i can't believe this thing exists. This is perfect for any college student who doesn't want or have the space for a desktop. It is also not tacky looking which is a big plus for me.

@@enegizedadam legion starts around $1500 and this laptop you can get for around $700. You can tell the legion has twice as nice a screen. Not as nice as the newer laptops that will crash trying to play video games. It is also about twice as heavy. I believe this is the best budget option for video games besides an actual console which then uses your tv as resolution so your experience here might vary.

Good for gaming and a first computer experience. Definitely a good buy for the price. Although it's better to go high. But for entry level gaming, this is excellent.

Interesting review! I had my doubts, mostly due to the screen quality. The price dropped to 550 US from 799 and I pulled the trigger. Mind you, I am primarily on Mac for dev work, including the iPad Pro. The one thing I couldn't do with the iPad was code....thus a need for a cheap dev laptop. I was very pleasantly surprised. This is actually a great gaming laptop for the price of a decent Chromebook! Gaming (what little I do) has been pleasureable for sure. I upgraded to 16GB and its dialed in! Wait for the sales and buy it!
The screen is only a drawback if you're sensitive to colors. Otherwise, it's still a solid budget purchase.

Same case I needed a laptop for coding and a few other things and got this bc it went on sale for a ridiculous deal it was between this and a MacBook Air but I’ve never been a big MacBook fan and have my iPad for notes and other small tasks really enjoy the laptop though

How's the heat on it? Because it really doesn't seem well-ventilated. There are no fan openings on either side, and the one at the back looks pretty narrow.

bought a 15inch victus during 2022 black Friday for US$700. Ryzen 7 5800H, 16gb ram, 512 ssd, and with a gtx 3050ti. Price to performance was the best compared to the others. And with 16gb ram was the best purchase I made in the last 2 years.

I'm getting the Ryzen 5 7535HS RTX 2050 variant with 32GB of ram and 1TB NVME. Seems like it'll be a reasonably priced workhorse for portable Vtubing and maybe some gaming at the same time.

I came here just to look at the KB layout. Seriously, who tf approved the location of the power button, especially placed close to the 2 regularly used key, del and backspace. I had this once with my Acer, close to home button. Its very hard for typing work, sold it after a year.

Same, im thinking about getting the 16 gb 1 tb 3050ti for 850 w my first job, it said around 9 hrs, and you can disable gpu and put performance mode on for battery.
I'm looking for school work and gaming (maybe streaming too) and this is one of the better picks. I have an old HP omen 15 from 2017 which while worked well enough for gaming it wasn't the greatest. It has an HDD instead of an SSD and has only 8gb of ram so games like cs2, valorant and many other games don't run very well. That's why I want to upgrade this year.

@@paul8645 I recently got one for around £550 GBP and I have to admit to start with I wasn't expecting much, but I can honestly say that this laptop has really surprised me, ok you can't run all games on the highest settings but you can have a mix of medium to high and they still look pretty and you still get decent FPS. plus if you live in the UK you get a free headset and nice usb mouse if you buy from Argos so even better :)
I havent really turned on my main gaming rig since getting it as I love the portability and being able to just play a game where I am, also if you can upgrade it to 16gb for that extra bit of performance.

Guys would you recommend it for playing Sims 4? I know real gamers don't think much of that game but by now sims has over 50Gb and with Cc and mods even more. It's in general very big game with tons of loading screens which are preventing me from playing on my current laptop.

As Victus 15 user myself, I think all the function given by this laptop is more than enough for me to handle all my daily works,doesn't matters if it's about working or playing games.With 8gb ram and 512gb ssd storage that can be expanded, this laptop can be upgraded at any time.
