I'm 37, been on strict keto for around 12 years... when people ask my age I always say to them to try and guess... and they pretty much all think I'm in my 20's, this way of eating most definitely slows down the ageing process.

My TSH went very low back in 2013 and it gradually improved over the years. All l did was reduced my stress levels, including leaving a very stressful job, introduced coconut oil and other natural foods in my diet. The last time l rechecked it was back in late 2018.l need to do another check if it is still okay.

I have halved and reduced by a third, my two ca 125 blood test levels, (high levels may indicate endometriosis), by following your advice, (mainly the anti cancer dietary videos). I also take idione from organic ireland red sea algae. My ca125 levels have dropped in just 4 months, and I havent always been consistent. My ovarian endometrioma cysts have stopped growing also!! "Things are stable", the gyno said. They wanted to give me a hysterectomy.. I wanted to give my body a chance to heal itself instead.
I genuinely owe a lot to Dr Berg. It was his videos that put me in the right direction, and gave me a lot of information to adapt into my daily life. Thankyou!!
Heres what I do: little dairy, little sugar, little refined carbs, intermittent fasting, half my food intake is organic, (but only in past month), twice daily NAC and vit c supplement, nice walks, organic idione, green powders, lemon water and apple cider vinegar, lots of raw cruceriferous vegie salads, I grow my own brocolli sprouts,(so easy to do), and have a cup a day (thats straight from DR Berg's anti cancer videos), wild caught sardines, and wild red salmon, organic liver twice a week, average sized portions of organic meats...dark choc 85 percent...and I give myself treats cause otherwise i found i just end up bingeing. The longest Ive fasted is 20 hours per day, normally I do 14 to 16 hours a day. I might do 3 days in a row and then stop for weeks. I will keep going with everything, and hope to reverse my condition (endometriomas) in time! Im 47 and just wish I had of done this sooner. Xx

I am ok with the noise and my spouse, having no kids, has had to learn to deal with kids, but also one with turrets and autism. I too am learning to calm down when dealing qith my brother as well as to make things less complicated. Putting either of my boys in a home is not an option. Noone promised life of happiness, and I need to , " having done all,to stand." I am glad its spring and will be in the garden and my spouse has golf. Recognise that while the Asian natives use lots of rice and noodles, that they use lots of fermented foods, use lots of spices and herbs and also eat lots of fish and don't suffocate everything with sugar and excess salt. They also generally are people who are physically more active.

I do eat lots of fermented foods like the vegetables and kimchi. I started keto almost two weeks ago and I’ve been really low on energy, not mentally, mainly in my muscles as they were fatiguing very quickly. Okay sort of made a mistake, which is highly unusual for Dr Berg. He mentioned organic fermented soy the mentioned miso and then tofu. Miso is fermented but tofu is not. Tempeh is fermented. And ideally tamari (check label), and also Natto but I’ve never seen it sold(in US).
I’d say go with the organic naturally fermented tempeh, not tofu.

I have watched your incredible knowledgeable vlogs for a couple of years and I can’t Thankyou enough for sharing ,explaining in a simple broken down logic way how we have such nourishing foods available to help keep our bodies naturally in check and our eating habits , i so wish you were around in the 70s and 80s the decades of plastic and fast foods , I have carefully naturally managed my hypothyroid ( caused by stress and liver congestion)plus on top menopause! these two together caused weight gain and more stress ( being agitated and at the smallest things )but with your keto and fasting recommendations is amazing , it is hard to make a change of a lifetime of bad eating habits ,but for the first two weeks I noticed how calm and rational I felt on a daily basis to me this is life changing and if you see any shift in your being you have to go for it ! it’s never to late to heal Thankyou Dr berg😌

    Dear Dr Berg,
I would like to express my gratitude for your work and an incredibly valuable health guidance which you continue to provide.
I wanted to ask - would you have any advice for people suffering from eating disorders?
I have a personal history of anorexia. Now, nutritionally mostly rehabilitated, I follow your general recommendations (i.e. eating one meal per day, including plenty of vegetables and healthy fats, sometimes I also practice longer fasting, exercising a lot).
Mentally however, the disease is still taking its toll and seems to be retaining control - hence my question.
Since I highly respect your knowledge and experience, I would be extremely grateful for any insight you might share.

Dr Berg, Could you clarify what you mean by “vitamin D is a hormone”? I have seen at least 3 commenters (on your valerian root video), asking if they should stop taking vitamin D because they thought it is a hormone the same way cortisol, insulin, melatonin, ect. are.
You explained in your recent video on valerian root (3:48), that if you provide too much hormone for too long of a period, the gland that is supposed to produce the hormone, will get lazy.
I can find some of your videos on vitamin D where you stated that it is acting like a hormone but is not produced by a gland like cortisol and such are.
