I have to thank you. Our pump is beside the house and between fences. Sound amplified. I ordered the auto sound reduction sheets, and what a difference. I put 3 layers, and six in total under the entire pump. My wife thought I had turned off the pump!! That was a genius move you shared. Our thanks from Canada 🇨🇦
I could not find the link to the material. Could you please reply. I have two pool pumps in a condo pool equipment room that is directly adjacent to my condo. It is causing vibrational and disruptive noise. I also have some type of clicking chemical release mechanism attached to a wall that is making noise. How would you suggest I sound proof that item. If you send me an email, I can send you a video of the room. I’m assuming this is non-flammable material?
I can’t find anything on the product description saying if it’s safe to use inside. Do you know if it is safe if I put this under a pet water fountain?
I find the dense foam will work for a couple of hours and then it just sits on it and vibrates as much as ever. The stuff I linked works amazing but any sound deadening mats for vehicles like the one I linked should also work just as good! Thanks
Great content! I have a question. Does covering every inch of the walls and ceiling of a small room, and putting thick carpet on the floor enough to soundproof and remove room reflections?

Awesome!! Happy it worked out for you! Also from Canada!! 😊
OMG I just watched another of your videos and asked how to get rid of the vibrational hum of my pet fountain pump!
How does that hold up to the elements?
What is the link to purchase the sound proofing material please, my next-door neighbor's pump is ear-piercingly loud
oh i found it, thanks
Keen to know if it works? My neighbours pool pump is so loud! I will pay to install it just to make it quiet!!!

Pump is not bolted down. Is this ok?
Wouldn't a sheet of dense foam do the same thing? Or is the material you linked more effective?
Great video. Thanks!

It wouldn't soundproof the room no but it would definitely help in reducing echo!
That's not a solid concret pad, it is prefab and is hollow, this is the sound they make when motor is not 100% resting on it. Paddding is a good help.
How did I get here ?
I dont have a pool but i still watched this Video 😂 Do you have an email i can send you a illustration of my soundproofing question?
Hope you enjoyed the video! You can send a question to info@soundproofguide.com 😊
@@soundproofguide sent!
Doesn't work. Just tighten the bolts and clean inlet of pump
"pool pumps hate him for this one simple trick"
I tried it. I didn't notice any difference.
Why isn't it just bolted down?
I’ve tried that before and it still
Vibrates and makes noise eventually
Rubber feet might make it quieter.
Rocket science 😂😂😂
Man you say a lot without saying anything
TLDR - Stick a mat under it
