Hi, depends - has the nonprofit you're helping agreed to pay you as a fundraising contractor and developed a contract for you? If you desire to get paid, having that conversation with them is the first step.

Hi Ms. Amber, I trying to put on a fundraiser for a kids basketball nonprofit organization. This nonprofit helps kids get schlarships and possible NBA and WNBA careers. Unfortunately I have no idea how to run a fundraiser. Can you help me with the basics?
