Wizard of Woz - is it possible your new shaft was too big of a diameter? It seems to me the new shaft is fixed in the lower mounting, meaning it cannot turn. If it also is fitting snugly into the impeller then that may be the reason the thing is not turning. I'm pretty sure the impeller was meant to spin freely on the shaft, while the shaft remained stationary. Thanks
Hello, what is the diameter of the shaft? And the length? (In millileter) have you make the mesurement if the out of the pump? The connector who come inside the container. I'm interested to change the container by a sand filter. Good or Bad Idea? (Sorry for my english) thank you
I believe the diameter is 8mm or about ¹/⁸ th inch and the length is just under 3 ⁵/⁸ inches. Not sure what that is in mm. I hope this helps. I found some ceramic shafts on Amazon for fish tanks that might work as a temporary fix.

Thanks for the video. I did get some useful information. Something wrong with the pausing during recording, but still useful.

Having same problem getting ready to open her up any suggestion.
Hey Doug I would replace the ceramic shaft with a stainless steel one.
@@wizardofwoz8864 thank's
Omg no help. Why bother
Please remove or correct your video!!! You just have a stuck impeller. It’s frozen. None of what you did in this video will help that!
