In this mini video series I'd like to share my adventure into digital FPV drones with the DJI digital FPV system. It's going to be a slightly different video type where I'd like to focus more on the story and the experience, while at the same time still showing the complete setup guide. I have chosen the Holybro Kopis2 HDV drone to carry the DJI air unit and will be releasing the next video in the series as soon as I get my hands on the digital FPV system. Happy flying!

Dont use the antenna mounts they cause bad range buddy!! I have the same drone actually i have 2 of those and trust me put the antennas straight up or one pointing forwards and the other one pointing backwards.. Good luck

Thanks, that's a great tip! For the maiden I'll still probably run stock in order to see the issues, but then I'll adjust according to your recommendation. I'm also not sure I'll be very pressured for range, but I have so many tests in my mind for the digital setup. Very excited.
The only problem is I ordered this on March 9th, and it's still not here, just yesterday (May 1st) I saw some tracking info update finally. So soon hopefully 🎉!

do you think this is beginner friendly?

Hmm it depends, because that beginner friendly threshold could be different for different people. For what this set is, I consider it beginner friendly in a sense that it's really easy to setup if you follow the instructions and don't have to do too much extra tinkering to get it to work reliably. Should it be your first ever quad though? If you are careful, go slow and take the time to learn, you can make even that work, but I still think most people should try at least a bit of time in a simulator or at least at the very least with a micro quad.
