8GB really just isnt enough RAM for a gaming laptop. But there are a ton of GREAT deals on this laptop when you buy it with 8GB and buying another 8GB stick is super cheap. 16GB IS enough RAM for a gaming laptop. Therefore - its a great idea to buy this laptop and beef up the ram a little bit.
