Thank you so much for your cheat sheet. It was a great place for me to start with my laser. I have the Atomstack X20 Pro 20w diode laser. I created a material test using your data and I was actually able to increase speed and lower power slightly. My best results for names on a Yeti were 740-28-450.

One tip about your mention of homing causing collisions.... There are settings in Lightburn under Machine Settings/Vendor settings to allow you to turn off X and Y homing if you are using your rotary a lot and leaving it on the table.

Great video! Do you have any tips for avoiding the smoke staining that can be seen on light colours like white?

Thanks for providing your chart! I just received a Nova 63-130 so this is very timely. On your chart, are the three or more different settings for each color the "range" you spoke of, and, if so, are they somewhat in order of most used setting to least used? Thanks.

When you mentioned that the steps per rotation was off due to a Lightburn update, did the number itself change in the settings or the the setting needed to be changed? For example your normal SPR for a 32oz tumbler is 5000 and when you checked it was at 5500 or was it still at 5000 and just didn't work anymore.

My settings in lightburn did not change. So per your example, 5000 stayed 5000. But those settings were then off when I sent the file to the laser. I had to do some testing to then figure out what the new number would be for the steps per rotation. Now, every time I get an update, I make a note to confirm whether the SPR changed. It doesn’t happen to everyone, and I don’t know if it was just Mac users or if it was just a random event for some.

@@addicted2diy thanks for the clarification. I'll add that to the checklist.

Hi Katie, I followed the cup link, however, I cant seem to find a way to order 16 individuale colors. Each color comes in (6) pieces at $70. That would come to $1120. Pretty steep for testing. Am I missing something on the order page?
