- Battery died and doesn't hold a charge. Razer wants me to send it for replacement but costs over $500! I decided to do it myself for less than $100

I have the 2017 razer blade stealth 13.3 with the i7-7500u. The replacement you linked doesn’t have my my product number but this looks like the right battery

Bassel Dahleh No I didn’t buy this exact one but yes this is the right battery. The original battery number is rc30-0196.

Thank you for the tutorial! I'm almost there in fixing my swollen battery. But I'm stuck trying to unscrew the screws to the cord of the battery. What size are you using? Torx? Phillip? Less than 1.4mm? Thank you for your time!
I used a phillips ph 0x50 screwdriver

Was the bottom case bent because of the swollen battery?
Reiji Takahashi mine was not bent but swollen enough to look bent. It resolved after removing the old battery

I lost some of the screws. Do you happen to know which ones they are for the 2017 Blade Stealth?
I no longer have this laptop so I can't check for sure, if you google it, it is m2x3.5mm size, the razer uses torx t5 but you can use philips head if you want

Not sure, perhaps it was a bad or incompatible battery, try a different one
@@tkf6449 I double checked and the model is right, maybe its the square thing.. do you have any tips for connecting the little square connector thing? To snap it into place?
So, my computer simply doesn't come on. Think taking the battery out and putting it back in might help?
This happened to my wife's. I simply unseated and re-seated the hard drive and it popped back up.
