      Matthew, why is Razer collecting data using keylogger-like style to record what user type and click by putting useless bloatware Synapse in the background processes? Many users and gamers are complaining.
      I was rezearching for a 17 inch laptop to buy and the other model 17.3 in 4k 120hz interests me, but found out the truth of this garbage company with unethical businesses practices. Search "Razer Synapse data collection" online and see many users have complained and uninstalled this useless Razer for invasion of privacy.

      Another garbage company. Please address this issue honestly and ethically. The Synapse software appears to work like a mining software to track and record what user click, and send back these data in the name of product improvement. Total garbage and invasion of privacy.

    • @AS-er4ud
      @AS-er4ud 4 ปีที่แล้ว

      You're probably right, especially when you consider that it's lighter, thinner, and the power brick is more portable. That said, games like Diablo 3 are just barely playable on the previous gen setup (I know because I have one), whereas, this new one would provide a substantial performance boost and make gaming more viable on the go. Someone needs to make a performance comparison video to show the true difference.

      It makes no sense to have a higher refresh rate on this setup. Most games will run closer to 60 than 100+, so what's the point? A higher refresh rate would also reduce battery life. This is a very niche product. It's for people who travel and require the slimmest possible footprint while still being able casually play most games at medium settings.

    I can see why it's priced so high. Razer is pretty much the only tech company to even have a 13 inch GAMING laptop. They can price it as high as they want. Once competitors catch up, we will literally get what we have all been waiting for: Portability and performance that doesn't break the bank too much. This laptop is a stepping stone and I'm hella excited for what's to come.

    You said you were getting ~5 hours of battery life; what percent brightness were you using? Researching this device's battery life has been confusing. Some reviewers say 7 or 8 hours with this 1650 model, some say 5-6. Also, do you think a 2020 refresh is coming soon like the blade 15's you just previewed (keyboard revision, rtx super, Type-C charging etc), i.e. should I wait? The G14 is dope under the hood, but I love the premium black macbook-esque unibody design. Great content btw.

    Ok idk what’s with tech reviewers or whatever, but man every time someone talks about the razerblade 13 they film it at an angle that makes you think it’s not that tiny. Maybe it’s cuz of their cameras and whatever shooting angle they’re using. But bruh, I went to go see this thing at a store and it is TEENY like it’s chrome book size wtf I was shook lmao

      Ya the more I think about it the cpu performance is not acceptable and it’s not performing the way it should. I’m actually speaking to razer about it. I am very very disappointed with Razer. I have the RBS MX150 2019 early model bought on December 2018 and I had lots of issues: battery, power management, loose usb-c ports, sound crackling. Their support is poor at best. It took 1 month to be accepted for repairs and over 1 month to repair it. No feedback from them during this time. It is still in repair shop. Stay away from Razer. With these money buy something more reasonable and save some money.
