Got to be honest. Mine doesn't regulate temperature properly and customer service has been terrible. I end up having to use my mini iron to finish the patches. It doesn't heat evenly either. It has not worked at all with my plastisol transfers. Maybe I got a bad one but going to just call it a loss and dish out the money and get a Stahls or Geo Knight.

Spot on about the failing. That's a huge hurdle. Especially when you're a perfectionist. (I hate messing up product or making mistakes. But you're right you just got to do it)

Great Job. Tons of bad reviews out there about this and similar one part epoxy paints. The products work but most of the failures are die to bad prep. Any stains need a degreaser product and solid cleaning. Then when dry a good etching. Then make sure it is very dry before bonding coat and then make sure that’s dry. Most people skip, cheat or are impatient causing the failures.

Just got mine and I’m getting wrinkles on my first few hats. Any thoughts?

Dont get a place in town. From all the stuff I'm learning as I slowly get started is if you can do it on you property then there is not extra overhead cost and you can claim the work space as a deduction on taxes.
