I own El Gordo's Bloody Mary and red beer mix out of Las Cruces NM. We make our mix with famous Hatch NM red chili. Hit me up if you want to try it, and I'll ship you some out. Would love to hear your professional opinion of our product. Mixes well with vodka, tequila, or just beer.
I loved this! You got on a livestream that I was on with Sean and Rusty and it was so much fun to just chat and be a part of the fun even though we weren’t there. Thanks for the kindness and giving us your time! Cheers! 🥃
Brewzle you definitely have some clout. Over the last year you blew up more that anyone in the bourbon field. It obvious you and the team have done such a great job. I keep seeing other tubers trying to do exactly what you do and everything that they do reminds me of everything you’ve done. The Inspiration is real keep up the great work tj.
Brewzle is just a likeable dude. He's not arrogant or annoying and he is genuinely having fun. Overall a positive and informative guy. Unfortunately, a lot of other youtube burbon hunters just give off arrogant vibes or can come off as annoying
This was my favorite video of yours. Totally felt like I was along for the ride sharing in the experience. Really glad that TH-cam recommended your channel to me. I can live vicariously through your videos.
We were in Leeds Alabama Large lot, ABC employees and supervisor came out and took pictures hung out around the fire. We werem1 and 2 in walk-up. Thursday Night about 10 people , Friday Morning about 16. Friday at about noon 20-30 people, by 6-7pm 60 or so, At 6 am Saturday morning 132. 3 campers, 4-5 fire pits tons of bottles and a great time. Like you said tailgating is the best part of it. "I enjoy what happens around the bottle as much as whats in the bottle!!" Great new friends made this year!
So how does the walk up line work when you show up 2 days before the drop? Yall keep a list of people yourself and all come together when the abc store employees start giving out numbers for the walk up line?
All I can drink now is Wild Turkey 101 and mix with sprite! My glencarins were broke in the move…..! You sir are bringing me and others so much joy through your channel!👍
I think this was your best video I've seen. Really enjoy seeing the camaraderie hang outs, the spirit of sharing everybody had. And am especially envious of the opportunity you guys have to score so many hard to get items at MSRP. I was starring at those booths drooling, wishing I could grab a Rock Hill Farms or Michters 10!
It’s so funny, the ladies working the tables don’t seem to care about the fact that they’re handing out some of the best whiskey in the world. Just another work day for them hahahaha Great video though. The tailgating looked amazing!!
Well yeah, it is just another day for them lol,. Idk about best whiskey in the world, rare doesnt in any way mean better it just depends on preference and whos buying
It really just boils down to who you are really. It can be with anything. I used to work at a gun shop and we’d get objectively something cool in and some people would come in hot and bothered. Even got called out “You don’t think this is cool.?!” Well, it is, but I see this everyday lol
This reminds me of camping out for concert tickets in the late 1970's and early 80's. Only difference was, we weren't sharing bourbon in line...if you get my drift ; ). The fact that you're hanging out with strangers that you know have a a shared interest is what makes this so much fun. I'm not sure how willing I'd be to do this in my late 60's. It was great to see your experience, thanks for sharing.
Great content and thanks for taking us along. Not much I'd camp for, but given what you have to pick from AFTER table 1, Yeah i'd put in a night of tailgating and bourbon sharing for those @ MSRP. In Tampa you'll find: Blantons >$150 Eagle Rare >$75 Stagg >$300 EHT SmallBatch >$140 EHT Single >$320 Rock Hill haven't seen but 1 bottle on a guys shelf not for sale Willett purple top doesn't seem to exist Weller is unobtanium without connections with ABC (not Alabama's version) And unless its a Total Wine select or Lukens reserve pick theres not many store picks.
Luekens for me here but for the most part pickin's are slim in Florida or I was just over-pampered in Illinois living near a Binny's! Cheers from the Keys!
Yeah we have some independents that get allocated but their markup is so ridiculous, or old timers have already fostered the relationships needed to gain access. I really wanna just do a bourbon vaca in Kentucky and Tenn and blow 2 years' worth of budget cause Florida be stoopid. Harder to justify with little ones these days
I absolutely love your content, energy and mindset. I hadn't drank bourbon in 20 plus years and within two weeks of regularly watching your channel im collecting bourbons to drink again. Thank you please keep the good work up sir....
This was an awesome event from start to finish, this has changed my mind when it comes to seeing people wait in long lines for days at a time. Keep putting out the best content when it comes to Bourbon.
TJ this was such a great video, and it looked like such a great time. You didn’t sleep and gave considered reviews after all those pours. I’d have slept for about 18 hours after half of those.
I’ve recently quit drinking due to health reasons and a promise to a dear friend that recently passed but watching your content honestly warms my heart
It was probably 4 years ago when I was in Bardstown Ky. at saw some people at the hotel breakfast. Later while on some distillery tours I ran into the same people and we started talking. They were with a Bourbon Society and they invited me to their bottle share at the hotel patio shelter. I had seen them there the past night. I went and it was one of the best nights I ever had.
sitting outside for 24 hours just to get an EH Taylor is craaaazzzzzy! I would rather pay a secondary price and have it shipped to my door. although I truly understand the commoderie you get in line while waiting. I woke up and sat in line at 4am for 5hrs to get a Parkers Heritage and JD special reserve. would do it again !
I dont really get the guys mentality on that one. Its an eh taylor small batch, its a completely average $45 bottle of whiskey, id just grab a wt 101 and call it a day

i love this type of video hanging out with some guys and drinking some fine whiskey 🥃 i’m not much of a drinker much at all but your videos are so entertaining. keep it up brew!
I like the idea of hanging out with good people but I love having the ability to casually walk into a store and find a great bourbon on the shelf when a store drops it. I’ve only had a Texas experience but I’ve grabbed a Hardins Creek Boston and Four Roses SB Store Pick by just finding them on a casual store visit and was fortunate it was when they had a drop.
Yeah...I wish in Michigan we had these as well. You're guaranteed to get good bottles for the right price...just depends on when you want to show up! You don't need to do any loyalty programs...you don't need to know someone, you don't need to build any connections to any stores....just show up and pick!
Honestly I rather wait in line for 24 hours to have a great chance at a couple of rare bottles than hope to get super super lucky and find something at MSRP in store or get even luckier and win one of the occasional store lottos with horrible odds. Here in Chicagoland we usually have to buy bottles to even get into the lotto and finding stuff in stores requires lots of time and driving or really good connections. Loved this video showing all the great people you meet and everyone enjoying being together even without the sleep. May sound crazy because it is about bourbon but we need more things to bring people together and fellowship considering all the negative things in the world today.
Camped out for 5 days at a local bourbon drop and had an absolute blast. Annual release that a group of us camp out at every year. Scored a pappy 15 and a lot more
My liquor store in my town has some very unique bourbons that they acquire by traveling to physical distilleries and pick up entire barrels as well as exclusive batches. It’s pretty rad

Just bought my first bottle of Eagle Rare thanks to your videos…and for retail at a local liquor store in western NC! Here’s to the start of an expensive hobby
In Ohio near the Michigan line we have an absolute blast and then we all meet for breakfast afterwards or people bring breakfast burritos and we make them up right there just a real good time with real good people and like you say in the end we all get a bottle always have had good times with good people and living on the Michigan Ohio border is a pretty blessed place for bourbon hunting
That cask strength bowman that did a lottery this year and you have to pick it up at the distillery. I live near there so I'm always in the lottery but I havent been selected yet.
Tom, you look like you enjoyed yourself at the tailgate bottle swap. I know I would have. I have been in line at B.T. for their daily release several times, and just talking to other people in line. I would have loved to try some of those bourbon. One bright note, I got the last bottle of Weller 107 sat. at the alloted release at my store.
Wish we had lottery here. But honestly I do ok just stopping in liquor stores. Got blantons, er10, mckenna10, eht bib, kc12. But bottles like GTS, 107 and the like are near unicorns.
To me the difference between the cinnamon from amburana and the cinnamon on some rye mashbill bourbon is simply this - Amburana tastes like cinnamon sugar or cinnamon toast crunch. The cinnamon note that rye can impart is more like cinnamon spiced tea or "spiced" anything. The cinnamon from Amburana also just over powers everything. I've put 1 oz of RD1 Amburana into a 750ml bourbon infinity bottle and every sip was still heavily cinnamon toast crunch. It just attacked the palate immediately and it's so sweet it buries all other tasting notes - for me at least.
I wouldn’t do it so there’s no chance of asking my wife. My wife is great about picking up bottles but having her wait in line would cost more than the bottle would be worth, LOL! That Parker’s 10 year rye is delicious!
Nice, I’ll be interested in your take on it. I picked it up and it gives me a weird finish. I really don’t know if it’s a positive or negative one. Definitely a unique bottle in my opinion.
This video made me go check what batch My Russel's 13 is that I got at Black Friday and haven't cracked yet. Glad to see it's batch 5 based on the reaction here.
I found a shop yesterday with some Blantons for 140. Eagle rare for 90 and EH Taylor for 120 and I didn't have the funds to pick it up. Broke my little heart, love the vids man. Got me into collecting more
Wow Alabama lets you get more than 1 bottle. I do the Virginia ABC drops. They only allow 1 bottle ler customer per store. So you have to wait in line grab a bottle then run to next store and pray. Last drop i was 40th in line and all the stagg and Taylor went first. Got a bookers story teller. Went to 2 other stores and almost sold out.
This is an intersting looking expereince we dont have anything like this in Australia and it seems weird our liquore stores just go through disteibutors i guess they purchese shat they can get from them but but this limited supply seems weird

lol love the thumbnail. Whoever is making these deserves a raise
Lots of good bourbon outside Kentucky.
Love the content. It's always worth conversation and alcohol, and hanging out with like folks. Keep it coming.
Awesome video. Love the camping out for bottles experience. More videos like these are welcomed.
That really looked like fun. Would love to find something like that going on here in California. Never heard about or seen anything like it.
Damn I've been subbed since 1k now you are almost at 1M. Congratulations Brewz.
I’ve got the southern star paragon and I love it I get a nutty or peanut butter on the finish which I dig
That's a haul worth camping for, to be that late in line and still get that much heat is crazy.
I wouldn’t do it so there’s no chance of asking my wife. My wife is great about picking up bottles but having her wait in line would cost more than the bottle would be worth, LOL!
That Parker’s 10 year rye is delicious!
Going back to pies and pints after that advertisement. Dropping the name. Can’t go wrong with beer, root beer and black bean/pine and swine. 😊
I wish I lived closer to you, that looks like a great time!! Tailgating with bourbon, cigars and smoked meat is my kind of thing 😂
I camped 20 hours for a GTS. Didn't regret a minute and would do it again!
Thanks for this content, it's entertaining and informative. Wanted to stand in line at the Huntsville one but got some slim Pickens a week later
Great videos! Waiting for the day I run into you hunting around Columbus! Haha
Would love to hear more about what you think about Smooth Ambler!
One of the great bourbon hunting videos of all time.
How do you like the toasted barrel proof rye mitchers?
Trying it on the stream Monday for the first time
Nice, I’ll be interested in your take on it.
Just guys being dudes. Absolutely loved this video. I know absolutely nothing about whiskey, but love this channel.
I got a Thomas Handy yesterday in northern Kentucky
I found a shop yesterday with some Blantons for 140. Eagle rare for 90 and EH Taylor for 120 and I didn't have the funds to pick it up. Broke my little heart, love the vids man. Got me into collecting more
Where do you live my dude?
I mean those prices are all extremely high, id tell you to wait anyway
@@richarddowswell264 Florida
@LeatherDaddy97 yeah that's fair, my first time seeing them all in one place so the excitement made the prices not seem as bad at they were.
@@FreeCarnageYT hey few things worse than you getting all excited, overspending then getting home and not being happy with your purchase
I worked at bowman for 2 years and I'm in line for batch 3 for the cast strength
I love you man. Hope to have some of these bottles some day . Today it's just some Jack Daniel's Bottled in bond 100proof
Jack bonded is still good whiskey
Just picked up the Found North Batch 008. 18-26 Year Old Canadian Whisky.
The Found North bottle you tried, did that happen to be a store pick from Julio's in MA? I have a bottle of exact specs sitting next to me lol.
Now I want to go get in line at one of the local store drops to see what the atmosphere is like.
You must have the most subscribers than any Whiskey TH-cam channel, you are The King!!
We just recently passed the biggest channel. Thanks! I'm the Tater King.
This is an intersting looking expereince we dont have anything like this in Australia and it seems weird our liquore stores just go through disteibutors i guess they purchese shat they can get from them but but this limited supply seems weird
EH Taylor Small Batch is like $90 on secondary, not $200. Even single barrel is around $175 on secondary.
Great video! Looks like an awesome experience with some awesome bottles at the end. Cheers 🥃
