Never realized how pre diabetic I was. Crazy. I've been doing more serious intermittent fasting and eating keto, carnivore, mixing it up and avoiding carbs like the plague. I have reversed so many of these! Thank you thank you!
Dropped from 225 to 190 so far too. Which is nice.

Nice work. I am on the same path. Was 225 several months ago and down to 203. Cleaned up my diet. Got rid of sweets, soda, and junk food. Walk for 20 minutes a day. Drink lots of water. Cheat a little bit on the weekends. I am over 50 and the weight has been dropping off. I feel like I am 30 with a ton more energy, better sleep, better mind, etc.
Make no mistake. Our trashy food consumption culture is the root of 90% of our problems. Let’s efffing go people! 💪🏼

Like describing me 2 years ago. Had symptoms no 1,3,7,8,12,13 and 15. In fact, frequent, strong headaches in the morning. Years of blood work, CT scans and 3 different doctors looking mainly at neck muscle problems turned out to be jack all. A fourth doctor talked about possible inflammation of some sort. Curious and desperate, I went on dr. youtube looked up inflammations and made a potion with turmeric and ginger. My sinuses opened up immediately as if I was not even breathing till that point. Headaches disappeared instantly. I started not feeling hungry all the time. I then stumbled upon your videos Dr. Berg on intermittent fasting and thought to give it a go since I was not eating 4-5 times a day anymore. That was Jan 23. Today I have lost 18kg, and I am as light as I was 25+ years ago. I am 46. I do not understand everything you say, but just watching you and following as much as I can has changed my life. As difficult as it was to lose the weight (I trained regularly for years) it is now easy not to put it back on. I still do not understand the mechanism behind the weight loss but the first 14 kilos I lost in six months. I had people approached me worrying that I had cancer or something. I take magnesium, vitamin d and kalium as well as B1. Never been healthier. I know you have heard it many times but thank you and thank God you are around man!

I had most of these and I'm thin. I began to deteriorate, having mini strokes, migraines, brain fog, tingling hands and feet, interrupted sleep, tmj symptoms, etc. I was skin and bones until cutting out sugar and carbs, dairy and gluten. It took about 6 months to feel better and gain weight, but 9 years later I'm feeling more healthy and energetic in my 40s than I did in my 20s. So grateful for these videos!
(Edit: I forgot to mention that my eyesight also improved. It went from -5.50 to -3.50, which was a bit frustrating over the years. I had to get them checked every few months, but now they've stabilized for 2 years.)

I had virtually all of these symptoms. In January I had a doctor's appointment. She poked at my abdomen and said "More exercise, less cholesterol. This is your Olympics." There were no blood tests as yet. I took that as general advice to improve my lifestyle.
At times I was going to the bathroom literally every 5-10 minutes. Who would have guessed that consuming bags of chips, cakes, cookies and chocolate milk while sitting at a computer before bed was a bad thing?
I found some of Dr. Berg's videos, among others, concerning symptoms such as frequent urination and numbness. To say it was alarming is an understatement. I don't want to be an amputee, or blind! I determined I would radically overhaul my lifestyle. I started by throwing all the snacks, canola oil and chocolate powder in the trash.
Eight months later I am hiking 10-15 miles every day, sleeping at night, and 100 pounds lighter. People can't believe they are looking at the same person as in January. I really feel like a different person. I can see the ground, tie my shoelaces and get out of bed without elaborate maneuvering. I was in rough shape.
I had essentially self-diagnosed myself with T2 diabetes. It was never official. Now the blood tests look good and most symptoms are gone. I still have about 20 pounds to lose but I'll get there soon.
I encourage anyone who is in a similar situation to make that change. You can turn things around. It is just a matter of discipline. Time I spend hiking is the time I used to waste sitting at the computer. I only turn it on about once a week now. The hardest part was figuring out what to eat-or rather what _not_ to eat. That is 90% of what you find at the supermarket!

Excellent advice as always. I told a customer about you and a couple of weeks later he came in and thanked me for letting him know about you. He was really happy for the info, me too. I have to tell you about a coworkers mom scheduled for leg amputation in 3 days. They rubbed baby butte paste with zinc (30-40%) all over her leg up until the appointment. At the appointment, Dr. walks in, looks at her leg and cancelled the operation. So 5 months ago I hit my tow on a rock and 2 months later I noticed my toe had turned dark purple under and around up to the side of the toenail, not black but close. I put the zinc cream on for 5 days, totally gone. I had a pimple like thing on my arm for a couple weeks till it started looking worse, put the cream on that night, half gone next morning. Anytime my toes started to feel weird, put the cream on and gone. I think everyone needs this in their medicine cabinets, heals quickly. You are the best. Also I try eating better, intermittent fasting too. I’m diabetic.

Same here. If I consume any excess sugar during the day, chocolate, a cake or whatever, I'll lay down in bed and immediately get restless leg. It would even sometimes wake me up. I even had some water melon at lunch and despite its antioxidant benefits, the high levels of sugar would set my legs off at night.

I listened to Dr. Berg and reduced my A1C from 6.3 to 5.4 in 6 months time. I was a 68 yr old woman, weighed 124 lbs , 5 ft. I thought I was healthy both t found out I was not. Prep diabetes is not acceprable. Diabetes us a horrible devastating progressive disease; I know because both my parents developed it as they aged and took medication me for it. It killed them both. I have a beautifull family & grandchildren & I love life and so I immediately took steps to reduce my 6.3 A1C. I changed and had improved my diet and exercises even more, based according to what I learned about healthy lifestyle from Dr.Berg. I did not t take any diabetic medicine. I cut out much sugar, carbs and processed food from my diet and stayed physically and mentally as best I could. And it worked! I am now 71 and weigh 112. I reversed my A1C to 5.4 and feel great! Thank you so much Dr. Berg for nav my the courage to step up and teach us the truth about our body's and good health. You are appreciated👌

This video is such a valuable resource for anyone managing diabetes! I had no idea that nighttime symptoms like restless leg syndrome or frequent urination were linked to high blood sugar. It’s alarming how these small signs, when ignored, can lead to bigger issues like kidney damage or peripheral neuropathy. The part about magnesium and B1 deficiencies really hit home for me-I’ve been struggling with cramps and restlessness at night, and now I realize how important these vitamins are. Thank you for sharing these practical tips and the reminder to address these symptoms early on before they worsen!

Craving sugar can be a sign of dehydration; our bodies are dehydrated and therefore tired and our body’s instinct says “Get quick energy so you can go get some d@mned water in me!”. Hunter gatherers will gorge on honey (only when on long unproductive hunts). They don’t get diabetes cause they are using a better form of sugar for one thing but also they are in touch enough with their bodies still that they know they need energy but they know it is for getting water not just to continually gorge on like we highly industrialized folks do. They also are more relaxed…not panicked about needing energy constantly as they don’t have a sense they have to work 50-70 hours a week in a mind numbing sensory depriving cubical or delivery truck or whatever.

Dr. Eric Berg, you nailed it. I go to the doctor's office, and they throw all this stuff at me, everything you are talked about I am or have felt it. Working on my diet now. Thank you.

Had peripheral neuropathy about 10 years ago. High glucose due to too much inactivity. Increasing my pain level threshold in my feet also helped.

reversing insulin resistance is a long game, like you mention. We didn't get here quickly, we won't correct the metabolic compromise quickly. I've been wearing a CGM for two months and doing primarily a ketovore (mostly carnivore) and my blood glucose still wants to say in the lower hundreds. I will once again get my blood sugars to the 80's ... just mad at myself for letting myself get to this point. "An ounce of prevention is worth a pound of cure"

I heard a guest on Lillie Kane on TH-cam say that to much protein can turn to glucose and to lower the amount slightly on the protein and up the fat. Hope this helps you.

      @tripperdan 2 หลายเดือนก่อน +2

@@Trumpgal458 that's valid premise. My intake isn't excessive and is balanced with fats. Mostly a OMD or breakfast with a few eggss then my normal lunch. Currently even when I fast, the glucose stays high, so it's gonna take a little bit of time to turn this ship around.

I can confirm the symptoms as true. I had 2/3s of these symptoms. I would even wake up from a sleep seizure. Just cut the sugar out and drink water.

well feel free to use artificial sweeteners instead then n your body cant even recognize what they are. also there are forms of sugar in almost everything so basically you can say that food is poison. gg
