My manual says spark plug QC12YC but the sticker under the lid with all the specs says RC12YC. Also the bushing in the top of the gas tank is somehow buggered and not allowing the fuel pump to draw correctly so wont start. Researching a bushing fix right now. Thanks for the vid.
Just open the intake plenum and replace the PCV valve. First try to clean and test it. It is easy to remove the intake plenum. it looks difficult.
Our 2009 Nissan Quest has a similar engine. They are nearly impossible to work on. Thanks for sharing this.
Awesome job ! I hear you with the brush to fill in the stone . Yes do what’s needed to the eye , be creative and you’ll love and appreciate your doings . I’ve done the same , I over sanded because I like counter smooth and I redone or applied more stone … once happy two coat of clear … would I do this again ABSOLUTELY ! I choose or better yet my daughter chose Bright White . Beautiful.
Thanks, this is an informative video. I'd love for you to give me your opinion of my video where I did something different--I just added two shower drains and hose underneath to drain out the back. Works well, but your idea gives you the ability to walk around under the tarp if you need to do some work in there, so that's pretty neat. How do you like having to add that structure each winter, though?
Hey Jason thanks for checking out the video. The most challenging part is setting up the frame. I've tried marking the poles with a sharpie. And coming up with a labeling order like "front right support" or "middle to front". But the problem is the sharpie wears off. So every year it is basically start over and have fun. My wife and now my daughter were a big help this year. One more thing I use shrink wrap now, not a tarp. So rain snow etc is not a big deal. If you want the details like cost and stuff let me know. Thanks again and good luck
I bet the neighbors love looking at that for 7 months. 😂
Anyone know the MM size stubby wrench or Socket that would fit?
Saw another vid where guy used a 24mm socket on the valve to loosen/tighten
Just bought a staggered set for my 1980 Pontiac lemans fronts are 215/70/15 & rear are 275/60/15 street steel raised white letter radials & I like the tread better than tha bfg radial t/a should last me a long time cause I am not a burnout nut.
Can’t hear with the music going
How many kits did it take?
I believe I just bought one kit. It covered pretty well. I got the kit from Home Depot. The coverage specs are in the description on the website.
@@wizardofwoz8864 thanks!
WOW!!
How much caffeine do your kids get? Annoying as heck! Sorry, but do youtube when they are asleep.
The title of the video doesn't show him doing that. 🤦♂
I ram a set of these on my 08 expedition. I pulled a camper cross country and back. Never had an issue with these tires. I got about 70k miles out of them. They were so bald after 70k but good tires for the money.
What size tarp did u use
I believe I used a 19x29 from harbor freight. I have now moved on to shrink wrapping it myself. Still use the PVC frame though.
What size boat was this
pay attention to Linda
Helpful video thanks! It's actually easy to locate the pvc valve everyone. It's hard to get a camera to it. So when you look back their you'll find it easily. It's pointed and screwed in, downward with a black vacume tube attached to the top of it. You will see the greenish color of it in visible view. I need to replace mine in the 2014 nissian maxima.
Thanks. Did it lower your engine oil consumption? I have a 2009 Maixma which looses some oil in between changes (no leaks but it seems to be burning some)
I never noticed less oil consumption but it may have affected it.
These engines are notorious for leaking oil into the spark plug tubes. The valve covers are plastic. The spark plug tube seal will harden and allow oil to flow pass them into your spark plug tubes. The rear valve cover usually fails first. Hopefully you can repair it before you damage your ignition coil due to being submerged in oil.
I have the same mower. There is no need to drop the the deck or remove the steering triangle plate. Simply jack the front wheels off the floor, open the engine hood. turn the steering to the extreme right if thats the side you are working on. Now look straight down through a 11/2 " access hole in the frame and the nut will come into view. Socket wrench required.
I just installed a set of 235/45/18 on my sonata and they are so quiet and smooth. Better deal price wise and quality. Hope they will last long.
What color did you use?
The color is called oyster
Another example of someone that talks too much.
I just fixed one of these, fixing oil consumption is an understatement the car had a cloud of smoke behind it every start up. Completely fixed it all I did is spray the pcv out with brake cleaner and changed the vacuum hose out. I think the vacuum hose was the main problem it was collapsed and full of gunk.
Gotta do my moms Murano. Thankfully it doesn’t have all the plastic on the sides, so access should be slightly better. Whoever designed the intake plenum for the VQ should be shot. There is zero reason for it to cover the rear valve cover. I bet this is cake on the 350Z and G35. The pvc location should be right in front and wide open.
Its now Dec 2021 and just watched your video on the Vacuum. Thanks for going over the Vacuum, operation, and attachments. I got this vacuum on order and should get it in a few days. I guess from previous commenter the instruction manual is hard to read and understand - I will find out when I get mine - most of these are pretty straight forward to use. take care. Note: I guess black and decker and maybe other battery vacuums when the battery goes bad, thats it- time to buy a new one. Usually they last till the warranty is over, then the battery goes dead. I have an older Black and Decker and its battery does not hold a charge anymore, runs for no more that 30 seconds and then just dies. Too bad no replacement batteries and that makes all these vacuums useless and then becomes a throw away item - no way to recycle to make work. Too bad. I guess Black and Decker want to make more money selling new products and prices go up and up every year.
Bought mine 2 yrs ago wont hold charge now.
Read my comment I just posted about myself getting the vacuum and a NOTE on the batteries. Seems Black and Decker vacuums are throw away items like this one. There are no replacement batteries for B&D vacuums from another video I watched. Guess they want you to always buy new ones and then throw them away when battery dies or doesnt hold a charge. Kind of sucks but what can we do.
@@dathyr1 I have done this once before with this unit. Plug it in and keep the power on until it dies down and repeat. It works.
What size is the vaccumm hose coming off the vias solenoid?
Did you ever find out what size the hose is? Mine has a hole. Need to replace it
@debramartinez1020 hey, so I just replaced all of mine. You're talking about those slim vacumm hoses. They're 4mm wide internally. The nissan part number for those lines are 22310A. Also if you look up 2009 maxima vacuum hose replacement there's a guy with a video on exactly how easy it is and also instead of buying each hose he has the part number for the exact hose just long where you qould cut it to size. I'm not explaining it my best but look him up, I believe it's something like @scorpian media here on TH-cam. Hope that helps.
@@debramartinez1020 i found it for you, here it is th-cam.com/video/NNz57zzKvUY/w-d-xo.htmlsi=OOh9ZX176_Ct-yKc
Thanks for pointing out the stone coat is more of a colored epoxy with the chips suspended in it. None of the videos pointed that out. Or the fact the roller doesn't work. I found out the hard way just now.
Products of Casumina Vietnam.
Awesome!.
Thank you for this great review. I just bought one of these and the instructions are so small and poorly written that I was about to send it back. Then I came across your video, and you did the most important thing--demonstrate how to use it, and in a very clear manner. Thank you so much!!
Great review? The kid was annoying as heck!!
While I did pick up a couple of tips, it would be more helpful if you when doing a DIY video if you actually demonstrate how you did it, instead of just talking about what you did after it's done. It's too bad, because I really like your laid-back style. Your project looks very nice. I just finished my first coat of stone, and I agree that it looks like the flecks of stone are patchy. I will try a paint brush for the second coat. Also, I'm considering doing the peel and stick tile 🤞. It looks good, but I will have to find another video showing how to do it. Thank you.
Where is made this tire
Vietnam
Please remove or correct your video!!! You just have a stuck impeller. It’s frozen. None of what you did in this video will help that!
Thank you!!! Best review. I was wondering about the brushes on the floor attachment!! 5 stars!!!
Just bought one of these today. Thankful for the tutorial as I am working on doing a tune-up before putting it to work. Thanks.
Did you set the gap on the spark plug?
Bravoo👏
Cheep crappy tires. Bought at Walmart, rotated them every 5K miles, wore them out at 12K miles, Walmart warranted and prorated and had a second set put on, wore out in 15K miles. Awful in snow and rain. I will never waste my money on China tires again. You shouldn't either. All these reviews (most) never tell how long they lasted and performed after they were broke in. LOUD after 1/2 tread is gone. Spongy stops, and hop in wet and dry road fast take off. ABSOLUTE garbage. A crappy china tire. I don't care if they have been making tires in Taiwan since the 70's or no. Crap is crap. Don't listen to these review want to be are so clueless with their pipe dreams.
CRANKCASE / not a reservoir, it's a CRANKCASE.
You can’t see anything from this video and you didn’t even show exactly where it was. Better light next time and showing exactly where it’s located would be a lot more helpful. I didn’t get anything out of this vid
The video was free to you and he owes you nothing. How many videos have you published to help people? You got where it was located and he explained the possible fix for burning oil. Did you need him to tell you which way you need to turn to remove it…lefty Lucy, rightly tighty. Hopefully that helps you.
I love butcher block look.
👍🏼Now at Walmart $43-$98. Depending on your size. Highly recommended. Good choice and good job on posting this video Wizard of Woz. Nice "close ups" thank you. 🇺🇲Stay well. Go in peace.

Not sure about a fuel leak sorry. This part has a vacuum hose that attaches on top of it.
@@wizardofwoz8864 thanks for your reply I got it, it was a leaky injector on the middle ine under plenum after injectors services which is not noticeable untill I reach home Thats why I bought yesterday a boroscope with small lcd monitor irs ames brand so in case like this I know what it could be 😅
How did it hold up through the winter season? I'm about to do this myself.
It has been holding up very good. I have added a couple more side supports. The tarp only lasted 2 seasons, harbor freight of course. This year I am using the frame and shrink wrapping it myself.
How long is your boat? What’s the height of your PVC frame? How long of straps are needed to go around the boat cover?
My boat is 25ft and the height of the pvc frame is about 6'2 to 6'4 if I'm standing in the boat. Not sure what straps you mean but I use bungees at the bottom to hold it down. Random lengths all around the boat
Best review of this I've seen -- tells you how to clean the filter!
Wizard of Woz - is it possible your new shaft was too big of a diameter? It seems to me the new shaft is fixed in the lower mounting, meaning it cannot turn. If it also is fitting snugly into the impeller then that may be the reason the thing is not turning. I'm pretty sure the impeller was meant to spin freely on the shaft, while the shaft remained stationary. Thanks
Thanks!!! This vídeo was very helpful to fix my car, Nissan Altima Coupé 3.5 2010
So, i stopped watching half way in because your video does not show the exact process u used. Why not show us how u applied the primer, the top coat, etc. The how to is most important to many of us.
The Daich company has put out a few excellent SpreadStone How To videos on TH-cam. Just search for them.
