Yeah, I noticed, but I didn't pay any attention to it--I do the same thing. In your defense, after engraving flat items, 90% of the time, my tray is too high. So I have to power on to lower it just so I can power down and connect the rotary. So, just a day in the life for me! LOL
Matt, that was awesome!! I do not currently have a laser but want one sooooo badly....but at my old job I had access to an epilog..love those guys! One of the best did I say best customer support teams around...easy to work on to replace any part necessary. So with the rotary can you use the center center function? That way to center the top to bottom of the mug, jug or flask....oh yeah glass, cooler etc??
Where do you purchase your steel tumblers for engraving? I've searched you video's listing area and could not locate a store to buy the best tumblers for engraving. I love your videos and you stay on track and have a good personality! Keep them coming.
Hey Matt, unrelated to this specific video, but would you mind trying an image processor from imag-r and seeing what kind of result you get through the epilog on any print medium (scrap)? Supposedly this free service online processes an image quite nicely for laser engraving and since I don't have my laser yet, I wanted to see if you wouldn't mind trying. Thanks much!
Need your help Matt do you have any idea how the company trace my space cuts foam to scale from a picture so I can do my toolbox? You take a picture with a quarter in each corner and the measurements of the drawer. And they cut gun cutouts and tools etc
I can do it no problem if I have it in my possession, but they make you take a pic and they use auto tracing software. They are not some major company I almost bought 3 years ago for 50k so their software has to be accessible. If hear of anything share
I wouldn't buy a cup like that from any company. It looks too easy to knock over, making it usable only in cup holders in a car or sofa. That would negate the purpose of having nice engraved work on it. Or am I the only clumsy one around here?
Phenomenal video!!! You’re teaching me everything need to start this new business venture of mine!
Awesome
I’m glad you showed your mistake. I do a 3 round re check before I hit start cause I’ve messed up plenty lol 👍🏻
Great start. Looking forward to the series.
Love it
😃
Great vid, man! This inspired me to try a wraparound design with my fiber laser! It turned out great!
That’s awesome glade to help.
I’m not commenting. . Lol. . But this is a Laaaaser video. Oh man, I like that design.
😂 yeah Sara liked it too so I guess I need to make me one now.
Hey Matt! Have you tried engraving a Stanley style cup which tapers at the bottom?
Yes.

We use rtic and a little bit of marrs cups. But marrs has been out of stock on the ones we want.
Any opinions on Mac vs PC? Which is better?
It’s all preference

I can try that in one of the next videos.

I have no idea. You have me thinking now. I always measure the Gus or tools and the drawers.

I’ve been having trouble scanning QR codes I engrave into cups
Check your measurements for your cup. You might have to stretch the QR code to make sure it is square so it reads right
Hey Matt, Is there a way to get in touch with you other than this forum?
You can email me. The email is in my TH-cam about page.

It is a really nice cup and not that easy to knock over but I know what you mean.
Oh, sure, now it's a beauty, but without the killer design, pass. I think it looks good with the design flowing past the base line.
