So uh...when you need more leverage to remove that crank bolt. Remove the blue rubber grip on the handle to reveal a 1/2 drive slot lol They don't advertise it from what I saw but it is there
Super awesome content Brandon. Doing the same thing f with a 12 sti hatch I recently picked up. Just working on the body and paint first bit will drop in a new built shortblock soon. Huge inspiration 😍😍🔥🔥🔥
Thanks so much Brandon! I already have my case halves machined by outfront with JE pistons and h tuff rods. All clearances/tolerances within spec. I essentially just have to assemble short block at this point which I have never done before but I think I can handle it. Fingers crossed everything goes well!
Love these Subaru Impreza WRX STI hatchbacks i got my eye on one $19985.00 canadian think that is a good deal. Needs very little work and has a ton of performance parts on it
nice transformation ! say , what kinda of pad or brush did you use for the adhesive on the door. tried goof off but still not doing the job to my liking. It was spead up in that section but it looked like it took it off no problem. any feedback is appreciated. thanks bro
Like, I said in the last vid, love a hatchback, I like the white a lot. I don't see many other colors. There's a few red STI's roaming around here in CT
Nice Build, Sad to see it go but sometimes we need to make mature decisions. I just recently had ACT clutch installed in mine, And some other goodies. I’m also barely starting my channel as well. Love ❤️ the red 800hp STI🤗keep the Vids coming!🙏🏽☺️
Killer job man! Makes me want to pull my motor for a full refresh. For the crank pulley bolt mine was really on there too. I spun the crank so the tool was against the ground (motor in car) and was able to break it that way. I tried the teamwork dreamwork approach but without the success you guys found. Cheers! edit: what did you apply before putting the valve covers back on? I pulled the driver side but haven’t had time to finish any of the things I started yet 😅
The TurboXS one that was on there wasn't really up to my spec, and a new ETS one didn't fit the budget, so I slapped on a stock top mount that I had laying around. Mostly everything was stock so it fit the build haha.
INSPIRATIONAL! Doing the same with a 2008 WRX here in Brazil. Subies here are sooo expensive, like my car here its like 20k usd...
Thank you! Best of luck with the 08!
Sad man that was someone’s baby. Awesome to see you making it good as new, inspired me to get a project wrx wagon!

Panser give him a park place in house so cute🥰 i love this 2 cars 🥰
How much did you pick this STi up for and what was the total cost of all the parts you out into it to refresh?? Curious about doing the same.. Thanks!
I just picked up my 11 Sti hatch 92,000 miles bone stock... What head unit are you using.
Damn son. So much inspiration in one video.
Are these parts on Amazon like front bumper and back plus side skirts

Thank you! I use ultra grey on those, just a light coat over the gasket. Never have issues if I use a tad bit of RTV.
Love this man i must show you my subie🥰
Hey what type of wheel did you use to remove the stickers / vinyl
I wanted to see you put that other bumper it came with lol was thinking about getting it
You don't want a Duraflex bumper haha. Get the real deal if you want that style.
18:48 What are you applying here? I need to do the same to my blacked out 2010 as these worn plastic pieces really stand out.
Cerakote Trim Coat!
New sub after this video 💪🏻💪🏻✅✅
Thanks so much!
why get rid of the fmic?
