3:25 I appreciate these explainers of Military Jargon. I may know them now, but I spent a long time in the 292nd *pretending* I knew what they meant. I totally know all the words now, don't quote me on that. 5:57 did not notice that Phalanx shrunk until they returned to normal size, great detail there. 16:16 For those wondering what occurred: Reinserted Foxtrot and Crusader members from friendly lines to save the Crusader Medic. Meanwhile, Knight rerouted some of their members to push up the hill towards the Crusader Medic in response to seeing the Purple Smoke (which is used for a Mass-cas in the 292nd). Knight's rescue team found the Medic, who then reported to Crusader that they'd been found. Believing the situation to now be in safe hands, Foxtrot/Crusader peeled off and went back towards a rally point in the opposite direction. However, the Crusader medic ran *past* the 2-man Knight rescue team toward friendly positions. Before the members of Knight could comprehend the incoherent ramblings of the Medic, PLA Marines swiftly took them out of the equation. Somehow, the Medic managed to survive the fiasco. 17:42 Quick, I need to say something to convince people I'm neutral... um... You can't aim! Yeah, that'll do it.
I have to say Ryan these videos are excellent, love the story elements to the missions and information is well articulated. They're honestly better then mine by like 1000% lol I might join yous all someday though Fridays are probably the only days I'd show up for. Keep up the amazing work you'll soon reach 10k subs in no time.
Great video, my first time watching, an idea I add in my Zeusing is throwing in random surrendering AI to throw them off and add a bit more chaos and logistics. But I will be watching more of your videos!
short but nice and neat. I reckon the real event if it happens would be near apocalyptic the amount of cruise missiles from the mainland. And if the U.S is involved they will be finding pieces of planes and helicopters in the ocean hundreds of years from then.
Unfortunately not, my mic is pretty shitty so a lot of my time is spent editing out all the random stuff it picks up in the background, and it'd just take me too long to edit that all out for the full 2 hours
@@TheMaxORyan long explanation but, was formerly apart of an Arma group that was disbanded after the group leader gave up on it as it was a complete mess like no communication or organization so I guess I’m afraid of being abandoned again..
I mean the objectives are kind of scripted I guess, in the sense that for the defense they would have had to do exceedingly well to hold back the marines. If they'd managed to hold the town for an extra 15 to 20 minutes though I would have had them "win" & hold off the assault/keep their foothold on the North Island. The problem is they used up a lot of their respawn tickets holding their first defensive line (they started the op with 30 and were at 19 when the defense started, by the time they pulled back to the town itself they were down to 2), and so couldn't hold anymore without having people be permanently killed off
Legally speaking, China cannot "invade" its own territory, even one that is an autonomy. The real question is what USMC is doing in a country that did not officially invite them, especially when American government recognizes One China principle with the PRC as the one and only official Chinese government. That's some mental gymnastics for the Americans. :)
