I swear i thought of you yesterday and wondered if you still had yours and then i woke up to a notification for your new vid. Thank you for those vids from before they really helped me prepare. Hey Jay, I remember when you first got that car, I watched every video. I enjoyed your videos where you reflected on the entire range of competitor cars and other cars you were considering at the time. Your videos were very detailed, very personal and candid , just thought I'd add my two cents. I believe you had a land cruiser too back in the day? I think that sticks in my mind as my dad had a Toyota Granvia 4x4 which shared the power train from the land cruiser. I hope you will be doing some more vids in the future. Also curious where you've moved to as you mentioned being abroad, perhaps there is a car scene over there that might be of interest. All the best, Rob S. (my former username).
Hi mate. I still have the landcruiser and have my type r back on the road. I was living in thailand for a long while. There is a car scene there but i didnt get chance to get involved owing to moving around a lot. I did live with a Honda City the whole time and can say it is a great car. Back in the UK now currently working on a project. Would love a new car but everything is too expensive for my blood now lol.
Good to see you back. It’s a nightmare selling a car. If you go the private sale route you are basically telling any dodgy character where the car is, then there’s having to deal with dodgy characters and time wasters etc. All of the webuyanycar style places are offering shite prices at times, but at least you know they won’t nick your car😂.

Thankyou mate. The Golf R is without a cracking motor and i cannot believe how much they are to buy new now, like 50k!!

Congratulations. You did well to get £23k for a mk7R. Even with 9k miles. Goes well. Sells well too it seems.

i literally brought a golf r because of watching your videos 😂 sold it last summer and brought a a45 amg. do miss the golf tbf
What do you think of the AMG in comparison? I test drove one before i bought my R and thought it was a fun car
