I like how like half of this list has some of my favorite mario kart characters. I Love playing as obscure characters that only appeared in 1 or 2 games. Or silly Goofy enemies like Wiggler. Without characters like these I think Mario Kart just has a boring roster of characters. It's fun seeing different corners of the Mario universe come together in one game. I wish they would add like warioware characters, and like atleast 4 or 5 donkey characters just so we get a whole variety of games from this universe coming together into Mario kart.

Indeed (haven't played as Petey though) Rob and Wiggler are probably some of my favourites. Especially Wiggler with his amazing getting hit animation. It just calm me down going "YEAH LET'S GET PAYBACK AND KILL THAT STUPID (insert character here)".
R.O.B. for me was fun since I played him in battle mode, and just did a fun thing which I call the R.O.B. Shop. Basically camp at a item block, put Bananas, Fake Item Boxes etc. in the item block or around it, and just have fun watching the chaos. I just enjoy just sitting in the corner of the map with the pipes and throwing a fake item box on top of the corner and use it as my logo... it was tons of fun.
