That diy sandblasting idea is genius will definitely be using that in the future 👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻
Yeah I loved that.
What was the media tho?
I think walnut shell powder or something like that
brilliant indeed. I have some heavy vintage computer cases with rust and acid damage and THIS is the way forward.
for real this guy's a genius
I really appreciate how you took what many channels would make a 12-part series, with each part being the same length as this one video, and still managed to show us your full process without any annoying unnecessary commentary or editing. Stellar work and beautiful restoration.
Thats what i love hes straight to it and no bs
Most important comment here, channels that do the reverse with many ads/sponsorships just shouldn't be watched
True
@@gilgamarsh Restoring a car doesn't take one day. I love to see the whole proces and everything behind it. I actually like when it's in parts. You miss a lot of the good stuff. Because you saw one channel do their restoration in parts, with a lot of adds and pointless talking doesn't mean they are all bad.
I came here to say that! I can’t stand those stupid Tavarish videos.
Every single restoration you've done with the tools you have and make is just jaw dropping. What a talented guy you are!
As an EVO 7 owner myself, this restoration was extremely satisfying.. I’m now addicted to your videos !
had the 8 myself a good few years ago what a car
Damn!
5% talk, 500% action
And yet another classic saved!
Honestly that's really refreshing.
Plus no car vertical sponsorship!
That's one of the reasons I really like about his channel. No unwanted chit-chat or anything and just straight to the content. It's like those tutorial videos from 10 years ago, just simple.
Who knew these cars would become classics. I didn't sold mine years ago. Who knew🙄
1000%
Great to see you restoring these JDM classics and putting them back on the road. Ireland is full of JDM classics hidden in sheds and fields
Its an awful shame but yes great to see him doing them
Same with old muscle in America
I wouldn't say Ireland is full of JDM cars sitting idle. Finding an Evo Lancer lying around in a field is extremely rare. It's becoming a case of who you know, as anyone with these sorts of cars will be demanding top money if they advertise them, no matter the condition. Even finding a Civic that's been lying up is near on impossible these days. Fella's know what they have.
How the hell does he find them? is it possible to find them online, maybe import them here to England or do you have to know a guy who knows a guy etc.?
Legend saving legends 👌🏻keep it up !
As an evo 8 owner, im very impressed and glad to have people like you that take such amazing pride in your work. Thanks for the video. 🎉
Damn I remember the evos 7 and 8s old skool classics
Two things, be sure to cover the 2 extra holes for the evo 8 tail wing since it's a different spread. And get yourself some uv protective foil to put over the headlights since you sanded off the original coat during restoration. Otherwise they'll get yellow and cloudy quite quickly.
Nah don’t worry, since it’s in the UK that car will never see any sunlight lol
@@ianaumy XD true
Thank god you told him this. He might get water in the trunk while it's sitting in a garage
@@John_Lee_😂
@@ianaumy He's not in the UK mate
I don't know how you get to the point where you can be a mechanic, body man, videographer and entertainer all at the same time but damn. Loving it. Sweet ride to restore as well.
I wish I could work with him
@@gradyhernandez4699 Im sure a lot of us would love to work with him. :)
@@wilsonman73 he is gifted
I had a Kia ,five speed, single overhead cam and a Mazda protege, five speed, single overhead cam.loved the Mazda more but kia wasn't bad . then I bought a 07 PT cruiser, five speed. I'm into manual shifts..easier on pockets when clutch goes out!
@Landon-si5xc Allah is where sir (?)
Fast forward was not once pressed, shows how well this video was edited and above all else, how interesting and well captured all the scenes were. Bloody marvelous work and attention to detail.
Agreed! Normally I would best zipping through the waffly bits of other car restorers but this is fascinating
Nice job love your work!!!!
@@Landon-si5xc no thanks
Thanks for letting us ride along! Appreciative of your knowledge and labor doing many JDM classics justice. Keep them coming!
I watched a lot of car restorations here in youtube but this is the first time I see a car rebuilder using an improvised sand blaster🔥For me, he is better than the 90% of elite youtube car guys. He did not make excuses like delayed parts for the car etc.. He's so skillful and his work is extraordinary
Dude, these resto videos you're doing are the best I've ever seen on TH-cam. You manage to show every part of the process in clear detail with none of the nonsense youtuber chatter! Please keep them coming!
Exactly hands down the best youtube channel out there
Absolutely incredible transformation the sand blaster is a genius idea another jdm icon saved your a credit to youtube 👏
He doesn’t even use timelapse, great work 🔥
Где тут реставрация? Это просто восстановление чтоб продать подороже
❤😂🎉😢😮😅😊
Are you a robot? The amount of dedication and know how is just... Inhuman.
Relax... He does not work alone. Duhhhhhhhhhhhhhh
He did say he's Mad 4 Motors
Seeing you take so much pride in your work with your due diligence is an inspection. Thanks mate you’re the best. Keep up the excellent work.
You, sir, are an artist! The craftsmanship on this build is impressive!
Love this guy he does fantastic work
Living vicariously through these YT builds/restorations as i have no access to a garage. Love it
I was tearing up at the end...incredible job. So much work...inspirational fr
Youve got hands down the best car restoration videos on youtube. Your cars always come out pristine and tasteful
I am always astounded at the amount of work you are able to single handedly put into these restorations. Another amazing job.
This channel deserves so much more attention. Brilliant work!
Bro, I found your channel today and IMMEDIATLY subscribed. This is the most insane amount of work I have ever seen. You are a true pro at so damn many things, its mind blowing! And then I start looking at your previous restoration episodes. I can't wait to see some of the other restorations you have done!!! And you put months and months of work into a single 30min video? What have we done to deserve this?!?! AMAZING WORK, thank you!!!
No idea how you find the time for these builds (not to mention editing the videos for them).
Easily one of the top channels on TH-cam... No filler, all action.
Keep up the great work, so I can live vicariously though these vids and pretend it's me restoring all the Japanese imports I wanted back in the day.
@@Landon-si5xc shut up
@@Landon-si5xc shut up your non sense
it's fun to follow builds on some channels, spread out through multiple videos in series... but, sometimes it's nice to see the whole thing in one short(ish) video, too.
thanks for bringing this gem back to life, and for allowing me to live one of my dreams vicariously through you! solid work, mate.
@@Landon-si5xc um... allahu akbar?
@@Landon-si5xc what is allah
This is really really unseen full car restoration in one video!!! The amount of details and time he took made that car 🔥🔥🔥
The transformation from before to after is absolutely breathtaking, and I must say, I had quite a delightful watching the restoration process, especially with those makeshift sand blasting tools!
Love your videos, straight to the point and not stretched out for 25 episodes like some fix ups are.
Now this is what you call a restoration...great job my friend....you smash it!!!
*You did a better job than most expert professionals do that would charge an arm and a leg for this type of work. You rescued a gorgeous classic. And btw, the EVO 8 spoiler, looks better. I agree with you. Incredible job!!*
👍😊👍
That homemade sandblaster absolutely blew me away. so simple but so effective.
You’re videos are the best restoration videos on TH-cam. I could watch them all day everyday. You’ve a serious pair of gifted hands mate!
The sand blasting trick is probably the best hack I’ve seen yet.
Keep up the great work! Looking forward to the next ones!
The knowledge and skill set you possess is astounding. This is probably the most underrated channel on TH-cam.
Молодец! Хорошая работа! You have done a good work!!!
What a fantastic rebuild...and I love to see kids helping out..👍👌👍👍
Love your builds and the designs you choose. Any way you could do a break down as to what you paid for your barn finds and total cost to get it back to magic. Obviously your labors is that of love for the jdm game. bro mad props to you.
Respect from Panama, Latin America. Best restoration channel on youtube. Good japanese cars, good editing and amazing job.
Love seeing the jdm restorations, you do amazing work man. Always look forward to seeing your videos man. Keep up the good work.
Getting the little man involved is amazing ! Something he will never forget for the rest of his life ! Memories for life ! Love it
Looks absolutely gorgeous. Very much appreciated for bringing it back from the dead ❤❤
No episodes.
No BS.
Full restoration.
AAA TH-cam content.
Thank you!
LOVE that you actually get stuff done in a single video, and dont drag it out over years and years like some youtubers! (cough cough tavarish)
I’m lost for words.
Your so far beyond next level it’s astounding! Well done sir….🙏🏼🙂🙂👍
Except for the color, I think this is amazing!! Also, the sandblasting tool is impressive and extremely accurate. Great work!!
I can't praise this video enough. What I appreciate the most of all your builds is how you're able to restore even the smallest components, and don't rush off to just buy replacement OEM parts and swap them in and call it a restoration. From the small body fixes, cleaning up the calipers all the way to defogging the lights, there is no detail too small to be given some attention to, and this is another fine edition to your collection of restoration vids.
Love the work to keep these JDM legends on the road. Evo looks mega 😍
10/10 quality video. Deserve way more attention for your skill here.
I love your videos. I am surprised by the fact that you can do all by yourself. You have skills and you love what you do.
Impressive work as always!
Great work. We missed your videos 😊
One of the most satisfying car restorations I've seen, amazing job and color choice!! White paint, black grill and red emblem :D
You really are an artist in your craft! Beautiful car!!
That sandblasting trick is freaking genius!!! Edited to add - been watching you for a few years now and I love how you don't just work on the body or just the motor but the whole car. I love seeing how your technique has evolved. Keep it up!!
These videos never come quick enough. Legend
This is my first time on your channel, but I already love your videos. This level of professionalism, expertise and skill is truly astonishing 😮 💪You definitely have my subscription!!
Fair play buddy you’re workmanship is spot on, I can’t believe I’ve only now found your channel. Can’t wait for more projects 👍👍
You are so talented my friend, I’m so impressed. Props to you! You resurrected this evo 👏
Thank you for blessing us with these amazing restorations!
Thanks for the sand blasting ideas and thanks for keeping everything simple! SUPER!!
I really like your channel brother and specifically when you go get those old cars from the 80's & 90s and gave them a second life in the 21 century, god bless you for that,🙏👍🏻 Arizona USA..
Lots of careful consideration, preparation and editing goes into making these videos and the end result is so professional, not to mention the actual restoration. Really impressive stuff.
Man you go all out. You deserve every view you get get, top class work and great to see it being done on your own and in Ireland love it
you inspire me to have more patience with builds, God bless you.
THAT WAS A LOT OF WORK THANK YOU FOR BRINGING US ALONG FOR THE RIDE
Thank you for sharing this restoration with us. It's a fantastic car that surely deserved it! Honestly it's one of the most handsome generations of EVO. Also, this really reinforces that you can do this type of work yourself if you take the time to complete each process properly. I have a 1986 Nissan pickup that I'm hoping to restore when the southeastern U.S. cools down.
Always brings a smile to my face when you upload cause I always know it’s gonna be an unreal watch
You are the best at what you do and everyone can see that! But seeing that young man in your garage melted my heart! We can heal the world by raising our kids well! ❤️
I just love to watch your videos and admire your work. I don't know how many times I've been watching all your different projects and never get tired to see them again. You are doing eveything sooo perfect in every video. I wish I had your knowledge and experience so I could fix my car as you can. Thank you for all your videos and I'm looking forward for your next project.
I love these restoration videos. Simple, realistic budget cars out back to a fantastic standard giving them a new life. Too many restoration channels go crazy and send them off to high end body shops who do all the work. I enjoy watching the process you go through with them. Keep up the good work
Olá ! Sou do BRASIL e adoro o seu trabalho. Adoro assistir os vídeos como esse de reconstrução. Parabéns !!❤
That DIY sand blaster hold my beer 🍺 that was awesome 😎👊👍
another hidden gem of a channel found. cheers on the evo mate loved the work.
So much love and time put into it. This guy is the full stack developer of the car world 👏
Dude I am amazed by how you came up with that diy sandblasting idea. Absolute genius and thank you for showing us how you do it so we can take that into our own restorations! Definitely earned my sub.
This dude is a beast I wish I grew up learning car restoration because I love cars, this would of been my dream working on cars and making money off it
That diy sandblasting idea is genius will definitely be using that in the future 👍🏻)))
This might be your best restoration yet, and that's really saying something!
Let’s go! Can’t wait to see how this one turns out!
Such a great man doing this alone.. Thumbs up man..
The work you do on these csrs is amazing!
Yet another stunning restoration, you just keep out doing yourself. Very well done, it’s beautiful 👍👍
I love your transformation videos. I have to say, the way you did that makeshift sand blaster was amazing! You're truly a master of your craft. Keep up the great work :)
I love builds like this. No time to make excuses when you’re kicking ass like this all by yourself!! 🤘🏾
Im a big fan of this great mitsubishi evo since i watched in a fast and furious movies and this restoration was AMAZING! You gave another life and i loved the new paint in white and of course the new updates in fiber carbon!! Great style!!
I can never get enough of your content properly one of the only channels I never fast forward ⏩ and the attention to detail is remarkable, keep it up 👍🏼 looking forward to the next one ❤ keeping our childhood cars 🚗 on the road 🎉
I love these videos so much, the fact you can do almost every part of the restoration process is impressive 👍🏼
How is possible less a car like this japanese beauty on a backyard ? 😮
unlike a lot of youtubers you're to the point yet still show what is most important, love it.
Loving the work, outstanding result. Would love to this kind of thing myself, but alas no room!
Man, I admire you endlessly. Your hands are growing out of the right place.
P.S. the sandblast that you made yourself is incredible! 👋
Holy hell that sandblasting trick is GENIUS. Great video all around.
Love your videos man, the time you put in to these resto’s is amazing. Clean and perfect. If you ever get a mk4 golf gti, I will personally come n buy it 🤌🏼 lol good work on the cars n videos dude
You're the only channel where I'll actually go and frequently rewatch content; love your videos so much and they inspire me to get my ass into gear with my car 😂
Amazing restoration and true reflection of craftsmanship, determination, and attention to detail. Was a pleasure to watch!
Only mad respect for your work, you are really skilled.
