Like what your doing with this series, really well thought out, but once I noticed that teddy bear stocking I couldn't stop looking at it as I have the same one in the loft from when I was a kid about 20 years ago!

The bodykit is made by oettinger! The spoiler here in the uk is £390 inc vat. You might aswell just get that and a stage 1 tune and that spoiler, and you will be at 360hp and a nice looking car😂. For under a grand!!

I thought so! They really are dreaming! It's like the gardx cleaning kit they tried to sell me. £300... when autoglyms kits is far better and only £45 on eBay 😂😂

I am considering buying a golf R or GTI next year so I am finding your content very useful. looking forward to the new face lift options to consider, but as you say £5k for a body kit is verging on extortion. I am finding it a bit frustrating that it is hard to find any info on the new R, nothing on vw website, anyone know where any info is available

Marc Bedingfield the reason behind this mate is if your in my position where I've ordered a golf r in October just gone (2016) and I'm waiting to receive it in march 2017 I'm not the only one to do this, they're holding back all info on the r for now as they're deciding what they're going to do I think, if you go into your dealership you actually can't order a golf r at the moment, so there's quite a lot of drama at vw for the moment

You're a lucky guy the R is awesome but I found soomething out about he warranty last week re launch control and warranty. Launching control doesn't void warranty but failure during launch control will be investigated and can be rejected as a warranty claim! So don't go crazy launching if you can't afford major repairs!! Unlikely to happen mate as the R is bullet proof but the warranty is shit lol
