I watch several SW content creators including Lore Master and I have to give kudos for being (I think) the only one that lists your sources.
With such a vast sea of SW material I think it’s so important to give viewers that list of sources so they can explore a subject in more detail if they were especially intrigued by a video’s topic.

Lost Stars (and pretty much all the other books written by Claudia Gray), both Darth Vader comic series, Doctor Aphra comic series, the main 2015 Star Wars comic series, all the new James Luceno Star Wars books and the first Thrawn book, and I'm sure a few other stuff from the new EU that I can't name off the top of my head but that I know I've really enjoyed.

I think that in a explanation book about the lore in the return of the jedi, they talk about the imperial council and sate pestage, he was also a member of palpatine's cabinet during the prequel but the identities of it's members were not precise, but we know pestage was one of them along the umbaran woman and mas ameda in the films.

I like legends Palpatine a lot more than he current canon version. He had a lot more depth to him, and seemed to have sliver of light left in him. In the Disney canon it’s like they want shock audiences by seeing how evil they can make him.

Technically wasn’t Grand Vizier the third highest rank falling behind the rank of Supreme Commander which was held by Darth Vader?
It is actually second in rank. The Emperor was the Head of State while the Grand Vizier was the Head of Government. If you are familiar with constitutional affairs, the Head of Government is often the most powerful individual of the state who holds all significant political power (that usually happens in parliamentary republics or modern constitutional monarchies). The Supreme Commander usually doesn't have any authority on politicians but I am not sure if that is the case in the Star Wars Galaxy but it is safe to say that Sate Pestage was, technically speaking, the second most powerful man in the Empire after Palpatine.
Emperor Palpatine as far as I know yes this was different in Star Wars. Especially since most governments in our world the head of state is also considered the supreme commander of their nations military
@@tjmcfadden5137 Precisely...It is worth mentioning though that Palpatine, following the battle of Coruscant, passed a bill known as "Security Act Amendment" which made him Supreme Commander of the Republic's Armed Forces and on the top of that, it placed him in command of the Jedi Order with the power to dissolve it if he deemed necessary. So even in Star Wars, the Head of State (and Head of Government) was briefly Supreme Commander. It is a bit odd though, that Palpatine, who was obsessed with absolute power, actually handed those powers to other individuals once he became Emperor. Strange isn't it?
Emperor Palpatine I think to Palpatine those titles and positions were just designations for who had to do the day to day work. Palpating himself was mostly just focused on the force but made sure that as head of state of most of the galaxy he could do whatever he wanted. It is funny though when you thinking how much running of the galaxy he did before the empire though

@@zd_5907 I'd rather see Lucasfilm and Disney continue Star Wars Legends as its own universe like what DC and Marvel do. That way everyone can enjoy Star Wars. That is why there is a Star Wars Legends movement petitioning and asking Lucasfilm and Disney to continue it.

i'd like to think that, back in the day, they didn't intend on palpatine being human and that his wrinkly grey appearance was not that, but that he was some kind of near human species and that his inner circle were also meant to be members of his species.

Most B1 battle Droids were scrapped for parts or remodeled into training dummies. Tactical Droid heads were scavenged and mined for data. High-ranking officials like Wat Tambor, Poggle the Lesser, and Nute Gunray were held for ransom, interrogated, or imorisoned. In general, since most CIS forces were droids, there were no prisoners in the traditional sense, only scrap metal.

Wow, Mr. Pestage is a very unique and interesting Star Wars character. Amazing how he was among the handful of people in the galaxy who knew Palpatine was a Sith. I think the Sate who was destroyed by the imperials was a clone and the real Pestage was on Byss helping Palpatine! Too bad he did not get off the planet before the Galaxy Gun got rammed and the torpedo blasted the planet apart...

I like how Palpatine friends are exactly crippled like him. They all look old and they got wrinkles in their faces like it's some sort of group. Palpatine made a squad.
When Plageuis was attacked by assasins it was Pestage and Palpatine who came to rescue him. My favorite part of the book. Hego Damask was at a illuminati freemason banker type of ritiual and the assasins were robed and mixed within the banking clan members. The entire scene is badass.

Reminds me of the relationship between Ragnar and Athelstan in the tv show, Viking. The main reason that relationship formed was because Athelstan wasn’t ambition to the point of wanting to Bretray his comrades, he was just chill dude.
