Good for me in the mid-morning now that I’ve advanced in years and had a few joint injuries that are cranky in the early day, especially if it’s raining!
Thank you for the wonderful class! These days my forward extensions are limited to about 90degrees so I had to modify some of the poses to accommodate that. It is challenging to keep the forward extension in the lower back which seems to really want to collapse backwards. By the end of 40min I feel wonderful and am still surprised by only regaining a couple inches of mobility forward. Forward bends seem to need significant care to maintain/progress and I really appreciate these thoughtful insights as to how to approach this.
@@iyengaryogawithstephanie Hi Stephanie! I have not tried putting a rolled blanket across the abdomen lately and will have to try it! Great idea. The lower back in forward extensions remains mysterious to me. I have done this video 3 days in a row now and the rehabilitation is very significant! The layering effect of daily repetitive practice is so powerful. I have tried several strategies to regain some flexion over the past few months with limited success and this is by far the most effective. Thank you! 👏👏👏
