PS the active info display is very good. Namely putting extra info in the centre of the dials but I wish you could tailor it more. Also you can have smaller dials and a wider screen map which can be useful 👍🏼

massive jump! The R is easy to drive but my advice to you is don't let the car drive you... it gets very addictive and you can get carried away haha
I'll be sure to take it easy to get used to the change for the first few hundred miles or so!

The Facelift Golf R will run about 310 BHP, as the new Facelift Audi S3 is running at the moment.
ahhh yes, so once again following the Audi brand lol. Ive no idea why not just give 360BHP seeing as all the latest mega hatches now offer between 340 - 370!
Jay Kay It's the rules they have to follow with one another. Remember, the golf r is perfect match for the s3. The rs3 sits in its own field with the Vag group. Unless Vw make a Golf R 400 like they teased everyone about
that was a cruel tease as well and baffles me as to why offer the idea and then take it away!? Having said that, i think my 300 R is powerful for our roads... the number of speed cameras on the motorways now is getting stupid!!

Ive seen the "R-Line golf facelift, and GTI & GTE but haven't seen anything about Golf R coming early next year?

I am pleased if they are increasing the price as I got a 3k reduction of my golf R when I factory ordered it and It gets here next week so i am happy about the hike, as it means I got it at a good price for an old Facelook version. Not keen on the wheels of the new version either 😏
thats one way of looking at it, another way is it means it will cost more if you decide to upgrade to the MK8 Golf R or decide to buy another new VW lol.

Very good question! In my experience VW are tight fuckers who do not give freebies! So if its not on your order form (look for the 9inch infotainment system and upgraded LED lights) then i doubt it! Going by this unveiling its stuff they want more money for.
Remember no details have been released regarding the R facelift
If i ring seat can i get my software on my entertainment system upgraded ?
Only to the latest firmware version of that software. I believe they do it at the service? Not sure though as it can be a big job and there is conflicting info on this. I also got told by my dealer I can't have performance monitor but a VW forum a guy managed to get it done by trying another dealer!
