    Yes, my extrovert husband has a lot of friends. He comes home talking all loud on the phone and stays on it for almost an hour. Sometimes when I open the front door I hear his voice talking at someone down the street.(He likes talking to the neighbors.) He also goes to the markets almost every day. Sometimes several places to look for a good deal. We have a lot of food in our home.

    The absolute worst thing about dating/being married to an extrovert, apart from them wanting to go out and socialize is that they engage in small talk with EVERYONE and you’re stuck there either seeming rude for not engaging or engaging in a bunch of small talk you never wanted to enter.
    I’d say that for an introvert with strong Fe, the extrovert partner acts as more of a magnet and less of a shield to small talk.

    • @igot7problemsbutyougotnojams
      @igot7problemsbutyougotnojams 2 ปีที่แล้ว +21

      I’m an INFP dating an ENTJ and this is exactly how I feel, I think cases like this is where opposites attract. Before I met my current partner the ppl I was with were all introverts; very indecisive like myself and a lot of them would hardly ever commit to doing things and I believe it’s out of comfort of doing what you’re used to. The person I’m dating now is the exact opposite of that, he already has a plan and if he doesn’t he’ll make one. He knows exactly what he wants and if he’s put in a situation where he has to learn something new he’ll do it even if that means relearning everything to understand it because it’ll help him progress further. He’s like if I want you in my life you’ll know and I definitely feel that unlike with people I’ve previously dated. From the start he asked me how I see us in the future and told me where he’d like us to be, it was something so simple but you hardly see that anymore.

    • @igot7problemsbutyougotnojams
      @igot7problemsbutyougotnojams 2 ปีที่แล้ว +13

      Another great thing about him is that he wants to talk if something is wrong and fix it immediately. Yesterday he apologized to me because he realized he has been a bit distant from constantly trying to solve various problems that’s been appearing in his life. I’ve noticed that ENTJ’s like to solve problems when it happens and it’s not just theirs, it’s everyone’s. It’s to the point where they put the weight of their loved ones on their shoulders alone and won’t let anyone in for the sake of staying strong. It was making me very anxious because in response he was quiet very and exhausted. I could see that he was having a hard time but when I tried to help I was in the dark so I couldn’t do anything to help him. I’m glad that when we finally did talk he instantly realized the issue. It was only really a week of less communication and time together but he immediately adjusted his actions to make things better while still trying handle his business now with me by his side to do it. We agreed that he would vent to me and I would lend a shoulder (which ik was hard for him). I’ve never really gotten an apology like that from anyone in my life in general so it’s a trait that I love and appreciate, I hope that things only get better from here.

      I wouldn't mind being in a relationship with an ENFP because honestly they don't take life too seriously and it makes me feel relaxed to be around them. Also they have almost the same wild imagination an INFP would so it would be so much fun. But being in a relationship with an introvert doesn't sound too bad either. It sounds comfortable and calm and if I were to choose an introvert I would choose an ISFJ because they're literally the nicest people alive. And INFJs too.

      Yeah I'm an INFP and my last relationship was with an INTJ and one of the reasons it didn't work was I had to be the extrovert in the relationship and it was exhausting. I need a partner who can be my social shield so I can actually socialize without feeling on the verge of a panic attack the whole time, I cannot BE that shield for someone else.

    This is funny, for me relationships are about communication. Make it clear to your partner what it is you want and how you can reciprocate their needs. It's called "getting to know each other" for a reason. If you're not comfortable going to live concerts tell your partner and maybe suggest something else you can do together(besides sex).

    • @helenwood8482
      @helenwood8482 2 ปีที่แล้ว +10

      How do you communicate with someone whose entire personality is opposed to yours in every conceivable way? These people invite others to call them. They attend parties by choice. They talk to other passengers on trains. There's no reasoning with them.

    • @summerrose8110
      @summerrose8110 2 ปีที่แล้ว +5

      @@helenwood8482 I disagree with that. This is why communication is important. I believe that opposites attract for a reason. If I had a boyfriend, I would tell him what I like and don't like and he should communicate that too. I'm not a relationship connoisseur, this is just what I think. Relationships are about compromise, find a middle ground. Also that "reasoning" doesn't sound like a good term to me. You don't want to force someone to change who they are, just understand them a bit more. I think that all people want just to be heard and understood, but that's how I think you don't have to listen to me. I'm just sharing my thoughts.

Everyone gathered outside and started talking about where we should go eat when it was already like 8:30 at night. As we all stood there figuring it out, they said we'll meet up at a ramen place over a mile away. I agreed, but soon as we separated, i went to my car and simply drove home.
