looks really good, doesnt come off as a Kaizo hack, but a well thoughtout difficulty hack for seasoned veterans, them's the kind of difficulty hacks i adore and respect.

A Kirby RPG in the style of SuperStar Saga is my dream game
I have a mod idea, take a Mario And Luigi game (preferably Bowser's Inside Story), and replace Mario with Kirby, replace Luigi with Bandana Dee, replace Bowser with King Dedede, replace Starlo (or another sprite character, depends on whichever one you mod) with Eflin, and why not replace Princess Peach with a blue Kirby in a dress
This would be the closest we get to a Kirby RPG

She was only playable on Kirby Star Allies, so probably expect mods for that.
Adeleine is Waluigi levels of underused. Her ability to bring paintings to life has so much potential to make her the protagonist of her own adventure.
She's playable in Star Allies, that's about all the representation most side characters get.

You have no idea how much my heart leapt seeing him bring up Kirby Battle Blitz, the videos those characters came from were a big part of my childhood and I love that game so much because of it

So I think that ROM with the Baboombas are suppose to be the bomb boos from Mario Galaxy but then they created a better name than Bomb Boos

Hi, I made the colorizations of Pinball Land and Dream Land 2, doing all the hacking and colorization work myself for both. I'm very glad you found them worthwhile, it means a lot to me. Also funny you mention my DL2 colors "outshining" Adventure sometimes, it's worth noting that the GBC can display more colors than the NES can, so the potential to outdo the NES visually already goes way up when you go from the original GB to the GBC :)

i HATE when people speak like authorities on subjects they don't know anything about (people talking about unused content for example)
really frustrating, there's a big difference between not showing some mods and saying that no mods exist besides skins, or emulator features, etc. that and how you talked about the stuff you did show felt really rude, it's not funny to make fun of people's work, stuff like "maybe in 10 years this will be something good but right now this is what we got" is just incredibly disrespectful to all the hard work and passion people put into stuff

istg I snorted in laughter when I saw Shadow replacing Fecto Elfilis, it makes so much sense, they're both ultimate lifeforms and Shadow would totally worldhop to find 'that damn fourth chaos emerald'
You should look into the Air Ride modding and netplay scene sometime! There's a surprising amount of development taking place!

You should go look up the unfair Magolor Ex and unfair Magolor Soul mods when you get the chance! That version of the fight is hilarious because of the amount of stuff happening on screen. Along with the funny music in the background!

As someone who played Kirby’s adventure on the NES classic, I have to say it is amazing to see so much love put into a true classic!

ant i just want to say thank you for getting me into the kirby series. from watching your videos on the games in the series it made me want to try them out so I started with amazing mirror then went to triple deluxe then planet robobot next star alies and ending it off with the forgotten land and have had some of the most fun expierences ive had in gaming so once again I owe it all to you thanks

I got one thing to say: Unfair Magolor Soul's attacks were an actual inspiration (obviously) for the True Magolor Soul Boss from Deluxe!
Failboat has been modding Forgotten Land and breaks it almost every time. Worth checking out just to laugh at.

16:23 With the mod that removed the outlines getting a shoutout here, I'm a bit surprised you didn't also bring up the mods that swapped out King Dedede's model. Like, he looks fine and all, but I can definitely see some people not completely vibing with his new look in particular. There's two that I know of; One that uses his original KRtDL model, and another which uses his Star Allies model, both of which, like the outlineless mod, do provide what's advertized for anybody too purist to prefer the new look above the Wii original

That kirby fighting game looks WILD! I Recognize some of those characters from fan kirby animations! THAT IS COOL!
The hack I'm most excited about is Magolor wii (rtdl), a rom hack that replaces every character with magolor, but they don't just replace the models with magolor's, some enemies actually have unique new magolor models, and there are even new copy abilities, not to mention you play as magolor and he has ability hats

I am aware of Kirby Battle Blitz. Been watching DestructionSeries way back then. But I have no idea about the romhacks and fangames outside of that Flash Kirby game. But the moment he said Randomizer, Amazing Mirror comes to my mind right away.
And the 2 Sprite Fan Games are very interesting too with its cool movesets.
The last ones though, I remember those early Sonic Fan Games that I don't know what engine is used but they all have those early 2k qualities of fangames. They are bad but its the bad quality that makes everyone feel so nostalgic.

Quite surprised that you didn't mentioned Kirby Warrior RPG. These rpgmaker games are my childhood ahah. The last game from this guy "Kirby RPG Buster" was quite nice. It looks like a Megaman game.

The ROM hacks and fan games are indeed such a joy to watch. It’s nice that people get to experiment on one of their favourite games, and give it some newer experience for players to enjoy.
Oh, i actually know the ending to kirbys rampage. You kill sakurai, who is a two phase boss fight in the super Metroid universe, basically replacing mother brain. Afterwards, Kirby finally becomes edgy, the whole purpose of the journey.
Good rundown of many Kirby rom hacks and fangames! There definitely is a good mix of stuff that the hacking community has done! It is definitely easy to be a Kirby fan!
So not necessarily a rom hack or fan game, but years ago there was a program released called _KALE_ (Kirby's Adventure Level Editor). Basically, you can make your own custom Kirby's Adventure levels to develop your own rom hack. I've used it and it actually is pretty versatile (and fun) for anyone wanting to experiment in creating their own rom hack.
Also, yes, where is the reboot of the Adventures of Lolo!? I miss him...😭
You forgot one of the best things of the revenge of dreamland hack, it actually adds a new super ability without replacing any data of the existing ones which I think is pretty amazing
I love the fact that people have the creativity and bravery to create these ROM hacks.
(I don't know how to not be that person that changes the subject, I don't comment on videos a lot; can you check out Mario Flash, what a story it is!)

Kirby: Galaxy Gamble Stories (Literally a modern Kirby game in GBA style )
Kirby: Wacky Episode (Coolest power ups, and probably the most complete Kirby fan game, and THE BOSS IS ZERO 👹)
Kirby: Invaders of the Dark (Hardest Kirby fan game, and the bosses are actually hard, and the map is bigger)
Kirby: Battle Blitz (Tekken level Kirby fighting game)

I remember doing a Facebook live stream of the final version of the Kirby's Halloween Adventure rom hack. It's very good and I would recommend it to anyone who's played the OG NES Kirby's adventure, even if it's not Halloween.

If you ever do a follow-up, PLEASE talk about the dreamland 3 randomizer being made for the archipelago randomizer architecture. It has some good features, such as Friend Star shuffle and interaction with the other games on the architecture.

I think that Grump's Dream Course, a romhack for Kirby's Dream Course that was originally made for the Game Grumps channel, is one of the best hacks the series has received for sure. It's got around a hundred new handcrafted levels that are actually good, and who wouldn't want more Kirby minigolf to play around with!?
The man who made that “Rubber” film also makes music. That song that was in Levi’s ads in the 90s, that was him. He goes by Mr. Oizo and does House and Hip Hop. He also recently put out a collab project with french rapper, Phra.
It's been years since I've seen Aege. That brought me back to the days of intricate sprite fight scene Flash animations on TH-cam.
