I laughed and immediately walked out.
I laughed at the Ancient Ancient Age next to the Jack 10 in Roller’s #2. Yes, 2 equal bourbons in price and quality. Also, I’m with the guide! I actually like Traveller! Yes, it’s not complex, but it’s an easy sipper neat and goes well as a mixer as well.
Love your videos, especially the hunts and collaborations that you do with Spillway! I don't even drink bourbon and I love your videos. They always cheer up my day!
Southern Spirits just outside of Charlotte on the SC side does the 5 second game in an allocation closet. The liquor store, not the distillery in Statesville, NC.
Just getting into whiskey not made by Jack or Jim. Went on my first “bourbon hunt” last week. Goal was simply to find a Buffalo Trace ($23)Store has a monthly lottery; $50 1 ticket, $100 3 tickets. So based your top 10 B-team video, found Jill’s #2 Old Forester 1920 ($64). Added Benchmark Full Proof ($26). Of the items winners could choose, I was eyeing the EHTaylor Barrel for $110. Three other items I didn’t know anything about. Then I saw your video on the state lottery drop Will won 3rd in. Turns out I got drawn 1st and scored Old Forester 2023 Birthday Bourbon $140. Thanks for all the information in your videos. Loving the channel.
It’s crazy because I can get the whole benchmark line around me for around $20 each. They have the jd barrel proofs everywhere for msrp. Blows my mind when I see some things on these videos lol
I'm paying around 22 to 29 on the benchmark single barrel, floor proof, etc. I'm going to my first lottery this coming Monday and Tuesday I'm super excited!!! I can't wait for the experience.
Love that you not only left the store that had the $54 benchmarks, but you also skipped the next store they owned 💪. Last week at a liquor store outside Gatlinburg TN I saw a Weller Special Reserve priced at $119.00. I left without cussing anyone.
I love Noah's Mill great flavor and high proof. You never reach for it or talk about it. Pretty sure is a Willet product .But in the $60 price range is so good.

We had spent the 4th in Hilton Head the previous two years (went to Hawaii this year, though) and the first stop is where I have always went due to the proximity to our condo.
Glad to see you picked up that Vesey's. I had a store pick of it from Coosaw Wine & Spirits in N. Charleston, and it was very good. Maybe you can do some hunting in Upstate SC in the future.
TJ..I was just in Memphis and visited Old Dominick. I got a bottle of their single barrel and it is fantastic. John at the sample bar is a really nice guy. We were talking and I ask him if Brewzle had been there. He said yes and that you was a great fun guy. Sorry I missed you, hopefully see you in my hometown of Louisville.
The allocation here in SC is terrible, made more frustrating by the number of folks with too much time & money on their hands... so I gave that fight up years ago (if it's hyped, hunted and allocated, then I'm probably not interested) and shifted my focus to smaller/craft distilleries. There's still some fun in the hunt, especially with lower distribution, but less competition!
I live in Vallejo where Savage & Cooke is made and it is indeed their own distillate and they are now also farming their own grains locally also. Great pick up for the price but the wine cask finishes definitely not for everybody. Had some custom blends from them that are absolutely delicious. 16:04
Just left Hilton Head this morning and was in Island Liquors on Monday. When I walked in I saw they had a bottle of Basil Hayden 10yr behind counter on top shelf for $140. Immediately knew prices were jacked up…
Hey TJ, if anyone ever offers you a pour of Highland Park Cask Strength, give it a try. I found Heavy Bourbon influences on the front of the palate and the quintessential Highland park notes show up near the end. It is mildly peated though so take this advice with a grain of salt if you hate the peat. My friends and I blinded the Cask, 12, 15, and 18 and I fell in love with how unique their cask strength offering was.
Savage & Cooke is pretty solid. I love wine and the creator made some bangin' wines with Prisoner and Orin Swift and cashed out from both those brands and got into the Savage & Cooke. There's a wine from Orin Swift called 8 Years in the Desert and it's called that bc he sold Prisoner wine co. and entered a non-compete to not make another zinfandel for 8yrs then made that wine. Awesome story and cab sauv finish bourbons hit a nice place on the palate for me. Anyway, please stop by my stores in Columbia, SC Brewzle!!! Love your vids and got some cool stuff to show ya.
If you see TN distillate on a bottle its more than likely from TDG. Dickel really doesn't source out that much. TDG makes a ton of of whiskey. They just dont disclose it to the public.
WOW 😮! At the 15:33 point in the video is great product placement or marketing strategy by someone! Look in background and how she looks over before that and makes sure that she will be in shot being recorded! Bravo to her or your marketing team! Which you don’t have! I don’t think……😂🥃

As a member of Hilton Head 17 years thanks for bringing a fun spin to the tourist side.
Watching this while eating lunch, been hunting for bourbon all morning and loading up on OGD 114 .👍🥃😉
The Reba story at the end was hilarious. I thought you were going to go into a story about Bourbon and then it was just about Reba's song lyrics lol
Vicki Lawrence (of Carol Burnett Show and Mama's Family fame) sang Night the Lights Went Out first in early 1970s
That first guy had such a bubbly personality 😂😂😂
"All the bars and restaurants get the good stuff" Welcome to SC!

46 used to be in a much better bottle! Never mind the label.

I grew up going to HHI every summer, it's beautiful and the liquor stores are decent. But a nice pour over ice on the beach can't be beat.
Brewzle has REALLY stepped up my bourbon game!
Your rant on Reba is hilarious!
WHAT you are in my hometown! Oh my God, I am so jealous. I wish I was home.
Lucked out at Total Wine this week with a Stagg 23C @ MSRP! The bourbon gods are shining down.
That is an EXPENSIVE Benchmark!
Just in time for my lunch break shoutout to brewzle!!!
Watching TJ bourbon hunt is my favorite thing to watch. Keep it up buddy
Regular woodford definitely makes great old fashions
Loved this bourbon hunt. My favorite part was when you talked about the Reba song, you had me rolling🤣🤣🤣.

It’s to me, so much worse than marking up allocated bottles. You can literally go anywhere and get those for half that lol
Yea I get it at home for $18-$22
Born and raised on HHI, wish I knew you were here so I could’ve showed had a drink with you!
Thanks for the HHI tour, my mom lives in Sea Pines and I usually grab a liter of the blue label Early Times for my visit
