This videos is awesome. It feels old but in a good way, the good old days of car TH-cam. The editing style, the music and the car itself. Everything feels nostalgic yet it’s still fresh. Great work
Incredible work on the car and the video, the transformation when you wrapped it was literally jaw dropping. Thanks for sharing this, you're seriously talented.
I had a 2013 STI with 350whp mustang dyno. I upgraded everything except the engine internals. Held 22psi to redline in 4th on a blouch dom 1.5xtr. It was a blast to drive. Watching this brought back a lot of memories of pulling all nighters wrenching on it. Props to you bro doing all that work by yourself. Its deff not easy to do. If you haven't done it yet, but a one piece driveshaft on it. I had a cabon fiber one on mine and I gained like 8-9whp no lie.

I love the sound of subie engines, but the HP per dollar is not good. It takes a ton of money to get up to 800hp on a subie. The pro quit working on subie engines after an 8 month super build that he did blew up. It was rated for 850, and it blew up at 650 hp. He was incredibly careful, crazy meticulous, and a very successful guy. He lost his sh#t when it blew. After joining a friend on a v8 build, he was amazed at how much cheaper it was and how much better the HP per dollar was. He now exclusively works on v8's. The other guy tried working on a subie as a hobby. He gave up after the 4th blown engine. I don't know how skilled this guy was nor do I know if he was detail oriented enough to build an engine, but I DO know that he built some pretty wild k20's that were both crazy and reliable.
