I still have my oontz for like 5 years. Now, still solid. Battery life last. Highly recommended.

I like how the OontZ moves while the music is playing. I didn't care for the way the Bose sounded.

There’s an older smaller Bluetooth speaker from Jam called the Jam Rewind (it looks like a cassette tape) and it has fantastic sound that holds up to this day. Last I checked they were super cheap on Amazon.
Cool vid, thank you... Isn't there a problem with the Oontz ? This thing dances with the music and slowly escape the table. Is it that light ?..
The highs on the Oontz were a bit “bright” IMHO, which for me would/could create “listening fatigue”, but for 40 clams it’s a great deal. Not much of a Bose fan, but the quality looked pretty nice.

Bose seems to have less high end so it comes off as a bit more muffled compared to the Oontz...which can be good or bad depending on the listener. The Oontz is on sale NOW on Amazon for $30, so with that price difference, the sound quality is negligible.
Oontz definitely has some good value. Nothing wrong with Bose if you have money to spend. Comes down to choice. 🙂
Oonzt THE BEST in speaker. that clicking music is crisp ang clear.
I have a over 5 year old oontz. Great speaker for when I travel.
Just picked up an Onntz off Amazon as a second BT speaker to use for outdoor, travel use. I already have a Sony BT speaker I use at my office. My comparison between the two is just like your video between the Onntz and Bose. Bottom line when it comes to premium sound quality is YOU GET WHAT YOU PAY FOR. Onntz is a solid quality BT speaker for the price. However if you want a more premium audio experience overall you need to pay the premium (Bose, Sony, etc).
Try Tribit maxsound plus. $40 speaker that sounds better than bose, Sony xb20 or jbl flip 4. Ive had them all but sold them and stayed only with my Tribit. I also have B&O A1 which is a premium speaker sounding better than all of them but battery is crap ( max vol 2hrs +) and price tag of $200. That's why Tribit is a overall winner!

Yep hahahah :D and you can buy a more expensive oontz that will sure beat Bose base on sound quality :) I think Bose is expensive because of the material they use to build it that it really looks premium and it is durable.

Once you pair a second oontz for a stereo pair, it's over and it's still far cheaper. The reason why the bose has a muddled mid is the driver is too small to reproduce it correctly and overly exaggerated mid bass hump (thin upper bass). I've owned both (got them from friends when the batteries died, had to take them apart to replace the batteries, gave back the bose after a few weeks to them after the battery replacement), the main problem with the oontz is it "walks" when played loud, I have strapped it down (bungee cord/clipboard) which tightened up the bass more and defined the mid better as well. I think most people would be better off with buying two oontz or next physically larger bluetooth speaker over the Bose in most cases, the main cool thing about the Bose to me at least was the charging doc, I wished they all were designed to at least be contact charge capable, this way have a spot with a charger to lay it on and good to go the next day.
Have had a Bose mini for over 2yrs, use it on job sites and at home, no comparison to the Oontz, yes it’s more expensive but if u like bass and rich sound it’s worth it.

Yes,I agree bose does have better lows and the quality is there. Oontz definetly sounds good for the price and perfect for those that are seeking a cheaper alternative. I use both frequently am happy with them. :)

I got ortizan jbl pyle oontz and i love the oontz and jbl i got the oontz pro oontz xl oontz angle 3 angle 3plus angle solo angle 3 ultra and oontz cylinder and finally oontz clip
to me they sound The same but I would rather pay $40 and $200 to be honest if the quality sounds the same to me of course I do have the 3XL onto and 3 ultra wonderful speakers

They do sound the same because author of this video used mic from his camera instead of a expensive binural microphone, which only than we would be able to tell any difference. If you use mic from your camera sound is already very distorted and than you listen through a speaker that distorts sound even more (like listen through other bt speaker etc.) that's why YT speaker sound comparison is not an easy task.

for the money you cannot beat the oontz, I just returned a sony $250 bluetooth speaker will buy the oontz 3 pro. I have the ultra and I'm sorry to say it sounds way better than the sony (not louder) because I love sony products and I have a lot of them. I am all for the sound.

Veritas Aequitas actually Bose has a V shaped sound signature ( boosting low and highs) because it sounds better to the average consumer. Audiophiles prefer a more neutral sound signature as it replicates the recording more accurately. So if anything your statement should be “No mids - must be Bose”
