Some of my favorite Brewzle videos are when TJ runs into a whiskey fan and has a genuine conversation with them. The buying is not the selling point of these videos. It’s the knowledge and southern hospitality that I’m here for.
$150 for a marked up Stagg is not bad from what I've seen in various places. Most I've seen are around $250-$300. But I've heard that's been coming down.
Yeah from a shop that’s really not bad at all. That’s standard secondary around NWFL. I do wonder if they ever sell at MSRP there though which is around 55-70 bux depending on store, location, etc.
Good gracious Stagg and every btl. like it NEEDS TO 😢 drop in $$$-- the distillers use the- same- stinking-- ingredients, ppl!! It's a wooden barrel, rye, water, grains of their choice, 🌾 wheat and whatever tickles their fancy Drives me nuts!🤨🤯👺👽
I absolutely love watching your videos for the hunt! The way you interact with store employees and customers is what makes your content so engaging and educational. It’s not just about the bottles you purchase, but the journey and the stories you uncover along the way. The hunt is what keeps me coming back for more. Keep up the great work-huge fan here!
yes, it's just as fun to watch you hunt for thing & not buy vs when you buy things. UNLESS its an amazing price. just show the shelves and talk about the prices and what you find. I love to see what stores you go to rather you buy something or not.
I’d say, most people are more interested in what you find.. especially the difference of pricing from state to state & city to city.. good work Brewzle💪🏼🥃
Buy or not, I watch for recommendations on what to try if I see at my local store along with prices for comparison. Always cool to see that allocated stuff, but most times, they are unobtanium for most casual bourbon enthusiasts.
I went to Brody’s in December and bought a 7 year Old Elk Lucious Venison store pick bundled with Stagg 23B. Both bottles for under $200 total. Was the cherry on top of my vacation!
Just moved to Florida a few months ago. Not that far from St. Augustine actually. I followed your TikTok not that long ago too and then stumbled upon this vid. Super solid content. Going to watch more
If you don’t find good bottles/value, I’d prefer the honest reaction rather than buying at a premium to please viewers. I may be in the minority, but most of why I watch is to learn about picks for value rather than rarity.
Great to see you hunting in my neck of the woods! The last golden ox is my go to, Drew is super nice and has such a great selection. I was able to get the Michters Toasted Rye from them after seeing your initial review. Keep the videos coming!
All that Buffalo Trace makes my mouth water!!You made me pick up a single barrel buffalo trace Sazerac barrel pick for my first bottle of bourbon. Hard to find here in CT!!! :)
@Brewzle I watch these hunts because I value your opinion on what bourbons are worth searching for and what value it becomes worth it to pull the trigger. You buying it personally basically sets that second point in stone.
I love your hunting videos and value your opinions on what to buy at certain price points. I enjoy the "hunt" more than what you end up buying. I always learn something watching your videos.
I like watching the whiskey hunting videos to give me more knowledge on everything. Here in Canada our stores don’t have the selection like you guys get in the states so it’s cool to get the information.
Just bought my first 4 Roses barrel strength (also in Florida), and I really enjoy it. I'm from TX and haven't seen them in Dallas since January and been hunting it hard. It's the OBSQ. Can't wait to try some others.
For things you’re missing: those Wild Turkey SiBs are great value if you can find a Camp Nelson (CN), but most are Tyrone (TY), so it never hurts to check!
Getting into bourbon because of this channel! I thought I would hate bourbon cause I tried makers mark and really did not like it, (way too much bubble gum), but than in a hunch bought some woodford double oaked, and loved it. I just got a Russel's reserve single barrel at 110 proof and I'm a big fan of that too!
Keep your hunting videos as is. They are perfect & I think it's good that you buy stuff that you may need & only if it's a good price. Other TH-camr's do hunts & rarely buy stuff, if ever. There's a reason you're @ 600k+ subscribers & other are only a few K. Love that you do so many states, you helped me out in WI a few months back!!!
Just by listening to you talking into bourbon language for me and telling me story's about how is made and the taste notes and all that, i love that a lot, i am drinking in my mind and taste what you describe mentally, i don't need to drink it, i feel it. Keep on doing what you do and we will keep on watching you. If i visit Alabama i will love to meet you and go for a sipping run of smooth bourbons.
Just got back from St. Augustine. Loved PJs. The staff was super nice and helpful. I grabbed a Larceny BP B523. Riverton was across the street. Grabbed a Blue Note Juke Joint store pick.
So wild to see you go to some stores i frequent. 2 of which i go to really often. Would have been pumped if i ran into you. I hope you're enjoying the hunt and time here.
Very enjoyable as always seeing all the bourbons we don't get to see here in Australia and yep that Jimmy red was a very interesting nice looking bottle ..cheers TJ keep up the good work 😉🥃🙏
Just picked up a Jack Daniels Single Barrel Barrel Proof at 128.5 proof and a Jack Daniels Single Barrel Barrel Proof Rye at 136.4 proof based on your praise in various videos. Can't wait to sip on them both!
I think seeing you buy something gives more credibility, knowing its actually something you felt was worth paying for to try. Its easy to say "I WOULD buy that" knowing it doesnt actually affect your pocket. As far as content im sure were all still watching but for people wanting to emulate these hunts and experience new things seeing what you buy gives those bottles alot of credit for sure.
Just picked up a 4 Roses private barrel from Golden Ox - Palencia after seeing it there on your video. Pretty cool to have you a mile from my house and visit my favorite store. Cheers!
KY Owl 10 was Dixon last Bourbon batch, I had Batch 9, Top 5 fav all time, 10 is pretty damn good too. Had Dixon sign bottle 10 at Whiskey Wkn batch 3 🥃🥃
I know your not a single malt fan!! But i have to tell you Westward American single malts are absolutely amazing! They are a bourbon drinkers single malt. Im not a huge fan of the Single malts either but there whiskey is absolutely amazing. Such great light fruit notes like peaches and apricots along with the traditional bourbon notes. I love the cask strength and the pinot noir finish. If you cab find a single barrel cask strength those are also incredible
I'm always interested in the prices of the bourbon and what you find. I understand on the budget and your budget is bigger than mine. So if you buy the bourbon or leave it on the shelf that's completely up to you! Keep the videos coming!
Goodnight Bourbon is absolutely fantastic! Charles Goodnight is a famous cattleman and Texas Ranger from the panhandle of Texas. I believe you would really like that one TJ
I personally enjoy the finding it aspect and I only really enjoy when you are buying something you really want for yourself. Its your journey we are just along for the ride.
1.) Sagamore is hands down one of my favorite bottles of all time. Good double oak pick. 2.) I like it the way it is now. with your judgement bourbon hunting. I like looking at what other stores have and I like seeing what you find interesting. Ain’t always gotta buy something. 3.) I forgot what store it was but I saw a blackened ft willet that looked very interesting
I just like seeing what’s in the shelves in other states and what their prices are. It scratches the itch without me going out blowing my own budget to see what’s out there 😂
Hunting videos always good to see and hear alternatives. Still need to find my first Staggs but recently found a spot loaded with Weller Antique 107 for $100. Save gas and time.
Another excellent hunting video! I don’t care if you don’t purchase something, but viewers like to hear what you feel people should try and when bottles are priced right. Also, your camera resolution is spot on. Have you upgraded your camera?
Some of those bottles at the first shores have been sitting there for years, they probably still have a Blanton's SP in the back if you ask for it...but you have to buy another bottle with it for 100.
I got a bottle of that St Augustine The Saint while down there for $200. I've really enjoyed it so far. Probably not $200 good, but the bottle looks really cool in the collection.
Sunglasses and a Bluetooth in every store is wild work. Is he your Florida tour guide or your body guard 😂
I’m probably a little of both😂
Trucker vibes. Can't trust anyone wearing that combo and just for men dye hahaha.

Cheech is a great guy and a very knowledgeable whiskey aficionado.
Cheech is an American legend and once pulled me from a deflating kiddy pool. Owe that man a lot
He's the coolest guide yet. Sometimes he gets some boring people
Agreed. Hunt, don't need to buy because some stores are just ridiculous on marking their prices.
Brewzle is the Oprah of whiskey! Love how generous he is!

Westward cask strength that you passed on is absolutely amazing. American Single Malt, but no maltiness on it whatsoever
I’m drinking a Westward CS store pick right now and it’s peach cobbler heaven.
New oak

Picked up the Valencia at PJ's. Thanks for everything you do for the community. I definitely enjoy your content.
My son likes Old Fashions, so I bought a bottle of St Augustine The Saint when I was in Florida. He really likes it.
Jim Beam 7 black is great for the price. Definitely recommend. Just picked up a 1.75L bottle of it here in Washington, DC for $36.

@@Dragon_Spirits Yes it's the Kentucky Spirit. I had to go to the liquor cabinet and look. 😂😂
