“If emotions were people”
So basically me?
I love your humour! You get me laughing all the time! Thank you so much!
@@Ralphlovesanddoesballet thats a big compliment but ok
The ellipses 😂
"My twin brother, he's high all the time" I'M DEADDDD 😂😂😂😂😂
I just got that pun, thanks lol.
Same
HAHAHAHA
That was clever.
Ohhhh, just got that! Ahahaha!
"You're bad at your job but still objectively underpaid. Period." Hilarious fr 😂😂
I've always seen people talking about reading comments as they hear it, but it actually just happened. So weird
@@YourDadWithTheMilk304
Woa cool, glad I unintentionally made you experience that haha.
@@YourDadWithTheMilk304It's a weird phenomenon that everyone experiences at some point. It happened to me quite a few times.
I was gonna point that out 😂
Us- How creative you want to be?
Frank - yes
"I sound like an introduce to a Mr Beast video." I love this video, all of the jokes were hilarious.
thanks!
HahahahahahahahHahahHah
Why have I seen you so many times in comment sections??? Idk how I remember you too but I see you so much
Even on videos from a few years ago
*introduction
The brackets part was just amazing
You mean parentheses? Brackets are like [ ]
@@davidt01 Most non-Americans call parentheses brackets. And yes, the parentheses parts were just amazing. Frank looking at himself...
@@DavidPlassI'm non American but nobody here calls that brackets
I call it brackets too - parentheses sounds scary, idk 😅 also on things I've missed and use all the time - is this bad boy 😄😄
Agreed loved the parentheses
Don't you mean,
'Let's eat, boys'?
You heard me😂😂
COMMAS, SAVE LIVES
@@CAPSLOCKPUNDIT CSL wait no, i mean. C,SL
There's nothing more satisfying than seeing a sentence and discerning that a semicolon would be PERFECT there. You really do feel...very........smart!
I'm addicted to semicolons; it's a problem.
@@matthewmitchell3457 bruh; You better fix that
@@Pharaoh_Tutankhamen Umm, acshully, 🤓 that's not the correct usage.
@@matthewmitchell3457 dat asumes Im tryin' 2 b grammicly correct
@@Pharaoh_Tutankhamen oh jeez, ummm, you know what, i'll just not, kay? (shit, im a () and , person, whhhhhhhy? oh and ?s. cool.)
That apostrophe's part was just amazing.
Yeah, the comma’s twin brother. He’s high all the time. 🤣
K‘k write: id‘ve asked for s‘more mon‘ in ma‘ sal‘ but ya‘ll‘re mad intimidatin‘ it‘s a g‘d‘ea
There's no apostrophe in "apostrophes."
This is me every time I send a message. Periods sound cold and formal, exclamation marks sound too excited.
Definitely agreed. 100%
The parenthesis was my favorite part lol
These just keep getting more and more creative and I love it😭
As an English major, this skit made my day. I'm a bit of a weirdo, in the sense that I love English grammar and punctuation a little too much. Thank you, Frank!
As someone who corrects everyone, I understand and respect your strange obsession with punctuation.
Oh I understand that. Very random, but when I was 18 I wrote an essay with 1000 words in school and I only had one mistake and that was a , too much. Sry I needed to flex with that because it's otherwise very unnecessary by now.
(By the way, I'm German, that essay was in German. If I made any mistakes in this comment, it's because English is not my 1. language)
This was beyond witty. I loved the music choice for each character 😂😂
Top ten best quotes: “oh crapdoodle” Napoleon was really ahead of his time with that one
Nice. 🍨
THAT SOURCE CONTAINS LAYERS.
Napoleon 😂
@@ConnanTheCivilized whaaaaaat? does that 'moji exist? hmm 🍨 woooooah... noice😎
Frank, you never run out of ideas for skits. My favourite was definitely Brackets chiming in sporadically to add his two cents.
Every aside in brackets took me out 😂
The people do, in fact, love it 👏
LOL the parentheses keeping it real with his brutally honest observations and the ellipsis being kind of a creepy weirdo, and the comma saying (about the apostrophe): My twin brother is high all the time hahahhaha (I see what you did there) 😂💀. Brilliant FJ! You have a neverending supply of hilarious creativity ✨️⭐️
I think that the apostrophe is possessed.
Semicolon usage isn't just sophisticated; it's a superpower.
maybe i should using them. um how exactly are they used? i normally use these guys ----> , soooo (btw! look! ()>,
@@NotSimplyLily7Use a semicolon somewhere you’re supposed to use a period but don’t want to. For example “I got a new dog. He’s super friendly” could become “I got a new dog; he’s super friendly.” However, you can only use it once per sentence. If you’ve already connected two separate sentences using a semicolon, it’s time to use a period and start a new one.
@@NotSimplyLily7 Semicolons are used between two independent clauses that are clearly related ideas instead of a conjunction with a comma.
@@hunterlawrence3573 noice, thanks for replying to me about the same thing twice in the same video
@@NotSimplyLily7 Oh, um, the reply on that other thread wasn't directed at you specifically, but you're welcome. Glad I could help.
As a writer, I find this incredibly funny. As a German... too. It's a cliché that we sound aggressive, emotionless or cold. (This was already the case with the Lufthansa example recently) We are the nation of poets and thinkers!!!!!! 🤣 We are really nice and humorous people; Maybe you just met the wrong Germans. 😇🥰
Hum ... now I need a quote so that I have included as many punctuation marks as possible... "Even the stones placed in one's path can be made into something beautiful" (J. W. v. Goethe)
Laughs and Hugs from Germany
Yeah I heard the Danes actually fit that stereotype much more. As an INTJ, I get the impression Id fit in much better there than here in USA 😂
@@HeyItsQuayshawn Yeah, I hear that a lot about people in Scandinavia. Some people even say that about themselves. But I like Scandinavia and as an INFJ I think I would fit in there well... if it wasn't dark all winter... But all the people I met in Sweden and Finland were also very warmhearted and nice but also reserved. ☺😀 So...Such places sound very tempting to us introverts.
Ive seen more side eyes than smiles there
Reading this in a bad German accent makes it even funnier 😭🤣
yes..?
That's basically the conversation I have in my head each time I start writing any type of message... yup even this one, as simple as it probably reads 😅
I feel sorry for you and relate at the same time.
Frank: Oh yeah make a video with a bunch of punctuation jokes people will love it.
Me: Heck yeah we will 😂😂
The "..." was pretty hilarious!
It was my favorite part 😂
Love the way the brackets lean in and add context
they say a punctuation mark's come to town; they call him mr. frank james
Dude never runs out of ideas💡😂
....and people did love it....🤣
I never associated apostrophe with casual talk and ellipses with innuendo until now and I can’t stop laughing at it
Ahaha, laughed hard at the German part. Indeed, our writing is direct and to the point. I like it that way.
“People will love it.” Don’t underestimate how nerdy we can be! These jokes are funny! 😂
We do love it (or, at least I do)!! LOL HIlarious! Uh oh, I'm using too many of something; perhaps I should stop. I loved Period and Apostrophe. Also, Parentheses was/were cute popping in. Great sketch!😂🙌
Forward slash made a cameo!
You are so ridiculously talented and hilarious.
As an editor, I very much appreciated this 😂
Soending 5 hours on an email snd only having half a sentence is so relatable 😭
"Oh, crapdoodle."
"Is that also a famous quote?"
"Yes, Napoleon said it at Waterloo."
As a history buff, I find this extremely funny.
You really beat Pixar in the whole "give random things some emotions"
You can even make punctuation funny! Pure gold.
I love Exclamation Point's wig. Fits with his character. Or maybe I should say, "I love Exclamation Point's wig! It fits with his character!"
This is one of my favorite concepts I have ever seen a video about I love it.
I'm convinced you're the most creative youtuber because it's always something I don't expect 😅
But it always works and end up being amazing 👍
Lovely - will use this in (Swedish) class tomorrow with my students - never has inter-punctuation been explained better 👏
As always, the hair choices were so fitting for each character. 😂
So question mark is just your anxiety?
Please keep these "If ______ were people' videos coming!! I LOVE THEM! 😊
😂 You are so creative and funny! Thank you for the laughs.
Yes, we do love it Frank!!!!
That was great and now I am scared to use any punctuation marks lol Thanks for sharing
Holy shit, this guy's creativity is godly
I love this so much! There is nothing more satisfying than really good punctuation. Okay, that’s not true. A good book, a good vacation, a long talk about something philosophical, and a few other things. But you get the point! ☺️
1:44 "he's high all the time" is actually very funny
Quotation Marks (" "): Quotation Marks would be a master impressionist, effortlessly mimicking the voices of others. It loves to play dress-up with words, adding emphasis and clarity to speech.
"If you don't use me, you are going to come across cold, emotionless, and/or German" 😂 actually lol'ed for that one!
The ellipsis being super ominous was my favorite part!
This is a favorite. I absolutely love the way you have personified punctuation marks! "..." is the best, lol!
Wake up y'all frank uploaded!!!!
This was spot on though! The ellipses had me laughing so hard.
“Cold, emotionless, and/or German” 💀
Dude ur videos are sooooo funny and relatable 😂😂
These personalities are perfect. Or should I say perfect? No, they’re perfect!
I honestly can't think of anyone else who excels at making such videos better than you. Keep it up Frank James
" mon' in my sal' "
Thank you, Frank James, I will now proceed to change my entire dialect just so I can talk like Apostrophe. It's beautiful.
I love that the brackets () appears randomly and speaks facts or inner thoughts, making the use of a bracket lol it made my day
Really well thought out and delivered, Frank!
Inspires me to direct my craziness in a creatively fun way 😁
0:43 "If you don't use !, you're gonna come across cold and emotionless and / or german"
It's actually funny because I (as a German) was thinking like "do I even use ! in e-mails at all? Is that a thing ppl do? Doesn't it seem rude and loud screaming?"
(I guess sometimes I use it in e-mails but only if it's a bit more casual)
So need the smiles that this creative Frank did today!
One of the many brilliant ones!!!
Brilliant.
Well…this is…brilliant…
Brill’ Bro’
/ as a person: “I’m too cowardly/scared for this problem/situation! If only I had acquaintances/friends/brothers/siblings to gaslight/gatekeep me!”
English major here. This might be one of my favorite videos you've made yet!
Parenthesis is correct; you don't know how to use the semicolon. ;)
I love the overthinking at the end like an INFJ. I’m the same way 😂
So, fun fact. When I did international business, the Germans had the most exclamation points in the emails. They seemed very chipper and excited about the weather! 😂
The French had fewer exclamation points, and I found out from my tutor when I studied French that unlike the Germans and English speakers, French speakers see exclamation points as expressing anger or annoyance. They see periods as calm. So I always take out ALL the exclamation points in messages and comments to French people.
It had never occurred to me to think of punctuation as communication in that way differentiated by language up until that point.
Iove how every punctuation mark’s subtitles end with their punctuation mark
I love how all the punctuation use themself only in the subtitles
As a teacher, this is a good video for when the kids are studying punctuation marks. Just solved the problem of explaining them in a fun way! 😂
“Then I end up sounding like the beginning of a Mr Beast video.” 😂😂😂
Also, loved the way the parenthesis appeared. And ellipsis saying, “If you know what I mean….” What a great skit, my man. 😂
"You are bad at your job, but still objectively underpaid."
-Frank James
Nahhh Frank ! You're so creative 😲🔥
"Just leaving the room would be super helpful"😂😂
I loved how the background music changed for every punctuation mark, so hilarious 😂
Also, Germans actually use exclamation marks... maybe... sometimes (yeah they totally do!)
I love how parentheses is just in the background. (I am always in the background)
The apostrophe was the best part 😂😂
Bro just dropped the most fire Grammarly add and thought we wouldn’t notice 🔥🔥
Wow, this is a brilliant sketch! Period.
The intensity of ''This calls for nuance and subtlety!'' is brilliant! 😂 I love that so much lol 😄 ''it shouldn't take more than five minutes'' and then getting upset five hours later when there's only half a sentence done is a bit too accurate 😅 I really like how you turn around to look at Parentheses leaning in too lol, and the pep talk from Period aww lol. ''It's a g'd'ea'' 🙈😂 the little head wiggle at his brother 😄
I knew I was using the ellipsis badly lol, but I'm not going to be able to forget the creepy version now lol. Loved the video 😊
This is so funny. Thankyou Franks for making an entire video on punctuation jokes. You pick out the most unusal topics to joke about and we love it 😂❤
Such a cool idea for a video! Loved it!
the bracket guy is definitely the most relatable
So good! Hilarious! Relatable!!! I use exclamation marks so much!!!
"Well done job Frank,...people ganna love it!". It's cute! Wish you good luck on your new venture. 🧡
I love the way the sounds in the background add the right mood and the ease with which you can add personality to any unlived object. I love your videos!!
This was hilarous and witty. One of your best, Frank.
"Napoleon said it at Waterloo ..." 😄😄😄😄😄😄
As an editor I love it. It was hilarious. I like how Ellipsis is personified as a creepy/suspicious guy. 😆😆
This person . . .DID love it!!!! Made me: blow my tea out my nose, cough like a blee ( What"s a blee? The ultimate of anything is a "blee") and rewatch several parts; also shared and hit like.
The bit with the parentheses is everything lmao
You've got crazy ideas xD
He's high all the time is brilliant. Elipses... so mysterious and ominous..
AMAZING AND CREATIVE CONTENT!!!
1:45 the laugh track was the cherry on top lmao
The parentheses coming in mid-sentence was genius.
"Let's eat boys." Lmao, I'm dead.💀😂
Honestly one of your BEST in this series! ❤😂
People...DO...love it, man!
The "he doesn't" in parenthesis was perfect
