    I previously purchased the Angle 3 Ultra and LOVED it for job site use. I purchased the Angle 3XL Ultra with high expectations and unfortunately, it didn't turn out the way I wanted. It was good while it lasted.
    The Angle 3XL Ultra is a larger portable Bluetooth speaker with great sound when used in large open spaces, outdoors or in larger open buildings. In a small room, it does not sound very good to me. It does have an indoor and outdoor switch on the back, but that didn't seem to do anything to help the indoor situation. It is long lasting, even at high volumes.

    I have three of them, thank goodness. GOAT speaker of all time, too good to be true. It's hilarious that this video exists and everyone here has found the video on their search to find more.
    I strap both of mine together bottom to bottom, keep them in a mesh drawstring bag and it's a riot

      Remove GOAT from the sentence please. That gave me an aneurysm.

    Man. I was looking after only one of these absolute masterpieces for about 4 months but then times were tough and money was low and I had to sell it. Not a day goes by that I do not think about the speaker. Honestly I don't know how anybody in the right mind can say anything unbelievable brain. Hands down the best speaker I had ever owned. Though I will say I will give it to the haters that it is awkward as shit to carry. Oonskin definitely work on that but sound-wise holy shit JBL and ultimate ears are nothing compared to what this speaker was. And I could only imagine two of them paired together. It's what I would imagine heaven sounds like. I don't know why they would just continue their best speaker ever but sadly they did. But I just wanted to point out that as good as this speaker was it was still sold for a very reasonable price. Unlike punk ass JBL which will sell a fucking five watt speaker for $96. Cambridge soundworks cares about their customers. That's why I will always be an oontz angle supporter. God I miss that speaker so much. I currently on the new single three ultra which is fantastical, but it isn't even close to what this was. Like I said before and it's no exaggeration at all this was truly a masterpiece of a speaker. JBL couldn't dream with making anything this good. And even if they did they would shamelessly charge their customers $957 for it. Fuck JBL and Bose and all them overpriced bullshit speaker companies who don't give a shit about the customers. To the ounce makers, their customers are their family. And it shows. To JBL customers are nothing more than dollar signs. And it shows. When they roll out the same goddamn speaker every 3 years with very minor upgrades. Nonsense be any more overrated. We're just going to change the color in the size by an inch but it's essentially the same exact speaker every goddamn two years when they have their grand extravaganza where they display the exact same thing we all saw two years before. I don't really dislike JBL that much it's just a shame that the company is as good as in gets zero recognition while JBL gets all the recognition.. anyway, I'm done. Plus I want to say isn't forever and ever and ever and JBL their factory can burn down tomorrow and we would all be better off

      I don't own the JBL but majority of my coworkers due I think due to name (I can say it flip-flops on it's performance compared to my UE Boom 2). One of my coworkers in my age bracket (50s) owns an even more over rated/hyped "blose" speaker. I own UE Boom 2 (someone was going to throw it away due to it not working, found out just needed to replace the charge cable) and an Oontz Angle 3 (the battery went out on it, right now connecting a 12w charging brick to it but when I have more spare time I will open it up and replace the built-in battery). Personally playing at the same volume level and loud, the UE sounds better to me but you can buy 2+ of the Oontz in the same category for less, pair them, and it should sound better as a stereo pair (assuming you have room for it).
      I would recommend to most people if you don't one for extreme weather environments to seriously buy 2 Oontz over the competition single speaker. I'll admit though I haven't heard the Anker or Onn version in the similar category and price range, but I would buy a pair of any decent ones over just owning one JBL, Bose, or UE because the prior 2 and Oontz I mentioned should be comparable at worst but can be spaced out for a stereo pair.

    Ive had this speaker Forever and while everyones praising the Tribits and the Soundcores and all these random speakers ive had this baby forever. Love everything about it. So amazing. No app or eq settings but it still sounds great with just about every single genre of music i can throw at it and it gets really loud for just 24 watts. I remember it only costed me $100 new and there are speakers out there now that cost 4 times as much that arent half as good. Idk in the world they wouldve discontinued this model the ONLY thing even slightly bad with it was the battery life. It only lasts like 5 hours on max volume... kinda lame... but asidr from that this speaker has Always been perfect never needed to look for another one. I honestly could never say enough good things about this speaker. ❤

    I also have the smaller version and is great but if play music that has a lot of bass like Hip Hop. WATCH OUT the speaker moves. my last about 15 month with a lot of drops. but i wanted 3XL ULTRA and they discontinued this really sucks. It was the best of all because it had also 2 tweeters.

    My condolences on your loss of the loved one, I know they said time heals all wounds, and hopefully you replaced that loved one with a newer model or something from the competition that's similar.

    I have had one for a lot of years and can't kill it. I have beat that thing like a circus monkey. I have Velcro on the bottom and put it on the front of my Polaris sportsman, when I'm out riding around. That thing has been beat to death and caught in several torrential mountain rain storms. It still works like a champ. To clean the mountain dust off, I just use the spray nozzle and a little Dawn, in the kitchen sink. Their new stuff is garbage. I bought two Angle3 Pros and ended up sending them back. Don't get me started on the customer service, they don't even have a working customer service number at this point.. I'm trying to find something comparable, for a second ATV, no luck so far. I want it as loud, or louder, that ATV is loud, so it will take some serious volume. Any ideas?

    So what does it sound like in an enclosed space? You said it didn't sound good in your house. I'm thinking about buying one for my uncle's midsize garage.

    • @ContractorsPOV
      @ContractorsPOV  2 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Garage would probably be big enough to let it breathe. The room I had it in at the time was about 10x12 and it felt like it was not far enough away from any point. A garage would be much better than a small room.

      Yeah, I've had an Ultra for 2 years now and it's been amazing; lasts forever, it's loud, it sounds clean, and it's extremely durable. I'm always suggesting it to people at my plant because it's Literally the most bang for your buck, and we've (my wife and I) have combed through hundreds if not thousands of reviews.
