    To me this video doesn't really cover how to get the "frosty" look, more so how to verify the placement of the art work. Maybe I am missing something.....?

      Speed power dithering dpi and 80 on the gray scale. You can go a little darker color and it won’t be as nice or faster speed. Best of luck!

    Blue tape saved my bacon when engraving a logo on champagne flutes. I had a round logo and forgot to allow for the curvature of the glass. My test on blue tape reminded me and saved having to replace the customer’s glasses.

    Great video Matt!! just out of curiousity, do you have a walk out basement? would like to setup my basement as a workshop but I don't think I'll be able to get a laser machine like your blue one down the stairs as its around 375lbs plus the weight of two guys bringing it down and the staircase holding the weight. Was wondering how you set the lasers up down there. Might have to use my garage but my basement has more room. Thanks!

    Great video Matt. Question; did you use anything to prepare the glass with, like dish soap or anything else? If not why? I have seen many others use soap or something else to prep the glass. Dan C.

    I have a K40 Laser Machine, I am trying so badly to engrave on some glass award crest, but in any how nothing is engraving on it. Do you have any suggestion for me for any specification that I need to use?

      You have to measure the bottle and put those measurements as your page size. Then do a test run to make sure it works.

    Hey Matt- love the flag! Question for you about the dithering- (you're not the first person I've heard reference this and I can't figure it out) Using just a font on Lightburn and Thunder laser, how do I adjust the 'grayscale' or dithering? I cannot seem to find the answer anywhere. TIA!

      @laserengravingwithmatt7833  3 หลายเดือนก่อน +2

      Hello and thanks. So this was done in my Epilog and that’s what Epilog uses. If I did it in my thunder laser it would be in the speed settings and you would adjust the line interval. I use 500 speed and 15 power and .08 LI and I like to focus in to 4mm to the object

    • @laserengravingwithmatt7833

      When you burn the glass just the glass is 30 speed hundred percent power. When you are etching the tape so you don’t burn the glass you would go 100% speed in 12% power. The tape is only used to make sure the etching is in the right spot.
