Hi Matt, great videos. Have you tried using a 4 inch lens in your epilog and do not use the rotary for rotating the glass. no distorting the drawing. Thanks for the great videos.
Thanks for the video. If you can I would love to see more videos. I am just starting out. I am getting my Xtool D1 today and I could use all the advice and info I can get. Thanks again, love the channel
Thank you for your videos and the opportunity to buy the svg/pdf! I bought my boss LS 1630 last March and I have turned it on once. It is pretty intimidating, but your videos really help. Any amount of content you make is much appreciated.
Matt thanks for all the help with the tapered glass. I used your method to do the layout then I used Lightburn with the 16 point warp and ran parallel to the inverted lines and it worked really well. I also individualized the letters and added a bit or height and width and this also helped. Thanks for your videos, your enthusiasm and all the extra special help. By the way I love my Thunder. Wanting but waiting on a fiber laser till later. Stay happy and busy!
Matt I always enjoy your videos I enjoy your upbeat attitude and great tips and tricks. I know it's a lot of work but if you put videos on Friday I will be watching thanks.
I don't have my laser yet so I know nothing at all except what I've been watching from TH-cam. Love your content. Question I have is do you use a straight rotary or is it adjustable? I didn't know if this was only for using a straight one, and if you had adjustable one did you still need to do this?
I am wanting to start a business with a laser engraver. I am new to this, but have been watching hing your videos. I have so many questions and I have no idea how or where to start. Can you give e me some advise as to what I should start of with making and the best laser to purchase?
Matt, thank you for the info. I don't have Corell, but use Gimp for editing. Many of those programs have a perspective "crop" feature that automatically skews the image to whatever angle you tell it. Might be easier than adjusting points etc.
@@laserengravingwithmatt Awesome! Thank you. I just found your channel so I've got a lot of catch up to do. I appreciate your willingness to share your knowledge.
Do you still lift the bottom with spacers? Do you use the rotating attachment with this method? Weekly videos would be awesome, more laser time. Like next week engrave the glass.
Where the files? Your etsy shop is empty. Love the help though. I am struggling to make something i can sell, but love the ideas behind all this. Give me something to look forward too.
I'm not familiar with the all the editing tools in CorelDraw, but I would bet they have a "Perspective" option for stretching an image like they do in Photoshop or Illustrator. By using a "Perspective"-based stretch, it will stretch the entire image evenly and equally to match your desired angle-guides, without having to do it node-by-node. Might be something to look for! :)
Hey, how did you determine what "opposite" was on the stretch line? I need to do something like this on illustrator for 20 oz yetis, polar camels, pint glasses, etc. thanks much!!!
Almost 2 min and nothing but yapping. No information on what program/screen you are using to align the logo. Pitiful instructions. Not knocking the end result just not helpful for newbies.
I’m just getting started and I really enjoy your videos. Every Friday would be great.

Thank you for the video. I’m new to doing this and it’s been incredibly helpful !
Any chance you've got a video for doing full wraps on tapered Yeti's? I just can't wrap my head around it.
I think I did. I have done so many of them.
Every Friday dude ! Thank you

I use adjustable on. But you can use a straight one just put a tape roll on the end of the glass to make it level.
@@laserengravingwithmatt ok so that still happens even with the adjustable ones?
More Fridays please and thank you
👍
Thank you for all the tips! Have you ever done a 360° design on a tapered tumbler? If so can share how you did that?
Yes I did and I can do that.
Every Friday would be awesome!

That all depends on your budget
