Actually, this could be expanded upon where the events of the next game are determined by what items can be smuggled through the border in a previous game.
By my count, 7/10 people crossing died, and the entire security team (plus the news crew) were wiped out. That is one serious mortality rate for this border crossing 😂
In near eastern border, I think it was one of Israels, all of this happens, plus a lot of “flirting”, that is more like molestation. Borders are shite.
“I think he’s dead.” *unsubscribes prisoner from earth right before the media can see* “Oh right he’s dead I forgot.” 😂 “I am beautiful woman!” “Alright let’s not get ahead of ourselves. 😂”
it would be cool if the successfully smuggled weapons and contraband would be sold/used in a rebellion/war after the border crossing event and the fighters had to use whatever items smuggled in

My family and I visited Abhazia twice as a vacation destination. The russian side of the border gad good security, many borderguards and so on while the Abhazian side had like one or several guys, I don't remember exactly, he checked our passports for a brief moment and that was it. Russians asked us some questions to verify our identity, and the Abhazian borderguard just looked at our passports and said:"Alright, you are free to go".
Off of this video I winded up going into a rabbit hole of trying to find out if "Abkhazia" was even a real place simply because at first I thought the flag looked fake as all hell, only to then see the foreign affairs website at 2:15, learned about an entirely new place that I'd never have any idea of existing prior and more importantly how they make their moonshine.
Ignpring the whole "dont ask me why a fictional country from ARMA lore is bordering a real, semi-recognised, breakaway state" i also didnt know abkhasia existed lol
As a resident of Abkhazia, I will say that our border guards do not really want to check documents and just look at your passport for 10 seconds and let you through🙂
@@alexletiny5155 if we say without jokes, the salary of the border service is higher than the national average. But in Abkhazia, thanks to its political situation, it is possible to maintain a high standard of living
I used to this with friends a lot in various scenarios many many years ago. From police checkpoint things, to big government border checkpoints, to military defensive forces doing checkpoints.
30:35 can I just clink a glass of wine to the editor? I keep seeing editors writing subtitles (text floating on the screen, not youtube's subtitles) and hearing the absolute opposite thing from what's said or even not understanding it at all and replacing it with *?* or *gibberish*. All my respect to video editors who have keen hearing and a perfect understanding of english. o7
Whats the best job at a checkpoint? I bet the watch tower is chill other than if you miss something youre in trouble. And the coffee and bathrooms are probably in the main office. Main office probably has AC but you’re probably stuck doing computer work all day. Guard has to deal with people but maybe gets to chill in between that. Security just has to stand around and be present mostly but they can’t just like sit or goof off
AHh this brings back memories. I used to do these exact type of missions with my old arma 3 group. These checkpoint missions can be some of the most fun you have on arma. One time I strapped C4 to a go-kart and then proceeded to drive into the checkpoint blasting running in the 90s and then bombing the entire checkpoint.
I played the first papers please. OG operation flashpoint elite cold war crisis, border role play. Once the cars ran out at civ spawn, restart, no scripts worked properly and if you took down the bridge which was east to do, it was over lol. So many great memories.
Really fun stuff man. Tip from someone who has worked too man ECPs, have a lead man to control incoming so they can't get eyes on ongoing searches, always take drivers and passengers away from the vehicles to the other side of blast barriers. Most of the issues with customers come from finding stuff where they can see you found it lol

"This guy has 40 permits"
"Is he allowed to have that many permits?"
truly a commentary on modern bureaucracy lmao
"you have a permit for all those permits?"
"Sorry sir you have 40 permits and you only have a permit to have 38 permits, you'll have to come with me"

I personally found no issue with whatever money laundering operation was taking place at the time

ah yes my favorite type of military simulation, office paperwork
It's not truly a milsim unless a quarter of the gameplay consists of briefings, debriefs, and paperwork.

The star of david on the guys head at 4:33 as he says 'Inshallah' absolutely fucking sent me.
I liked the flag and we had the flagpole in the modpack, that's the level of thought that went into choosing Abkhazia
Can't wait to see the next fringe nation flag
10 years of fighting minor virtual conflicts and you're just now telling me it's because you like the flags???

Why does this guy only have 384 subs? this is peak content
Arma content creators try not to be fucked over by youtube algorithms (impossible challenge).
Looks like he's gained over a thousand since this uploaded, so I guess this video might be the one that finally gets him some recognition!

I love your humor, person i didn't know till today
“The security troops have found something under his car, and he also does not have Id. he is also hitting the dab and the griddy”
this is actually making me SERIOUSLY reconsider getting back into arma
When I clicked on the video I certainly didn't expect a break away state from my home country to feature
