@@joooshbox3876 theres plenty of potential challenges im sure, so many possibilities with all the supported maps and mods. one challenge im not sure anyone has beaten would be "max difficulty", basically if you turn the enemy resource parameters all the way to the max, the enemy can essentially constantly send more units, an endless battle unless you can mow them down fast enough. we tried it once on our server, was on omaha beach against the germans, and it was literally like a constant convoy of reinforcements, entire battalions of troops coming and never ending

Reforger is dogger compared to Arma 3 90 mins in and steam activated refund ... People who play reforger on console have no idea the potential But then again its just a demo and not a full game unlike arma 3 Bring on Arma 4 taking ages

would be crazy to see a big, proper RTS mod that allows for AI vs AI with you controlling one side or even, another player controlling enemy AI. not sure how possible it is in A3 (having fog of war etc so you can see everything and much much more stuff that would need to be addressed incl. ever sense i got this video recommended to me two days or so after it dropped it revived my interest in playing arma 3 and while i had a lot of fun with my antistasi experience thus far and thank u for an amazing vid and inspiration i must ask, how did you pull off the rts part of it all? i tried on my own for awhile now but just couldnt figure it out while the mods listed are nice i cant go beyond commanding a handful of men not an entire army with varying vehicles!, i did try to have them use a offroad once only for them to hit a wall and die
Yeah it took a lot of research and practice. For sure you need to have the AI skill up to the max. When you host a LAN/Server you can change this in the bottom right. Then, Antistasi Ultimate adds an arms dealer and depending on what faction you choose you get vehicles from him. He unlocks after War level 3. Then in order to command all the units. I selected the commander role and then (ctrl+space) gets you into commander mode. 'Y' to access the commander menu and recruit units ✌️ then control them the same as your own units. If there's an empty vehicle I recommend recruiting a vehicle squad and 'Y' -> AI management -> assign vehicle to get them to use the vehicle. Hope this helps

Hiya mate, watching this got me into antistasi ultimate for the first time and im having a blast. Any tips on using the vehicles though ? Im just using vanilla arma with the DLCs for my first playthrough and im at war level 5 with the bittom left side of altis captured. Have plenty factories, a mil base and just got an airfield. When i recruit ai squads with a vehicle they get those un-armed flatbed truck things you start off with and i was wondering how you managed to get yours all using APCs and the like? I know how to buy them from the arms dealer but is it like you have to buy a certain number to unlock for squads ? Sick of going up against high level tech in jeeps and trucks😂
i recommend recruiting AI squads into your squad, then find an APC and tell them to get inside the vehicle and then make a new squad out of those people. You can also just recruit the squad from the menu and tell them to get in the vehicle, Don't tell them to spawn with a vehicle because i think that puts them in a very bad vehicle or unarmed one as you're saying. Hope this helps a little mate, haven't played arma in a couple months so sorry if anything is wrong!

I think reforger should add a way to make ai auto spawn or a kind "spawn" point with a specific number of allowed ai in a specific areas to where you can have ai guard bases reinforcements etc etc

Server Setting were set to the Highest Skill/Accuracy to make my AI actually useable. Then, In Antistasi settings I limit the Enemy AI accuracy to 50%.

I dont know to be honest. Not sure that Ive ever gottem them to do this. The only way Ive got my units better gear is by unlocking said gear in the arsenal and then equipping it in the Commander Menu

@@joooshbox3876 I am yes, and yeah they DO, but usually all of them just clump into one building though, I can use the built in "garrison feature" but that is pointless because they simply get reset when they respawn after getting chace'd I wish it simply use the built in garrison even filling module...I have just accepted HMG placements and statics are the best way to do it
How does your AI not just become completely useless when you start having such large amounts of forces? For me they usually become braindead with too many troops
@cassu6 this sounds silly but too many ai can actually bog down the calculation speed for the server, but adding headless clients helps a BUNCH by offloading cpu burden onto virtual clients! doing this bypasses the cpu limit of the base games engine :) its pretty cool
Is there any way to improve performance on a LAN server? I'm at war level 5 on Altis and the battles are very big now, tons of AI and I barely get 15fps. I don't have fps problems in single player only in LAN hosted MP that is needed for Antistasi.
No idea how to improve the Performance tbh. Sorry, Even I get Sub 20 FPS at times and I can easly record and play at 120+ most of the time. Just its a very old game

Tonoa is pretty easy as the AI struggle to QRF, and often resort to air mobility. Which can be easy pickings with manpad AI.

Then you can buy it from the Garage in the same way you buy your first car but in the last tab

When you host the game on your LAN, you can spectate the world in the ESC menu. Then just jump in and out and give orders and spectate

I am very curious, when it came to making AI pick up better weapons HOW, my guys would take the better rigs and helmets but NEVER take the guns

I think increasing the AI skill in the server settings help.
@cassu6 this sounds silly but too many ai can actually bog down the calculation speed for the server, but adding headless clients helps a BUNCH by offloading cpu burden onto virtual clients! doing this bypasses the cpu limit of the base games engine :) its pretty cool

Is there any way to improve performance on a LAN server? I'm at war level 5 on Altis and the battles are very big now, tons of AI and I barely get 15fps. I don't have fps problems in single player only in LAN hosted MP that is needed for Antistasi.
No idea how to improve the Performance tbh.
Sorry, Even I get Sub 20 FPS at times and I can easly record and play at 120+ most of the time.

I didnt use Zeus too much but What you need to do is when in Zeus (Right Click) Editable Objects

The AI Skill and Percision are max so my AI are not terrible.
Then in Antistasi settings I limit the Enemy accuracy to 50%

It's not Zeus - that's antistasi's AI control system and spectator camera. Zeus UI is totally different.

How do you activate the Antistasi mod for Arma 3? i wanna play it but it wont work?
When you launch the game in steam, you need to activate it in the launcher.
If you have it activated, then HOST a server and select the map and if Antistasi Supports it, then youll find it there.

are you stupid ? they are just playing the same gamemode but they do not do the same things at all.. Antistasi is made for everyone and some WAY bigger names out there made videos before any of these people. This is as an RTS, he's playing in first person and actually going there to fight.. it's completely different, making me wonder if you even watched the videos at all.
