The only one that I agree with you on this for is the Super Flower. The weird mushroom is meant to look weird and is hilarious. Boo Mario is awesome. Who wouldn't want to be a ghost who has swag? The gold flower isn't for collecting lives, it's for trying to get 1,000,000 coins. I don't think the lives really matter anyway. It's not like you're gonna lose them all. The light box thing is actually amazing because it can kill the ghosts and the only other power-up that can do that in the game is the star. The Mini Mushroom has to be the most useful power-up in New Super Mario Bros. It can get you to worlds that weren't possible to get to before. The ability to jump higher is SO useful! The goomba mask is awesome and one of my favourite power-ups in 3D World. The Potted Piranha Plant is super useful in 3D World and MK8 and seriously, how are you going to drop it easily?! You act like it's super easy to drop but it's not that hard to keep your thumb on a button. The spring mushroom is hilarious and super fun to use. The P-Balloon... okay I think I agree with you there but your list is just terrible.

See I feel the gold flower is misplaced on this list just because the coin motif. If you look at it objectively, it's a single level use item that launches essentially explosive fireballs. Sure it's not the most original in that sense but it seems much better than a top worst item
It can even kill enimes that you can't kill normally with the fireflower and can get you more lives as well. I find it the most fun powerup to play with (outside of the cat suit and tanuke suit) in the mario series :]
I think the skinny mushroom is my favorite because Mario just looks weird with it on

I personally like the idea of the boo mushroom. It’s great they managed to add a little bit of variety in a already incredible game. I mean they might look quirky but what did you expect?
I still think that Super Mario Galaxy's are both the best Mario games out there.
in one of the stars in Mario Galaxy (i forgot the name of it), you had a choice of either the bee mushroom or the boo mushroom, and i obviously went with the boo mushroom because unlimited flight

KingOfGames my point with 6 was that you look at them once they die and you never have to look again...cause...they're dead
It is still quite a terrible powerup considering how boos aren't even enough of a threat to warrant a specific powerup towards them in the first place

Look, the gold flower is superior to the fireflower in every way. It does what the fireflower does, but it also gives you coins. Yes, you might not need them, but it’s at least better than not getting any coins at all.
Plus it has a large damage radius.

I didn't expect the Gold Flower being on the list. Yes, you turn into a golden recolor mario but it only has advantages. It's massively powerful version of the fire flower. Yes, the main gimmick it's there is because it turns stuff into coins but that is literally nothing compared to it's distructive power. The impact of a Golden Fire Ball is immense. Fire Mario is nothing compared to it. Outclassed completely like the Penguin Suit outclasses the Ice Flower in the NSMB games.
Also I don't get why the Goomba Mask and the Light Bolb are considered power ups. Is Yoshi a power up? Yoshi can get power ups itself too.
I am surprised the Frog Suit didn't make it.

The Goomba mask doesn't make Goombas to mistake you as one of their own, it makes *ALL* enemies mistake you as one of their own, nothing will try to attack you while on that. (Yes, it's only usable in that one level, but it still would work anywhere assuming you had it).

This really should be "Ugliest" or "Least Liked" or something along those lines. Almost all the ones you listed are incredibly powerful in game and the reason you don't like them is because you don't like the way they look.

How have you not included the cheat items that appear when you die enough times?
To me the best power ups are the ones that are the most fun to use. So, the ones that are unique or add a new game mechanic are usually high on my list. So the Boo power up, and the light Box are ones I actually enjoy, and the Mini Mushroom is one of my all time favorites to use. The only one I completely agree with you on is the spring due to its difficulty to use. The Tall Mario and the Goomba mask are not great, but not horrible either. I am not a huge fan of the Potted Pirhanna Plant, but that is mainly due to it making things too easy. I am not a fan of overpowered power ups. The rest I have not used, so it is hard for me to judge them.

How did the awkward mushroom get on but the mushroom wasn't below it because the weird mushroom makes you jump higher than the regular mushroom... and how is the mini mushroom better than the Goomba because the Goomba lets you take another hit while the mini mushroom makes you really really vulnerable... And how is the poison mushroom not number one because it follows you around and it legit Hurts you... And how is the Golden Flower not better then the fire flower because the Golden Flower does exactly what the fire flower does but it gives you coins... Your explanation for hating the Gold Flower is just so weak and bland. "It's for greedy people." Sure, you get a lot of coins in the game already, but that doesn't necessarily make it bad. Also, it's really fun to use by throwing at a bunch of bricks.
Your explanation for hating the Potten Phirana Plant is exaggerated. "What kind of powerup is this? The kind of powerup that will try to murder you the moment you have your back turned?" That's the point of the powerup. The plant isn't even a power-up, it's more of a tool or item. You get to control the plant for as long as you like. The plant isn't even supposed to turn good when you drop it, it proceeds to acts like normal and tries to eat Mario as usual.
